Fidelity Investments - All my Statements I had to order because they kept switching me to e-delivery to keep me in the dark

This move to Fidelity was such a horrible experience…read more I knew this guy , Joe Bartosic was Dishonest and contacted his boss and we had a special meeting. His Boss, Ryan Steward assured me that he was an honest guy and would make me some money. My instincts were 100% correct. I think I'm down 50K or 60K plus he sold all my Verizon/GTE Dividend Stock, that I have had since 1977 and was paying 2K a year in dividends. and Sold several of my Vanguard Funds without my approval. Vanguard Emerging Markets (VEMAX) and others. I'm not 100% what I am going to do but I am going to write a review on YELP , list all my problems and make sure everyone knows the truth. Shame on Fidelity, I trusted them and they weren't worth trusting. If you have to be DISHONEST to get customers, that shows what a horrible company Fidelity is. I have not even looked how much you charged me to move back to Vanguard. attached are pics of my statements that he refused to send me. Now I know why, He didn't want me to figure out he was cheating me. Fidelity kept changing my mail back to e delivery and I have the emails etc. I did get a partial statement in September. but then is when they changed me back to e delivery and they did it multiple times. I had to contact Fidelity directly to get statement to figure out how you cheated me. I got 3 months of statements. I made the move to get out of this Fidelity mess right then!. Was a customer since 1977 and you screwed me. Fidelity has is still holding 25K for more than a month. Give me my money so I can invest in some lower fee quality Vanguard products. Big pitch was how easy my life would be. Now I have a full time job sorting out this mess and now have to sell all these Fidelity dogs. They really screwed me. You cheated me and made trades I did not authorize or was ever told about. I had my Verizon stock since I was 26 and it was my first start to a saving plan. I would have never sold it and it is a dividend stock that pays quarterly. This Verizon/GTE stock was my first investments and were VERY important to me. Kind of a benchmark, marking my progress in investments. My losses with the Fidelity funds are the worst in my investing history and this all took place in less than 4 months. Please stay away from this company, it's almost elder abuse. When I contacted Fidelity Corp about the unauthorized trades etc., they gave me the song and dance everything was on the up and up. I told them that we should hire the best Polygraph Examiner in the Northern Virginia area to ask these two questions with the dishonest person paying the examiner. Offer still goes! They never responded to my offer. 1. Did Fidelity ever tell me they would be making unauthorized trades. 2. Did Fidelity ever tell me when trades were made, why and who authorized them. NEVER! Stay away from these DISHONEST people. Now it is a full time job trying to sort out this mess. Joe Bartosic is in the top of my list, in my 74 years of life that I totally dislike. I go to bed every night with a prayer that he and his team suffer the pain and hardship that I am dealing with right now. Today, I am going to have my taxes done, I am not looking forward to this since I am pretty sure because of Fidelity my Capital Gains etc. are really going to hurt me

When my husband and…read more I were initially searching for some support with our finances, we were looking for someone who could meet us at our level and explain financial topics in ways we could understand ( HSAs, Roth IRAs, Traditional IRAs, HYSAs, etc.) We were looking for someone who help us understand our current financial picture and whether we were saving enough to be able to retire at our desired age, be able to enjoy our current hobbies of traveling, and pay for medical expenses we will have. As a woman who got married later and came to my marriage with assets, I wanted to make sure I was making smart financial decisions with regards to my investments, savings, and spending habits as I know I will take home less money than my husband. We found that in Kevin and are so grateful for his knowledge and guidance. Kevin has helped me understand my financial portfolio and adjust my investment choices to match my financial goals. He has a unique approach to providing guidance with regards to finances which involves front loading the work together with weekly meetings the first month followed by check-ins and continued financial information through articles on various financial topics. We highly recommend working with Kevin if you are looking for solid guidance around your finances.

I also didn't know if I was being too hasty in pursuing a financial advisor when I was just starting out; was the investment in a financial planner worth it considering I had little assets, a moderate paycheck, and student loan debt? Since I was rather anxious in not wanting to make mistakes that could impact the rest of my financial life, I decided to look into Kevin. His website drew me in with his focus on millennials and the unique financial challenges we face. He seemed real and truthful which is what I was looking for above all else. Someone to give me real, concrete advice, and not take advantage of me considering my limited understanding in "adult" finances. After my first free consultation I knew I was in good hands and that his website accurately reflected his values. Although it was a financial investment to get a financial planner, Kevin has helped me set up a future that is beyond worth the money I spent/spend. We continue to have check-ins as my financial situation changes and he never holds judgement when I need a concept explained or broken down considering money has a lot of jargon. I now feel confident in my plans for paying off my student debt, investing in my future, and living a normal life all at the same time. I recommend him to all my friends and coworkers when conversations turn to finances as we all navigate this often challenging money world.

One of the things I was most impressed with about Josh was that he says what he's going to do and then he does it. He arrived at my house on time and looking sharp. The presentation he made was straightforward and convincing. I had a 401(k) account with a previous employer that Josh worked with me to rollover to a Traditional IRA. Now my money is being watched by someone who is conscious of my goals and lifestyle. It felt great to be involved in the decision-making process. I'm confident my nest egg is secure. One thing I had never considered was the tax-diversification benefits of cash value life insurance and the other benefits of term insurance. We were able to find the right balance of each for my situation. Josh represents himself and his company, New York Life, very well.

After a few consultations, one in his office and two in my house, we implemented solutions for life insurance and retirement. Josh took a collaborative approach; we exchanged several emails back and forth throughout the entire process. I was involved every step of the way; I always knew what was going on and what the next steps were. One of the most impressive practices was Josh's methodical/deliberate approach. His process was exhaustive. Since I put the financial plan in place, Josh meets with me every 6 months for a check-up/review.

Worked with Sean Shaughnessy (VP, financial consultant) from this branch for the last 4 months and he has been so helpful to us setting up accounts, POA, transfers, and all sorts of random finance and tax questions. We had terrible experience with investment consultants at another bank that we paid a lot of fees to, it was a complete nightmare, so glad we finally pulled the money out and can now self direct.

Don't believe me - call ANY of the phone numbers listed and TRY to reach a human being; just try !!! I stopped trying to use their AI phone system long ago and started going into the branch offices instead. THIS branch attempted to transfer a very large retirement account into my Swab account. The first attempt FAILED when they forget to mail the signature pages on the transfer documents. The second attempt FAILED when they forgot to send the notary authorization form. I have a 9 year old nephew that can put 6 pieces of paper into an envelope and mail it, but it took these guys 3 times and several weeks of wasted time to get it right. I tried calling the branch manager and assistant manager several times and got voicemail, but never even the common courtesy of a callback. If you do business with Schwab, you better get used to baby-sitting or doing things yourself !!! They simply don't care if you do business there or not.
