I was so excited to be in town just for 4 hours for a doc appts and couldn't wait to grab a snack at eegee's while I was in Tucson. I placed and order online so I could stop by and scoop it up on my way to my appt. After waiting 15 minutes I went inside to pick up my food only to see nobody at the counter, some workers passed me by but didn't acknowledge me as a patron standing there waiting for someone to grab my order. There was nobody in the drive thru either so I almost went through the drive through to pick it up but wasn't sure of that was proper protocol for a pickup order. Although I was in a hurry to get back on the road across town to get to my doc appt, I figured it would be safer to just park, run in, grab it, and go. But when I walked in, at around 3:25pm, it was really quiet and Perry dead inside. So when two employees saw me, made eye contact, and kept walking away without a word I suddenly was concerned about the work ethic of this establishment. Then I see 3 different women employees kicking a bucket in the back and laughing. One sees me, which I found out later was a manger named Arianna, made eye contact, and turned around and walked back towards the back without saying anything. I then continued to wait another couple minutes until she eventually came back out and said, "can I help you?" Yeah I have a pickup order. She says, "oh, I'll get that right out for you." With a look of surprise. Not let me grab your order but I'll get that right out for you. Which I assumed meant, she had no idea a ticket was even printed because they were all messing around in the back. I then see her start to put my order together. There was a ticket sitting up front at the register with my order but she never looked at it. So I assume there was a ticket in the back kitchen for her to know what I ordered. Then another employee comes up and asks what eegee I ordered. I tell her. So she started to pack my eegee. I ordered a bigee because I never get to come to eegee's as I live out of town. The eegee wasn't even filled properly. There was a huge air pocket on the center of the cup. So when I got to my appt, I grabbed coffee spoon at their beverage station and packed the eegee down, it was about 2/3rds full. They were also out of strawberry which was annoying as well. After waiting an additional 9 minutes for them to rush my order out, I head to my car. Check my order and I'm missing the buffalo fries, utensils, straws, spoons, napkins, the side of ranch. Then the manager proceeded to come out to the parking lot with my fries and started arguing with me. Telling me she's the type of person who likes to start the order once the customer arrives, telling me she didn't see the ticket, she a specific type of person this and that. So then I should have just gone through the drive through and it would have been faster? What's the point of placing the order ahead of time for pickup if you don't make it until the customer is there to pick up their order. So it took 25 minutes from the time I ordered to get my order and it was still missing items and the order was rushed and fell flat. Arianna then proceeds to give me excuse after excuse instead of just taking accountability that they were messing around in the back and not paying attention to tickets coming in. I tell her I now am going to be late for my appt and I won't have time to eat my food. No apology. She then throws her hand up in my face and says "do whatever you want." Not even sure what that means as I didn't threaten to leave a review or ask her for anything. Can't believe a manager goes out to the parking lot to argue with customers. I was shocked in disbelief. So unprofessional and horrible work ethic. Eegee's has gone downhill so badly over the years. It's a shame. No wonder so many are closing permanently. I was so excited and it turned out to be so disappointing. I thought this was the last good location and clearly that is not the case. read more

My order was taken promptly, I walked into the store rather then drive through. I was the only customer waiting and 3 other were enjoying their food in an empty restaurant. It took 4 employees standing around and 10 minutes to make a half a turkey sandwich. The sandwich was good, bread fresh, decent amount of lettuce/pickles/tomato. They charged me $0.75 extra for house dressing instead of Mayo. The total bill for a 6 inch Turkey and provolone was $7.79. So not really expensive. I would stop again if I had a bunch of time but for a quick lunch while at work-- I'd likely go elsewhere. read more

