    Caesar salad & mozzarella sticks
    Lauren B.

Huge shoutout to Maggie, Essence, & the whole team at Eebees! The staff are a huge reason to even go. They made this such a memorable experience. The food, especially burgers & banana split, never disappoint. From the dirty shirley cocktail to the caesar salad, the menu is unreal. Every single thing is a winner. Never met a place where they could put anything in front of me and I would be happy. I had the grilled cheese with bacon for the first time and lets just say after a few drinks its the best thing. Please please please never change Eebees!

This place definitely lives up to the hype. The mozzarella sticks and burger were great very tasty and flavorful. The mozzarella sticks are big and a lot for one person. They have great flavor and are fried well. Nice and crunchy and cheese is melted on the inside. The burger has great flavor from the dry aging that you can taste. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The chips that came with it were good and nicely fried. Service was nice and friendly I sat at the bar they are very busy with drink orders but were nice and checked throughout my meal if everything was good. It's a dive bar with great food. It's worth waiting in line for and you'll enjoy it.

There's nothing better than a bar with good food (the kitchen is open until 1 am on the weekends). The bartenders and waiters are so genuine and attentive. I ordered onion rings and a shrimp cocktail, and it was surprisingly filling. I also have another friend who frequents this bar that adores the sandwich. The sauce that they use for the crackers is to die for. I like the theme of the bathrooms, but wish that there was more Black representation.

Eebee's deserves every bit of hype it's getting. This location on the corner of 6th & FL has had its share of turnover over the years, but this finally feels like a restaurant that's here to stay. They don't take reservations, so plan ahead and expect a wait...we were quoted three hours and ended up waiting closer to 1.5! Pro tip: grab a drink nearby while you wait (Shaws, 600T, ECA, ...). The staff makes it easy, taking your name and number and texting when your table's ready. Inside, the vibe hits immediately: dark, moody, and effortlessly cool. It has that dive bar feel, but it's brand new, which somehow works perfectly. Casual, lively, and comfortable all at once. The menu is small, but in the best way. They're clearly focused on doing a few things really well. The Caesar salad was unreal, loaded with parmesan. The mozzarella sticks were massive and tasted homemade (because they are). And the burger? Worth the hype. Perfectly cooked, topped with a big crispy onion, smothered in cheese, and served with beef tallow fries. Unreal. I wish I had room for the banana split and the turkey club... guess I'll just have to come back. Service was excellent across the board. Even on a packed Friday night, we were checked on often, food came out quickly, and our server was friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. Bottom line: there are very few places I'd wait in the rain for: this is one of them.

I've been sitting on this review for quite a long time, mostly because I feel it was going to be controversial or against the grain. I first off want to start and say it's so exciting to see a place get so much buzz and so much recognition all over all of the platforms. I think that in itself, is so impressive. I also think that because of all the hype, maybe my expectations were too high? We came in on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky to snag some seats in the back. We started with the mozzarella sticks. These were yummy and crispy and cheesy, but nothing out of this world if we are being honest. Still, it was a good start to our meal and I'm glad we tried them. Next, we each did the burger. I'm not a cheese gal so maybe that was my downfall here, but the burger for me was just fine. I feel like the concept is great in theory, but even as juicy as the meat is, I feel a special sauce might add a bit more flavor. My friend who ordered the burger with the cheese even felt something was missing. Again, the food was fine, but nothing out of this world. And that's okay! I just don't understand the hype, at the risk of sounding like a hater. Could it be the aesthetic and the vibe of a neighborhood bar? Perhaps?? But if we are being honest about the food, I think that's a separate conversation. I love a good bar menu and a good bar burger but this one just doesn't stand out to me. Again, I'm happy about its success - I think we need more places like this that give a no frills vibe, but this is still not a dive bar and the food is nothing to write home about, in my humble opinion.

I truly cannot say enough great things about this perfection of a bar! Eebee's Corner Bar is what happens when you take the friendly, neighbourhood, at-home feel of a dive bar and mix it with good, old fashioned grub. First of all, one of the BEST dirty martinis I've had in the city, and only for $13! Second, me and my friend both got the burgers, and I loved it so much I only ate half so I could have the rest the next day for lunch. Finally, we topped it off with their banana split (the banana is brûléed!), and I can't imagine it getting any better than that. I'm already planning my next trip!

