I've never had a problem with any Edwin Watts in the past, but this one left me severely disappointed. Brought in my Scotty Golo 6.2 for a shaft change and grip install. The shaft graphics were not aligned with the spine and glue was left exposed around the tip of the shaft. Really sloppy job that I am now going to take elsewhere to have fixed. Not sure who did the build but hard to trust this place with any of my other clubs! read more

Have always liked Edwin Watts (Turkey Lake road)and the assurance you receive when you walk in the door. I went with my son and he wanted to try out several brands. The associate recommended several brands and set him up and he hit them all for over an hour. We settled for a brand and bought the clubs. I enjoy the store and the selection. Brain the manager is a true gentleman, I bought a second hand sim 2 from them with a custom shaft but upon further inspection there was cracking towards where the shaft means the head, he immediately switched it out and let me demo a shaft for the round I was playing no questions asked and the shaft he let me demo performed exactly how my old one had, the staff is also super helpful and got me dialed in with some used Vokey wedges for very cheap, around 125$ for three barely used clubs and traded my m5 for a discount on the sim 2, overall just changing my wedges and drives has improved my scoring by 4-6 strokes due to me actually hitting fairways off the tee with my driver instead of doing a search and sweep of the general area right of the fairway , hope that the new shaft arrives soon so I can post pictures it's absolutely perfect read more

Although I've taken golf lessons, have golfer blood in my family, and date an avid golfer, I had no idea that this store was a chain. Which made it less exciting for me when I ran home to tell my boyfriend of my new discovery. Regardless, I think it's a worthwhile place for new golfers, old golfers, young golfers and friends of golfers. The door mat that you step on before entering the store states that they have been around since 1968 which signifies that they know their stuff when it comes to this sport. And when I walked in to what seemed like a ginormous pro shop, I was assured that this was the case. This location, set back off of Turkey Lake Road, is extremely large and filled with hats, polos, tees, balls, gloves, books, clubs, bags, umbrellas, etc. You name it, it's there. They even have creative versions of the accessories needed to play a round. For all of you gator fans, you'll be happy to know that they carry a variety of items in Gator honor. They also carry a favorable amount of women's items as well as children's, a.k.a. junior golfers. Nike, Mizuno, Titleist, Cleveland, Ping, Callaway and many others have great presences here. And if you'd like to catch the latest match, they have a flat screen TV broadcasting golf matches/tournaments. If you need some extra help or want to test out your new driver, they do have a Golf Academy in house. Its composed of 3 large sectioned areas with very large screens projecting a hi-def computerized version of a golf course. So when you make your swing it is able to analyze your form and speed. It also happens to look pretty cool to someone who cares very little about golf (meaning me). There are nice leather couches behind these areas for anyone who has come just to watch. And lastly, if you break your club in a fit of rage, hope might not be lost. They do repairs here as well. read more

4 stars for a solid golf shop. When I'm looking to get golf equipment in Orlando, I usually go down to the Edwin Watts. Located on Turkey Lake Road off of Sand Lake, this Edwin Watts is a good location with both nets for trying clubs and a digital driving center for lessons. It also has a large putting green area in the center with tons of putters (new and used) to try and possibly buy, as well as clothes and lots of other golf equipment. On my most recent visit, I was looking to grab a couple used wedges for a round later in the afternoon. While I play, I don't always know as much about things like angles and proper fit. Fortunately, a woman named Tina is often working and has helped me out several times. While she helped with my swing last time, she was able to help me find the right club this time. She even came up and took time to use a heat gun to get the stickers off! That combination of friendliness and service is hard to beat. Overall, the Turkey Lake Edwin Watts store has a great selection (especially on used clubs) along with great and friendly service. read more

Supper Classy Golf Shopping! From the moment you step into Edwin Watts you feel like a member of the country club. Honestly, I felt a little underdressed when I walked in with Jeans and a Tee on. But I digress, there is a whole lot to love in this place, and even though I was just browsing all the golfing supplies, there was a lot to see. The Good: Pro equipment: Normally I would balk instantly at the thought of a $1000 golf club, but due to the nature of this place, it's pretty apparent that this place is for the pros only. And if you're a pro, then chances are good that there is something truly special about that $1000 club. Used equipment: But for the rest of us who like to pretend that we're pros, this place has USED equipment that is guaranteed. How awesome is that? I get to feel like a pro for half the price? Sold. The Bad: N/a I wouldn't consider myself an avid golfer, but after stepping into this place I kinda wish I was. It's so nice inside, and the golf clubs are just so pretty.... Went here with my dad to find him a used hybrid and/or driver. The staff was so nice, they set up demo area for him while we browsed at the very good selection of pre-owned clubs. We were not hassled but about every 10 minutes a staff member would stop by to see if we had any questions. My dad must of tried about 15 different hybrids and 5 drivers. He ended up getting a pre-owned Callaway driver priced well. They threw in a headcover and an adjustment tool to change the loft and face angle for free.
