    Full bucket salad
    Serena M.

This is a real bucket of salad. It is so good!!! I really love a salad bar, and I can't believe how generous Salad Nation is in their servings. The first time I tried it, I ordered a large and it was too much food for me! Now I get the regular and still almost struggle to finish it. The lettuce is kept cold in a fridge so it is super fresh, you get to add six toppings for a regular salad and a protein. I am dairy and gluten free, so I was nervous about their extensive dressing menu. I reached out on social media and they sent me this awesome list with my restrictions marked. I am really excited to try all the different dressings now! Also, they are local and have super great service!

Had to go and get some crispy chicken tenders. I love these tenders so much, they are the perfect crispy and very juicy. You have to try it for yourself. Service was excellent, make sure to tell the owner Omar I sent you . Ambiance is excellent with fast service.

Having visited several times, I'm always impressed with the quality of their food (even when taking it to-go!). The waffle fries are perfectly crispy, and the Jalapeño ranch wrap is always fresh--both have become my personal favorites. Great stop!

I love coming here for a salad! I love that you're able to choose your additions but also add sesame seeds, croutons, and other yummy toppings. I also love the buckets that make it really easy to toss your salads. I love that Park Mall has a place to eat healthily.

Fresh ingrediations and a large selection make this a stand out option in a mall food court (or really anywhere). Salads are huge, lots of options, lots of dressings. I got the Buffalo chicken which had enough sauce I didn't really need any dressing.

I love wraps, salads, and the like. This spot offers a huge variety of offerings: salad, burgers, chicken sandwiches, paninis, wraps, soup, drinks and chips. I thought the menu would be a variety of salads, but it's really a salad bar, where you pick your base, toppings and dressing. Protein for your salad is extra: Buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, parsley chicken, and lemon pepper chicken, natural chicken, crispy chicken, lemon pepper crab, tofu, diced honey ham! How's that for choices. You can order a half salad with 4 toppings for $8.75 or a whole salad with 6 toppings for $10.05 before adding your protein. Today I purchased sweet potato fries and an Aqua Fresca, which comes in a bottle, and they had a few flavors to choose from. I picked the limonada. I loved their fries as they were well seasoned and fresh. My favorite kind are sweet potato. I plan to try some other items soon.

leasantly surprised to find salad nation. I was intrigued, since this was in the mall, food court. As soon as I arrive, the place was really neat and clean. And a large menu for everyone to choose from and enjoy. As I walked up, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were very quick to provide service. I asked what they would recommend. And of course they suggested a salad, but if we wanted something different, the spicy chicken sandwich and a wrap were definitely another great option I asked about the soups, and they also advised that they were delicious and each one of them had their own flare. I ended up going with a spicy chicken sandwich, the jalapeño Caesar wrap, and the tortilla soup. And it took approximately 5 to 10 minutes to get my food, but it was definitely worth it. Everything was made fresh, and me to water. If you do order the chicken sandwich, be aware that it is spicy. Great flavor nice and crispy and very delicious. The portion of the chicken breast is definitely huge, and you could get a soda and fries for an additional four dollars. The tortilla soup was just like if your Nana made it. Great tomato stock flavor and they give you cheese avocado, and the tortilla chips to put on top of it. Just fantastic. The wrap was also delicious and the portion was also large. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I was not able to finish the entire portion, but was able to take the rest home to eat it the next day.. If you were going to be at the park place mall, I want something made to order fresh and delicious, I definitely recommend stopping here. You'll be very happy. I'm very satisfied with anything that you order.

For my salad series, I was so excited to check out salad nation. Not only do they have a great salad bar, but they offer soups, paninis, chicken tenders, and Aguas frescas, just to name a few! The salad I got was created by the wonderful help of jayda! I also ordered chicken tenders. They are packed with flavor and don't even get me started on the Chipotle ranch sauce! The salad was nice and cold and so refreshing! I hope in the future they will open one up in the tucson mall. For now, this place is definitely worth the drive. Go check them out! Great vibes

    Caldo de Queso
    Brenda M.

This is my favorite new place in the food court at the mall! I made the brilliant decision to stop here and grab some takeout after a few hours of successful shopping! You get to customize your order on the spot. All of the ingredients were super fresh and there are a ton to choose from. At first the price seems expensive but then when you see the bucket your salad comes in, and the number of people that will serve the price makes sense. I also ordered the Caldo de Queso, which is pictured here. This soup on its own is a filling meal with small diced potatoes, green chilis, and cubed Mexican white cheese (not sure what kind) with a very flavorful broth. Just the right kind of spicy. This will definitely be a new regular stop for me both when I visit the mall and when I feel like having a delicious salad with soup!

If you're looking for a filling salad this is the place! They have 2 size options, 3 green options and you can pick a protein for a little extra $$. The salad bar items are fresh and you can get up to 6 choices, all toppings included and dressings. I went with the romaine greens base and the lemon pepper chicken, delicious and nutritious!