The fries were good, but the side of nacho cheese didn't have much zip. The chili was pretty small and not very warm temperature-wise. New favorite post workout cool down? First time trying an eegee after running a 5K and it was delicious. A cool treat to rehydrate. This time I tried the flavor of the month pineapple dream with strawberry. I waited a little longer than normal for someone to take the order but the eegee was worth the wait. Not sure if you changed where you get the bread but it was not cut down the middle and the sandwich fixing were not even on the bread. Wow. Horrendous service. My pickup order was supposed to be ready before I got there. I had an appointment to get to so I needed this to be quick. When I arrived, I was the only customer - not a soul inside or in the drive thru. When I asked for my order, the girl at the counter turned and told my order to the kitchen, apparently for the first time. Then they got something wrong and had to remake it. This whole time, I'm standing at the counter, and they're all ignoring me as they joke together and take their sweet time making my order. Never an apology for the fact that my order wasn't ready or for the mistake. Finally a girl walks out from the kitchen, still ignoring me and joking with others as she slowly bags up my order and finally hands it to me, again, with no apology for the wait and no acknowledgment of my presence. Not sure how this location is in business. I placed an online order at 1:30pm (4 sandwiches only) for a 4:20pm pick up. I arrived at 4:22pm. Order was not ready. Guy in the front said they were busy and would do their best. I said ok, understand that timing is not perfect. There was one other person in the restaurant. I waited while Uber Eats drivers came in and got their orders, and after 30 minutes I asked what my status was. He said we are really busy. Also in the meantime the drive thru was moving and food was going out. I would have left, but already paid and my family was waiting for the food back home. At 5:07pm a woman came out and handed me my food. No "sorry". I asked why an online order would take almost an hour, she told me online orders are not guaranteed. She was annoyed that I even questioned waiting 50 minutes for 4 sandwiches. She said the GM just quit and they were busy. My reco is they close this location and retrain the employees. I stopped today to get an order of fries. I found a notice at the window stating that they are no longer dealing with pennies in currency so they're not returning pennies in change. They will either round down or round up when it comes to collecting tender. My total today was $5.03. I gave the cashier a $20 bill with three pennies expecting to get back $15 and she tells me they don't accept pennies. The fact that you cannot give pennies back as change is one thing but telling me that you're going to not accept legal tender and keep my two cents is ridiculous. I know it's two pennies but it's still stealing and I gave you exact change. Either train your employees or round all your totals down. read more

Been a long time eegee's costumer. I ordered my classic grinder with ranch fries. First I told the drive thru employee that I have a rewards number with them and she would take it at window. I gave them my card after she told me the total. After giving her my card, I told her what my rewards phone number was. She gave me the receipt and told me to go to a the eegee's website to claim my rewards... super rude with the service. If you are going to have a rewards program with a fast food restaurant it shouldn't be so hard to claim. I will say eegee's has fell of harder than a rock in the past couple years. They changed their bread, tastes a day old. And now they are charging for extra sauces. Totally ashamed of them in general. Used to be my fav go to sandwich place. Über friendly service... probably the happiest people I've ever met working in the quick food biz, especially one young man. He seriously earns 5 stars for his attitude alone. Was informed that Eegee's is a local Tucson restaurant chain known for their smoothie. The guys felt that Eegee was alright and kind of like a family Subway. I found the restaurant to be spacious, like a large McDonalds, 90's vibes but with ads of their sandwiches and a few pastel blue walls. The service was good and wait time was reasonable. I was puzzled by the paste that everyone seemed to be ordering, which I learned to be their signature slush (I thought it was tomato paste). It's taste reminded me of an icy strawberry blend mixed with vitamins. It was wasn't my thing but it was unique and perhaps it grows on people. The sandwiches were grilled chicken, which is probably a healthier option than a beef hamburger. I found it to be rather plain but the guys were content with the iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. I feel really "extra" about myself with this review because nothing was terrible but there wasn't anything in particular that enjoyed. read more

Eegee's serves the most amazing shaved ice drinks (eegee's), that are cheap and tasty. They serve lemon, strawberry, and pina colada flavors every month, but also throw in a new flavor every month. You can also mix the different flavors together for free. The sandwiches are very tasty as well, though obviously not the main attraction. There are various types of sandwiches you can get and can choose whether to have it "sub", "grinder", or "d-lite" style. I've always liked the BLT grinder with ranch fries on the side. Also, the employees should realize that people will go to the counter when they're ready to order. Today my family had the second bad experience at this eegees location. My friend, who had just gotten to Tucson, wanted to go straight to her favorite local sub place. She requested a specific sandwich and when it was made incorrectly the staff was overly defensive and rude. When I went to check to see what was the hold up in getting her sandwich re-made the petite blond employee pretty much told me my friend lied. I asked her to get the sandwich, I showed her the mayo my friend couldn't stand to eat and she relented and had it made without an apology. I hate to post this because I love eegees, but this location needs some serious work. The cashier, Chrystal had horrible customer service, not just to me but to the 2 customers who ordered after me. Chrystal argued over petty, pointless things with the customers. One lady even walked out while ordering, stating she was going to the other eegees down the street. I arrived and placed my to go order at 1:30. At the time I was the only person inside the store. I ordered a cold club sandwich and a ranch fry. I did not receive my food until about 5 minutes after 2. Almost 40 minutes. There goes my entire lunch break. I watched countless cars in the drive thru being served before me. When I finally received my food, the bread was stale and hard, fries were cold to the touch and soggy. I tried to eat some of it since I waited so long and spent my money on it, but it was pretty bad and I ended up throwing it away. It's also not fair to the people that walk in to order for EVERYONE in the drive thru to be served first. Poor food quality, even worse customer service. read more
