I am so terribly unhappy. I have a horrible situation where my entire yard needs to be completely excavated and I will then need to replace it and I will need a landscape design. It's actually a fairly small yard. It's not that big of a deal really Jon came out. He was late, but he came and now 67 weeks later. Still don't have an estimate. Yes I've texted him numerous times every time he says Yep, he'll have it to me next week. Yeah you'll have it to me this week. Yes it's coming and it never comes. It never ever comes so. It's just so sad because I did really like him when I met him and I do not have a very good good experiences history with contractors and I thought he was different but of course I think every single person I hire is different right I'm just a complete fool. I do not recommend this company. Maybe if you know you have $150,000 job maybe you'll get better attention I don't know. read more

First I'd like to say that it is easier to reach Jon through his email Jongreencare@ymail.com. I reached out directly through Yelp, didn't receive a response and after a day or two...ultimately went with another contractor(or tried). I setup an appointment with the other contractor and they no-call no-showed. I'm glad they did, because Jon contacted me a few days later apologizing for the delayed response on Yelp and asked if I could continue the conversation via email(hence my original note in this review). There was a princess tree or something of that nature that sprouted up last year and needed to go as it was getting out of control, my wife wanted weeds removed, washed rocks, and peonies in front. In the back we also finally decided to finish our walkway with flagstone. Jon was great to work with, responding to both texts and emails for verifications and changes throughout the process and pricing was competitive. Very happy with the end result and how quickly Jon and his team were able to finish everything. I highly recommend Bio Rich Green Care and I am looking forward to working with them in the future. read more

I hired Jon reading the great reviews. He was not the cheapest guy on the block but I did not care about a few hundred dollars. I wanted a pleasurable experience while building my new front yard walkway. Jon said that the sturdy walkway I was looking for would cost me a total $1500. We discussed and I said that the path way should be same in size as my old one but the added thing is it should cover a patch on the left near the foundation of my house but pretty much within the margins of that older one except it would be a bit broader. He measured with tape and I trusted him that he measured correctly. Little did I know HOW WRONG I WAS TO TRUST THIS MAN! Anyways he sent an email saying its 48 inch measurement. I accepted it without cross checking. Yesterday his team came and dug and put stones as a prep work for the size i had discussed all along the margins of my old path. Today when the person started laying blocks he called me and I noticed it was narrower than my old path.It was pretty noticeable as I have a bush on that side. I called Mr Jon. Initially he said he will come and visit the site immediately. After 5 minutes he called back and he decided that there was no need to visit the site. He said that he has that patch covered. I repeatedly told him that I was talking about the other side. But he decided that unless I pay him $200 extra he has already covered the 48 inches as per contract. I reminded him that he took the measurement and it was not me,and I trusted him based on his reviews.But he was adamant that the job was done according to contract and unless I pay him $200 dollars more it will not be the size I want. Meaning unless I paid him $200 dollars I have to live with this narrow path after spending 1500 So I was forced to pay him $200.I don't know if this measurement was a mistake on his part or to cheat me But if I was a business owner I would accept thus measurement mistake and do it just considering that how much the customer trusted me. This is the first time I am forced to give anyone less than a 5 star review. I do not have complaints on the job done and Mr Levi did not do a bad job. Please call Jon Greenstone if you have questions and problems with your lawn. I can only speak to my interactions with Bio Rich Green Care and its efforts for water mitigation in my lawn. I have had thousands of gallons of water coming towards my home as I'm at a slight decline off a major road. Jon came and gave me a reasonable quote to install a grate in my driveway, underground piping to a pop up drain system on two sides of my home along with building up the land near my home and adding rocks to the front. He also works with a company that installs gutters and they were quick. He was amazing and even came to my home during a rainstorm to look at how the water comes towards the house and problem solve based on his own observation. This was a Saturday he came and got wet looking at both the front and back yards. Please call Jon - he's reasonable, kind, and an educator as I also had questions about a rain pit and MoCo regulations and grants. You won't go wrong and he wants to do what is right. read more

I had a few companies give me an estimate to have some trees removed that had semi-fallen during a windstorm and Jon was the only one that actually took the time to explain to me exactly what needed to be done. On top of that, he came out the next morning, in the rain, to make sure the trees were removed before a pending snow storm so they would not cause further damage. Man, it's hard to find good landscapers around here. I used one a couple years ago and their performance was "okay" and their price was "way high" so I ditched them and decided to shop around more. Lots of failed attempt to find one through Yelp...dead numbers, didn't show up for the appointment, never answered the phone... So I tried this one, despite having no reviews, cause those weeds aren't gonna kill themselves, ya know. If I was clever, I'd have done a before/after set of pictures. I am apparently not that clever. Imagine, however, tall bushes, poorly pruned and now taller than I can reach...flower beds overtaken by fast growing vines...a nice garden area with more weeds than garden...basically it was like an episode of "Life After People". Just go google for that and there's your "before" image. I started off with an email saying where I was and what I wanted and my phone number and Jon called me later to set up an appointment. We met up on a Saturday to go over what I wanted done and he explained the price for me, breaking it down by materials and labor (something the previous landscaper didn't do). He knew the names of all the random crud, good and bad, poking out of the various tangles of plants and vines around my house, as well as the maladies impacting some of the bushes. He and a worker came out that Monday and did the job while I was at work, so I came home to a totally cleaned up exterior. Weeds gone, bushes nicely trimmed, lots of mulch, a little regrading work, etc. In the end, he charged less than the other landscaper and did a better job. I've already scheduled a gutter cleaning (he's also charging me slightly less for that than the previous company I used) and round 2 will be "what to plant in all this newly cleared and mulched space". So far so good. I would definitely give him a shot if you're needing landscape work done. read more

Jon is my absolute go to guy. Very knowable, honest beyond a doubt, and very hard working. We connected with him when we moved into our new house. He has been wonderful at helping us clean up and maintain our yard. His degree in horticulture shines as his discusses what to plant and where. His crew is fantastic and also very knowable.