Spicy Bird sandwich and boneless chicken wings

Ordered tonight off Uber Eats (which advertises it as Bird-n-Bun, because of the deals that were offered. I ordered the bogo spicy bird sandwiches and boneless fried chicken wings. The sandwiches (although really spicy) blows chick fil a away. They were great sized and juicy and delicious. Next time I'll try the less spicy version though. The wings or chicken tenders are perfect size and fresh chicken tenders. Lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Plenty of food left over for lunch tomorrow which I'll be looking forward to as well. Superb value and great chicken.

Spicy Chicken Tenders, ranch dressing, and chipotle ranch dressing
    Richard H.

First time trying and didn't know what to order but Oscar was very helpful and said I should try the Spicy Tenders. Those are about as good as any I've had anywhere. The chipotle ranch is tasty and the tenders are big and spicy for real, not just spicy colored. I actually showed them off so now all my co-workers are impressed and heading en masse to Salad Nation, scratching their heads as to why a place called Salad Nation slams the chicken tender game. Also opted for the waffle fries. I liked them with their ranch dressing. I'll be going back again soon!

Had my first Crispy Chicken Sandwich yesterday @ Salad Nation. I can say w/o hesitation, that was the BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had. The breading was heavy and delicious but the chicken patty was so juicy and tender that I was surprised. I had my first Chick-Fil-A last week and Salad Nation far surpassed what they offered. If you haven't tried this place, treat yourself, you won't be disappointed. Omar was very friendly and told me all about the business and how they prepare their food. A great experience and I will definitely be back. Thanks, Omar and staff.

I was so excited to be in town just for 4 hours for a doc appts and couldn't wait to grab a snack…read moreat eegee's while I was in Tucson. I placed and order online so I could stop by and scoop it up on my way to my appt. After waiting 15 minutes I went inside to pick up my food only to see nobody at the counter, some workers passed me by but didn't acknowledge me as a patron standing there waiting for someone to grab my order. There was nobody in the drive thru either so I almost went through the drive through to pick it up but wasn't sure of that was proper protocol for a pickup order. Although I was in a hurry to get back on the road across town to get to my doc appt, I figured it would be safer to just park, run in, grab it, and go. But when I walked in, at around 3:25pm, it was really quiet and Perry dead inside. So when two employees saw me, made eye contact, and kept walking away without a word I suddenly was concerned about the work ethic of this establishment. Then I see 3 different women employees kicking a bucket in the back and laughing. One sees me, which I found out later was a manger named Arianna, made eye contact, and turned around and walked back towards the back without saying anything. I then continued to wait another couple minutes until she eventually came back out and said, "can I help you?" Yeah I have a pickup order. She says, "oh, I'll get that right out for you." With a look of surprise. Not let me grab your order but I'll get that right out for you. Which I assumed meant, she had no idea a ticket was even printed because they were all messing around in the back. I then see her start to put my order together. There was a ticket sitting up front at the register with my order but she never looked at it. So I assume there was a ticket in the back kitchen for her to know what I ordered. Then another employee comes up and asks what eegee I ordered. I tell her. So she started to pack my eegee. I ordered a bigee because I never get to come to eegee's as I live out of town. The eegee wasn't even filled properly. There was a huge air pocket on the center of the cup. So when I got to my appt, I grabbed coffee spoon at their beverage station and packed the eegee down, it was about 2/3rds full. They were also out of strawberry which was annoying as well. After waiting an additional 9 minutes for them to rush my order out, I head to my car. Check my order and I'm missing the buffalo fries, utensils, straws, spoons, napkins, the side of ranch. Then the manager proceeded to come out to the parking lot with my fries and started arguing with me. Telling me she's the type of person who likes to start the order once the customer arrives, telling me she didn't see the ticket, she a specific type of person this and that. So then I should have just gone through the drive through and it would have been faster? What's the point of placing the order ahead of time for pickup if you don't make it until the customer is there to pick up their order. So it took 25 minutes from the time I ordered to get my order and it was still missing items and the order was rushed and fell flat. Arianna then proceeds to give me excuse after excuse instead of just taking accountability that they were messing around in the back and not paying attention to tickets coming in. I tell her I now am going to be late for my appt and I won't have time to eat my food. No apology. She then throws her hand up in my face and says "do whatever you want." Not even sure what that means as I didn't threaten to leave a review or ask her for anything. Can't believe a manager goes out to the parking lot to argue with customers. I was shocked in disbelief. So unprofessional and horrible work ethic. Eegee's has gone downhill so badly over the years. It's a shame. No wonder so many are closing permanently. I was so excited and it turned out to be so disappointing. I thought this was the last good location and clearly that is not the case.

My order was taken promptly, I walked into the store rather then drive through. I was the only…read morecustomer waiting and 3 other were enjoying their food in an empty restaurant. It took 4 employees standing around and 10 minutes to make a half a turkey sandwich. The sandwich was good, bread fresh, decent amount of lettuce/pickles/tomato. They charged me $0.75 extra for house dressing instead of Mayo. The total bill for a 6 inch Turkey and provolone was $7.79. So not really expensive. I would stop again if I had a bunch of time but for a quick lunch while at work-- I'd likely go elsewhere.

