Terrible customer service. Unfortunately it's the only uniform supplier for my child's school but I'm one of many starting the crusade to change that! 1.5 to two week wait times for embroidery that is done in house? And I only have one item! Their reason is that it's the busy season for a school uniform store! Maybe nobody told them that school starts every year in the fall so they should plan accordingly? They do not offer any sort of online ordering/delivery so I have no choice but to make the 30 minute drive each way over and over and over. read more

It's fine, i can't say that the service is good or too bad though. Prices are definitely too high, one assistant didn't help much, it feels like only one assistant knows how to really help, but overall it was pretty confusing, wait her they have the right size, either not, either they will bring it right now, either they just walk away forgetting about you, so that is confusing. read more

I wish Yelp had the option to give this store more than 5 stars. May and Barbara, the store owners, are exceptional with their customer service and attentiveness. We all know that back to school shopping can be the most stressful time for busy parents, but visiting Educational Outfitters is one stop I do not have to worry about. They take care of everything! From sizing to alterations and everything in between, the owners and their well-trained staff have everything covered. Though I restock throughout the year, I typically visit around June/July to get the bulk of the uniforms for the start of the new school year. They show me every item that is offered, and make sure to mention the changes or new items our school has added. They fit my children excellent and always consider their growth, so I do not have to get a whole new set of uniforms by the time it is September. And when I need my shirts logo'd they do it on the spot with an embroidery machine that is so fascinating. Getting items altered is also such a quick and easy process. Their attention to detail really makes a world of a difference. I just pray the next school I decide to send my children to uses Educational Outfitters for their uniforms. By far the best customer service I have ever had. Barb and May who are the owners,are always present. I have never walked in and not found one of them there. I also walk out of the store with whatever it is I came for. Full inventory. On site embroidery. Not only is customer service important to them but also their staff. Went to store mid-July to purchase uniforms to avoid the rush of the "back to school crowd" in August. Skirts had to be ordered and still have to be altered. Promised a phone call back in 2 weeks, no phone call was ever received. Tried calling back 3 weeks later and all I kept getting was a piercing fax noise. Called 2x yesterday, spoke to a very incompetent woman who had to be told to take my name and number in order to call me back after researching where my order was. Still no return phone call. Called 2x today and after 3 employees finally got one of the owner's Barb. Why is there no follow up via text or email to notify the customer that their order has been delayed for whatever reason?! Amazing that you can drop $400.00+ at a store and be treated so poorly. Advising principal tonight at parent meeting to find an alternative uniform store. I do not have time every day to be following up with a store who obviously does not care about their customers after he/she has made payment. disappointed and highly annoyed. This will be the third year that Educational Outfitters will be the supplier of spirit wear for the Mercy High School basketball program. Both May and Barb are very customer focused and have gone above and beyond to get the merchandise to us before the holiday season, even when our orders have been submitted after the agreed upon deadline. The first year we ordered through a different company, and the ordering process was a nightmare, the orders came in after the promised due date, and they wouldn't accept returns, eve though it was their error. I generally do not waste my time with these things but I am overwhelmed with the deplorable service and rude treatment by the owner. I figured first encounter was a bad day, but there have been several encounters and she has been awful every time. It is most upsetting that there is NO end in sight since my daughters school only does business here any longer for uniforms. Her support staff of young high school or college girls are very kind.