Walk into Eebee's Corner Bar and you'll feel the energy. It's not the crowded bar or the noise of people laughing and enjoying each other. What you feel is the energy of passion, the satisfaction of owner and Native Washingtonian Emily Brown living her dream, a dream that threads every detail behind D.C.'s newest favorite corner bar. Since it opened its doors in November 2025, Eebee's Corner Bar has gained the attention of local media and neighbors alike. The result is a busy flow of people every day they are open, which is Monday-Sunday. They don't take reservations, but the staff are friendly and will gladly add you to the waitlist and invite you to order a drink at one of two bars. My friend Keith and I walked in around 8:15 p.m. on a Thursday evening in February. The wait was supposed to be two hours, but after one hour, we got a table. The drink menu is simple. There's draft beer and even a North Carolina hard cider. The cocktails are classics like daiquiris and martinis. Keith enjoyed a negroni and I ordered two sours with amaretto. Each one was consistent, cold, and well balanced. For food, the menu is again simple. Their famous for their dry aged cheeseburger. The chef recommends it medium rare, but as a former vegetarian, I couldn't do it. I ordered mine medium and it was still tasty. The cheese wraps around most of the thick patty. It comes on a house-made sesame bun. The fries are unique and crispy on the outside and softer on the inside. If you love a lively gathering spot that's full of energy worth tapping into, wait out the line at Eebee's Corner Bar or go on a Sunday evening when it's a little less busy.

This is definitely the hot spot, known as an elevated dive bar, it's the toughest place to get in. Your odds are the best if you show up a few minutes before the bar opens, even then there will be a line to get in. I love that they have 2 bars so plenty of room. The drinks were so crisp and perfect. The food menu is rather small. I wish they had a vegetarian option for the infamous burger.

We went on a Sunday and the wait was about an hour for two people, but we grabbed drinks at the bar and it flew by. The vibe inside is great -- lively but comfortable -- and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We ordered the club, cheeseburger, and Caesar salad. Everything was good, but if we had to recommend one thing, it would absolutely be the club. It was huge and so delicious. I've heard the lines can get long on weekends, but it's definitely worth it. We would absolutely go back.

Ebees is exactly what you want in a neighborhood bar. It has that easy, welcoming feel the second you walk in, no pretension, just good vibes and great people. The bartenders are super friendly and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time there. The Ebees Light deal is hard to beat, and the beers are always ice cold. It's the kind of place where you can settle in for a few rounds without overthinking it. Great spot to catch a game or just hang out and actually talk with friends (without screaming over club music). The burger is surprisingly solid too, not overcomplicated, just really good bar food done right. Definitely looking forward to going back. Feels like one of those spots you want to keep in your regular rotation.

Not sure how I missed when this spot first opened -- that's what I get for being too lazy to take that walk down Florida past my usual spots, haha. A friend had mentioned it to me and then I saw it and was like "oh, that's the place!" I was just casually exploring the neighborhood and decided to stop in, and I immediately loved the vibe of the place. I grabbed a seat at the bar and got an almost immediate greeting from the bartenders. I got a Rusty Nail, a classic cocktail that I've actually never had before... it's whiskey and drambuie. I loved it. I did want to continue my evening exploring so that was all I got, and then I was on my way. I heard I need to return for a burger, so that'll be happening soon. On my way out, I saw that they have a spacious back area... the place is definitely awesome. Can't wait to come back!

Great neighborhood spot! Food was tasty and hot, service was excellent, and fairly priced! The burger was super beefy- the patty was over an inch thick and I don't understand how they got THAT much umami flavor in it. Fries were slightly underwhelming but the burger made up for it. Also I'm usually wary of raw onion on a burger but it wasn't overpowering. We were sat immediately which I wasn't expecting given all the hype! We also got the Caesar salad which was had good flavor but a little limp. I didn't try my friend's shrimp cocktail but she liked it!

I came here the other night with my friends and it was a nice afternoon drink spot. I got a kir royale (which came in a martini glass? not bad, but not what I'm used to) which was good. My friend got an espresso martini, which I didn't get a chance to try, but it looked perfect - a good amount of foam and opaque through and through, none of that watery cold brew concentrate nonsense. I didn't get anything to eat as I'd had a late lunch, but I had some of my friend's caesar salad which was amazing - absolutely smothered in parm and dressing. The absolute highlight were the bathrooms though!! I've been in some fun restaurant bathrooms, but these took the cake. One was decorated with Broadway playbills, played show tunes, and had a life-size cutout of Tim Curry as Dr. Frankenfurter staring at you as you were on the toilet - utterly fantastic. The other bathroom was covered with baseball pennants, baseball cards, actual baseballs on the ceiling, and had radio coverage of live games. I love when places take their time to do fun/unconventional decorating in their secondary spaces. Definitely look forward to coming back another time!

Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft. My date found this gem on TikTok and it became the second stop on my birthday celebration. We left Daru and a short drive later we were on the hunt. Hidden in an alley behind Henceforth we stopped to ask someone working at a nearby spot for directions. We found the alley, spotted the blue light, and rang the bell. The door opened and we were whisked inside. Up the stairs a hallway lined with smaller parlor style rooms set the tone before we even reached the bar. Velvet fabric draped the ceiling over a grand bar decked out with bottles and dim lighting. Bar seating up front and high top tables arranged along the wall. We had not even ordered yet and the atmosphere had already delivered. To our surprise our escort to our seats was also one of the bartenders. Around 10pm there was only one other gentleman at the bar. No drink menu so we went with a staple old fashioned. Watching the bartender chisel ice and lower it into the glass with with a bar spoon was a talent worth watching. It was so memorable it made me want to chisel ice myself. The old fashioned was great. The no photography rule was listed and we followed it without question. No one around us had their phones out taking pictures and my date and I were not about to be the ones to break the code. A party of women came in looking incredible, clearly there to celebrate something special. Black girl magic was fully in the building!! The couple seated at the high top to our right came in after us and we quickly became their guides. They lucked up on this place as first timers just like us and we balanced the experience together comparing drinks and sharing what we had learned. That kind of spontaneous connection is always the best part of a new space. And that is the honest note worth sharing. The bartender was clearly more in tune with the creation of drinks than creating an experience for guests. For a new visitor on a birthday celebration that gap was felt. We never even got to share what we were celebrating. It may have been an off night, but we can see how given the right inviting bartender those in the space would engage more, which feels like exactly the vibe they are going for. For a cocktail experience that elevates the night or a chance to extend it somewhere unexpected this place delivers. We would certainly go back with a group and a more inviting bartender to show us the ropes. Next time we may start at the Henceforth before coming over. The Unforgiving Minute is a gathering place worth coming back to.

The beer selection is incredible, vibes are solid - it is pretty old world and upscale for a beer joint - but if you are looking for a full meal vegetarians should go elsewhere. They *have* vegetarian options but it's one of those things where they do the bare minimum because they have to and your choices are like...the one thing. Which leads me to the one vegetarian entree, the risotto. It was fine. Not mindblowing. Small portion for the price - small portions all around, frankly. See my pic. Our server, who was impressively attentive/efficient given that he was the only person making the rounds to all of the tables in the upstairs room, which were packed because of the World Cup, recommended getting.the brussels sprouts small plate without bacon, so I did. I did not like it. It came with pomegranate seeds and a sauce that were sweet but then had parmesan and savory flavors that did not go. I suspect the salty, fatty bacon was important to balancing out these flavors. People I was with got house pickles, fries and meatballs which all appeared solid. The portions for the fries and meatballs were pretty teeny for the price IMO. Like I said, beer selection is out of this world. Not mad at the prices or portions there, especially given that it's largely imported. Is this personally a place I would make a go to? No. Only if I am taking out a friend who is super into beer tasting. But if I were super into French and Belgian beer and or really liked that kind of food (eg mussels and very meaty Northern European dishes) ? Maybe. So my personal recommendation is to come, have beer, enjoy the ambiance, and treat food as an afterthought for if you need something to eat.

This place is fantastic! We sat at the bar on a Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere, beautiful bar…read more I appreciate the hooks under the bar to hang your purse or bags. Thank you for having that. It's a detail that many bars forget but I can relax and enjoy my stay more when I know my belongings are safely tucked away. We got the Smorgesboard and Saffron Mussels. Both were EXCELLENT. The Mister got a few beers. The Smorgesboard had every charcuterie option and it was really fun building the perfect bite. I thought it was absolutely worth the price. I've paid more for less. Let me take a moment and collect myself before I talk about the Saffron Mussels. They were freaking amazing. The broth was mildly spicy, a powerful punch of salty herby flavor that paired wonderfully with the mussels. They were perfectly cooked with a tender chew. Served with fries and chunks of bread to sop up all that glorious broth. If you're thinking about getting the mussels, just do it. Truly, one of the best pot of mussels I've had. We are just visiting the area, but I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in town. What a delightful surprise to find this place.

I made a last minute change to meet a friend here, but much to my surprise... they had a PS5 and Tekken booted up at the bar. I am by zero means a Tekken player. Yes, I'm a huge gamer, but I'm terrible at Tekken. But the mere concept of being able to watch and play it at a bar is incredible. That aside, they got a bunch of board games like Trouble, Uno, Trivial Pursuit... the classics man! Oh right, the bar part. Their drinks are great. The staff are great. The specials are great. And they give you popcorn! And they have a whole little table with all the popcorn fixings if you don't want to eat it plain. You can literally bring in food from anywhere on top of that. I'm not sure if it's a Sunday thing, but the place really doesn't get too busy. It's quite a vibe. If you've never been and you're in the Logan Circle area, go.
