I am particularly curious about the jerky, but I did not get a chance to try it because I was in a rush. We ordered some burrito and the loaded fries. The portion was huge that 1 person would not be able to finish 1 order! I found a Mountain Dew energy drink, and I got so excited, and purchased it. However, later on I found out that it was expired. Would have never found this place without Yelp, but I'm so glad I did. We were doing a roadtrip down the Oregon coast and stopped at Wilsons Market for some lunch. It wasn't crowded at all on Tuesday afternoon when we came. From the outside, it's a small nondescript grocery story, but the magic happens when you walk up to the deli counter inside. The menu is pretty straightforward, pick from either tacos, burritos, or or some specialties like nachos and quesadillas. They're most well known for their crispy shell tacos, so I got two, one with chicken and one with pork ($6 each), and my friend got their vegetarian burrito for $12.99. Once we got our food, we immediately ate it at the picnic tables outside. We both really enjoyed our food. The tacos were packed full of delicious meat, and even though I'm typically not a fan of hard shell tacos, this one hit the spot. Of the two meats, the pork was my personal favorite as I found it more flavorful. The chicken was on the creamier side. My friend absolutely loved his burrito as well, which was GIANT. We stopped in for a cold beverage & for some pantry staples, and decided to order their burrito, their taco plate, and the burrito bowl. And WOW. Oh. My. Gosh. It was a LOT of food. They had just started serving lunch items (at 11) so breakfast burritos were still available (scrumptious). The portions were ENORMOUS & the food was delicious, tasty, and fresh! The street taco plate came with FIVE tacos piled high with mouth watering pork and all the fixings. The sign out front says "enter as a stranger, leave as a friend" which felt a bit trite, but honestly it's true! The gentleman who served us was pleasantly chatty, amiable, and expressed thanks that we waited a few minutes for our food. There were plenty of questions from us and she took them all in stride and answered each of our inquiries. Our order came out fast and while we were waiting I was offered samples of their Criminal Jerky. I loved the new flavor that came out - salt&vinegar. Food was flavorful and the portions were great! After wanting to try this place for a while, we finally did it on Mother's Day. An unusually high temp day on the coast. (89 degrees). We ordered the barbecued pork nachos and the chicken burrito (CRB). Both were delicious. Very generous portions, and the food looked just like it did in the pictures. The young gentleman working the food counter, was very helpful in explaining the options, was knowledgeable and courteous. They offer outdoor seating. The time it took us to eat our meal we probably watched 15 people come and go. It is a very well known place. We did try the beef jerky, and while the flavor was outstanding, the meat was very tough. I had to cut the beef jerky into little pieces to eat it but overall this place lives up to its reputation. We will go back for sure. read more
