I have been wanting to try them for the longest time and I'm glad I was able to grab them a few minutes before they were closing. Do check their hours before to head out. I'm pretty sure they close at 4:00 pm daily. Now let's get the the sandwich. Super fluffy egg tucked in a Japanese bread with creme fraiche, egg club home sauce and then the add ons make each sandwich different from another. I tried the classic and egg club. The first one is their basic with chili sauce and parsley where as the later one has the main ingredients plus balsamic onions and Swiss cheese. The other sandwiches for the most ones have bacon in them. They also have one with corn and another with guacamole. Both the sandwiches I picked were freshly made-the eggs were made to perfection and the bread is to die for. I loved their home sauce. I guess there isn't anything I didn't like about the place and their food. The pricing is between $5-$7 plus tax. The sandwiches and huge and pretty filling. The customer serve was great. This was the best breakfast I've had in a long time!!! When I tell y'all that the egg was egging, I am NOT lying. The hashbrowns were so perfect I would commit to going everyday just to eat those. Just when you thought there is a limit to how good a breakfast sandwich can get. I mean, it's just the same ingredients (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) between some form of bread, isn't it? Well, no, because I discovered Egg Club and they blew me away. All of the ingredients complimented each other perfectly. Every sandwich they make comes out looking carefully crafted. They are very consistent. The egg is a thick Japanese omelette, which is one of their differences, the bread they use is unique, and then additions such as their mayo truly set them apart. We happened to find an Airbnb around the corner from Egg Club. I was excited to find it so close to our place, so I had to try it out. I walked in and found the restaurant to be for to go food only. I checked out the menu and decided to order a guacamole, meat lovers, and ham and cheese sandwich. I also ordered the hash browns . I waited for less than 5 minutes and my food was up. I walked back to our place to try it all. When we got back, we found the sandwiches perfectly wrapped. They looked great coming out of the bag. I grabbed my meat lovers egg sandwich and chowed down. I enjoyed the flavors and textures of the sandwich. The milk bread was very soft and really made for a great egg sandwich. The guacamole my girlfriend had was not her favorite. She said the guacamole was a little sweet and didn't appear to be freshly made. We split the ham and cheese and really enjoyed it. The hash browns were interesting. They had a scoop of mashed potatoes in the middle of a folded in half hash brown. Tasty flavor and interesting texture contrast. Overall, I enjoyed our meal. I loved the meat lovers and the ham & cheese. The guacamole wasn't my girlfriend's favorite, so hopefully they can improve on that. Dang, this place is five star GOODness. It's near the Ryerson/Dundas+Church area and was easy enough to find. We were greeted by the entire team, who were very welcoming: "WELCOME - GOOD MORNING - HELLO!". We ordered the BLT and the Bacon and Cheese, both were beautifully made and tasted "OH SO GOOD". I have flagged visiting Egg Club for months. It is known for fluffy egg sandwiches using Japanese milk bread. It was a Sunday afternoon. I rarely go out on Sundays. I had an errand to run on the Danforth. I decided afterwards to head downtown and pay Egg Club a visit. I needed lunch. Over the years, I have spent a lot of time around Church and Dundas Street East. I parked just around the corner from Egg Club when there was a parking lot. I dropped by frequently when I attended concerts at Massey Hall. This lot has since gone away in favour of a condo development. I saw a woman pull up to Egg Club and fetch her order. I didn't want to risk getting a parking ticket and wanted to take my time figuring out what has changed in this neighbourhood. I parked at a lot across from this eatery and walked over. Egg Club is where Subway used to be. I ate at this Subway before heading over to Massey Hall. The convenient store a few businesses down from Egg Club is still here. I placed my order through Ritual. I got two egg sandwiches: - Meat lovers - Bacon and cheese When I walked in, I was greeted by all seven friendly staff members working behind the counter. I swear that they were over-caffeinated, although they may naturally have that much energy. They woke me up. Their energy and enthusiasm were highly contagious. I indicated that I had a Ritual order. They all pointed to my paper bag on the left. I seriously felt like I was at either a concert or a soccer match. I thanked everyone who brought a smile behind my masked face and left with my goodies. I recommend eating one sandwich. I was hungry and ate two. I was so full afterwards that I took a nap to wear off the carb coma and didn't want anything for dinner that evening. Each sandwich has a load of ingredients. I started with the meat lovers, which consists of egg, a smoked sausage patty, chipotle mayo, thick-cut bacon, and special sauce. The Japanese milk bread is sliced three-quarters down. You then get the sandwich filling inside. Pro: Your sandwich stands up. Con: You end up eating it like a child with everything in your sandwich falling out. The thick-cut bacon is amazing. Each slice is generous in size and tastes so good. The egg is indeed fluffy. The chipotle mayo and special Egg Club sauce kick this sandwich up several notches of heightened flavour. The downside was the Japanese milk bread. I love thick-cut bread. It wasn't as soft as I would have liked it to have been. I needed a beverage to help me down it. Perhaps it was a Sunday and they used yesterday's bread? Other than that, I loved my sandwich. I then had the bacon and cheese sandwich. It had a cream chilli sauce that added a zingy kick to the sandwich. The bacon was yummy. The cheese tried to hold everything together. Thank goodness I ate these sandwiches at home. It wasn't a pretty site. This eatery has hashbrowns, but they were sold out when I had placed my order. Bummer! I will return and give them a try. A very cute spot by Dundas/Church with amazing service. We placed our order and was quoted 10 minutes but we waited less than 5 minutes outside the shop. Ordered Egg Club and Bacon & Cheese with one hash brown. The hash brown was a nice starter. With the whole work from home situation, it is rare that I go downtown nowadays. Egg Club had been on my to try list for a while and now I finally get to try it! The staff was very friendly and recommended the meat lover sandwich, which they said was their most popular item. Their prices are reasonable where their classic sandwich is only $5.70 (+ tax)! I decided to try Egg Club late Monday morning. I ordered off a pick up app on my phone to avoid the wait as these sandwiches do take about 30 min to make. As soon as I made my order, I was notified the egg and ham sandwich I wanted was sold out! I decided to reorder by getting the classic egg sandwich again. 