There's some outdoor seating; the bar is right by the entrance and the rest is a fairly spacious dining room. The host and my server were very nice and attentive. The burger was super juicy and I was surprised by how well the bun held up, nothing disintegrated and the burger toppings did not fall out with each bite. The garlic fries were covered in garlic, the potatoes were fried well and were not oily or soggy. I did order the cookie butter banana pie to go and should have taken a picture of it prior to driving off because when I got home, the pie had fallen and melted a bit. The flavors of caramel and butter were a little bit stronger than the banana, but it wasn't too rich and I paired it with some coffee, it was all really good. Our waiter was kind, but the service was a bit inconsistent throughout the meal. The outdoor seating is a nice option, especially on a beautiful evening, though the cushions could definitely use some refreshing and cleaning. Now, food-wise, it was a mixed experience. My husband ordered the Baja Shrimp Sandwich, which felt more like an appetizer than a full entrée. I had a salad with added salmon--it was fresh and well-prepared, and the salmon itself was cooked perfectly, but the portion of salmon was tiny and didn't feel worth the added cost. My teenager enjoyed the Early Riser burger with a side salad. The truffle fries were solid, but the side salad felt overpriced for what it was. Overall, the experience just didn't quite match the price point. I really wanted to like it more, and it's honestly surprising to me that, with the same ownership as Graze, the experience felt so different.

We three, actually loved everything about AMELIAS. Us three (*let's just call them "the cool ones"), were wowed by the taste of our food and noted that the plate presentations were kinda cool-- and a little "more-fancy" than what is typically placed down upon the table at your typical Mexican food restaurants. AMELIAS adds a bit of "pizazz" and "decorum" to their menu items--like edible flowers that float in your margarita, or wavy lines of crema that dance on the seas of flavorful sauces that accompany the tamales, 'chiladas, and relleno plates served here. Three-forths of us also noted how attentive and friendly those who served us were. And... we (the cool ones) also all noticed how the warm, cheerful, and welcoming ambiance and decor of the place added to the enjoyment of our meal. (*Play Debbie-downer walk-up music) One in our group...(dramatic pause)... was notably quiet and reserved when it was her turn to rave about her dish. This person, smiled and shared that she thought her food was, "pretty good." But, now that I think about it...her praise was kinda limited, and she, indeed, was a bit reticent. I would find out later, as we lay in bed that night, that one in our group had not enjoyed her meal as much the other three had. Apparently, the cheese and chicken enchiladas dish that was ordered was not to this person's liking, and she added that she thought the service was "just okay". Not wanting to bring-down the mood of the evening, this person played along and didn't criticize. Now, I am not trained in psychology, but if feels like...(how do I put this delicately?)... okay. (*the writer thinks for a bit). Sometimes... when one in our party does not get to pick the restaurant that we are going to try, it seems to me... that...(dramatic pause as I try to find just the right words to say this).. I seems to me... that...This person is just, "not going to enjoy" the place that was picked, no matter how good it is. There! I said it. And while I'm on the subject... your mom is just like this too. And now you know the rest of my story. Let's summarize: AMELIAS is a very good restaurant and you will enjoy the heck out of your meal. Unless, of course, you insist on being the one who picks where your group goes out to eat-- and you don't get your way. Then, you will find it to be, "pretty good", but complain about it later in bed. (I know this is supposed to be a restaurant review, and not a mini-soap opera. But I hope you enjoyed our little dive into the phycology of relationships.) Until next time, this is the guy who will be sleeping on the couch for a night or two if my beloved happens to read this. (lol--she will find humor in this...and, of course, disagree with my "junior-phycologist" interpretation of why she thought Amelias was just okay. )

Wow, wow, wow!! We were craving Mexican while traveling and stopped by on a Saturday night. You…read moreknow it's gonna be good when folks are waiting outside to be seated. The food was creative while maintaining that fabulous fresh, handmade Mexican flavor profile. Absolutely delicious! Pricing landed somewhere in the $$ amount per person including beverage and appetizer. Very fair for the level of hand-crafting going into every dish. We didn't have a reservation (highly recommend getting one for busy times) and were happy to sit where they could fit us. Our server Louie was EXCELLENT. He walked us through the entire menu in 3 minutes and we felt confident ordering. He also suggested an amazing appetizer featuring chilies stuffed with cheese and shrimp and wrapped in bacon . I ordered the Fajitas Mixtas for my main as I wanted to try several meats. Hubby ordered the shrimp enchiladas with both green and red sauce. Both were beautiful and delicious. I also tried the mocktail that had prickly pear puree. It was delicious and refreshing. The menu had options available for folks seeking Gluten Free, too. Amelia's was decked out with modern, slightly edgy decor that was welcoming and exciting. Seating for wheelchair users could easily be accommodated by dining table chair removal. The Oracle Street location isn't huge, but the staff does a fantastic job getting folks in and you won't feel cramped. I could definitely see the place needing to expand due to popularity someday soon. Go and you won't regret it. This has made the list for returning to the next time we're in town!