30 min later I arrived at Egg Club and my order was ready to go. Super easy pick up! Would recommend ordering prior to going as there were at least 8-10 people in the small eatery when I arrived (they were either waiting to order or waiting for their orders). Since this is primarily a takeout spot, the staff did a great job in keeping the sandwich packed nicely. All sandwiches are in a small box with some parchment paper. There was even a plastic wrap at the top of my sandwich to keep it from spilling! Onto the sandwich. Firstly, I have to admit it makes for a great Instagram photo (haha). That being said, the sandwich lived up to the hype. The Japanese milk bread they use is slightly sweet but holds the sandwich in place. Simply Overrated. Let's start by saying that we were the second people in line outside of the store and we waited over an hour before we got our order. I understand that restaurants like to fulfill food app orders over in-person orders first, however, this wait time was just absurd. When we finally got our sandwiches, they looked absolutely delicious. But let's break it down. First off, they like to turn the sandwiches vertically so you can get that perfect instagram shot, however, this also means that they like to lay on most of the sauce only on the side facing up. This doesn't really make much sense because when you're eating the sandwich you want the sauce to be equally distributed and not falling out of the front/top. The bread is nice and soft, lightly toasted and the eggs are really fluffy and creamy which is good, and as expected since they are called 'Egg' Club afterall. Let's have a closer look at each sandwich: 1) Creamy Corn Salsa. The worst one by a landslide. The homemade corn salsa/sour cream was really cold and pretty bland, basically adding no dimension to the sandwich whatsoever. The toppings were also overflowing out of the top and we were given a fork to eat this one. Why give me a sandwich that I have to then dissect with a fork as all of the toppings fall out of the sandwich? And not even a good sandwich at that. 2) Meat Lovers. I was really excited for this one, because what's not to love about a smoked sausage patty and thick cut bacon in your breakfast sandwich? But this one was just too heavy, needed something to balance out all that heaviness from the meat and just tasted like smoke. Overall, just an ok sandwich. 3) Egg Club. The best one by far. The Balsamic Onion was really tasty, added a nice sweetness and acidity to the sandwich. The swiss cheese was also a great pairing to the onion. Really well balanced sandwich and I would recommend it. Looks pretty, but otherwise I was super disappointed. I decided to come Visit here as I was downtown on Saturday afternoon around 2pm as I kept seeing Instagram pictures of this place. To my surprise there was no line at all! I got the bacon and cheese and my boyfriend got the ham and cheese. Both were really good. This place deserves the hype!!! These egg sandwiches are soo good - both the egg and the bread are super fluffy and the toppings pair so well! You can tell the sandwiches are prepared well but the only downside is that they make the sandwiches so that they photograph well -- in the carton, the bottom is pretty empty with everything being concentrated at the top so it can get quite messy to eat :/ If you go, be prepared to wait in line! The eggs are cooked fresh to order and the demand is high so I ended up waiting almost half an hour but it was definitely worth it! read more

Egg Club had been in my radar for a while, and I'm glad that finally I managed to give it a try. The store is located just East of Dundas Square. The menu consists of a variety of egg breakfast sandwiches, one side and beverage options. In my first visit, I opted for the Meat Lovers (smoked sausage patty, chipotle mayo, thick cut bacon, egg club sauce) and an Egg Club Hash Brown (honey with special potato sauce). The egg sandwich was absolutely fantastic! The Japanese milk bread was light and had a lovely texture. The egg was fluffy and tasty, and created a symphony of flavors when combined with the sausage patty, thick cut bacon and chipotle mayo. I could not be happier with such a great tasting sandwich. The hash brown was the perfect size as a side; it was crunchy, had a nice hint of herbs and the honey added a sweet punch to it. In my second visit I ordered the Creamy Corn Salsa (homemade corn salsa, sour cream, creamy chili sauce, egg club sauce) and the Bacon & Cheese (thick cut bacon, cheddar cheese, creamy chili sauce, egg club sauce). I love places where they are able to maintain consistent quality of their products. The egg and Japanese milk bread were as good as the first time. The creamy corn salsa was yummy and went really well with the breakfast sandwich. I was expecting to be blown away by the Bacon & Cheese one as well, but out of the three sandwiches, it was my least favorite. The cheese didn't seem to add much to it; if you are considering the Bacon & Cheese, I'd suggest going big and ordering the Meat Lovers instead for the ultimate experience! Service was 10/10! When you enter, the staff greets you and makes you feel welcome. My first visit was during a weekday, when they were not very busy and the experience surpassed my expectations. My second visit was on the weekend, and they were insanely busy; there was an issue with my order, but it was addressed superbly well; kudos for the outstanding customer service.
