Our sandwiches were assembled and cooked to perfection. You could really tell they put a lot of care into each one. The egg was fluffy and a little runny. Bread soft and milky sweet. This place deserves the hype!!! These egg sandwiches are soo good - both the egg and the bread are super fluffy and the toppings pair so well! You can tell the sandwiches are prepared well but the only downside is that they make the sandwiches so that they photograph well -- in the carton, the bottom is pretty empty with everything being concentrated at the top so it can get quite messy to eat :/ If you go, be prepared to wait in line! Egg Club had been in my radar for a while, and I'm glad that finally I managed to give it a try. The store is located just East of Dundas Square. The menu consists of a variety of egg breakfast sandwiches, one side and beverage options. In my first visit, I opted for the Meat Lovers (smoked sausage patty, chipotle mayo, thick cut bacon, egg club sauce) and an Egg Club Hash Brown (honey with special potato sauce). The egg sandwich was absolutely fantastic! The Japanese milk bread was light and had a lovely texture. The egg was fluffy and tasty, and created a symphony of flavors when combined with the sausage patty, thick cut bacon and chipotle mayo. I could not be happier with such a great tasting sandwich. The hash brown was the perfect size as a side; it was crunchy, had a nice hint of herbs and the honey added a sweet punch to it. In my second visit I ordered the Creamy Corn Salsa (homemade corn salsa, sour cream, creamy chili sauce, egg club sauce) and the Bacon & Cheese (thick cut bacon, cheddar cheese, creamy chili sauce, egg club sauce). I love places where they are able to maintain consistent quality of their products. The egg and Japanese milk bread were as good as the first time. The creamy corn salsa was yummy and went really well with the breakfast sandwich. I was expecting to be blown away by the Bacon & Cheese one as well, but out of the three sandwiches, it was my least favorite. The cheese didn't seem to add much to it; if you are considering the Bacon & Cheese, I'd suggest going big and ordering the Meat Lovers instead for the ultimate experience! Service was 10/10! When you enter, the staff greets you and makes you feel welcome. My first visit was during a weekday, when they were not very busy and the experience surpassed my expectations. My second visit was on the weekend, and they were insanely busy; there was an issue with my order, but it was addressed superbly well; kudos for the outstanding customer service. I can definitely say that I have joined the EGG CLUB FAM and I'm obsessed with their egg sandwiches! Egg club is has arguably one of the best egg sandwich in Toronto - I'm patiently waiting for someone else to comment on their favourite sammie and I'll go and visit. This meal was amazing and EGGciting to eat! My family and I drove for almost an hour to try Egg Club out and it was worth it.  --  Their BLT sandwich and Egg Club Hash Brown were like a party in my mouth!    BLT: Classic Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich. Also comes with their fluffy egg filling, their special homemade and egg club sauce. This sandwich was filled with bursts of flavour from savoury to sweet especially the bread. They did a great job with balancing the sweet and savoury ingredients.    Egg Club Hash Brown: This was an interesting take on hash browns. They were crunchy, sweet and so tasty. Was super excited to try out these decked out egg sandwiches after seeing so many pictures and hype on IG.. while the sandwich was good, it fell short of my expectations. I was already expecting the sandwich to be a bit sweet given some reviews I've read, which is why I opted for the meat lover hoping that the sausage and bacon will balance that out. It was PERFECTLY sweet the first couple bites with the chipotle mayo, but the chipotle mayo was only at the top? And the rest of the toppings?? I would like to preface this review by saying that I love eggs, so the concept of this restaurant was already right up my alley. *FOOD* I've tried three of their menu items: 1) The guacamolic 2) The bacon and cheese 3) The BLT Across the board, the quality and taste is impeccable. The packaging was great, I brought back the takeout and consumed after about 20 minutes. The sandwiches were still quite warm and did not need reheating. The plastic film used to seal the sandwich to the box is in genius and kept the sandwich intact without making it soggy. *CUSTOMER SERVICE* I came here on Sunday morning to order some takeout. The staff instantly greeted me with such bright energy and friendliness! There were 8-10 staff working and they seemed to be super busy, but they were attentive nonetheless! *RESTAURANT* I loved the brightly painted yellow walls with abstract vector paintings of fruit and vegetables. There are only good things to say about this place. Hands down, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Big portions, affordable and so filling - I had it at 11am and it left me satiated until night! We had the Egg Club, BLT and the Meat Lovers sandwich. Each sandwich had the perfect ratio of its own unique ingredients to sauces. The folded eggs paired so well with the Japanese milk bread - both so soft and fluffy, it was like biting into a cloud. If you want something near Ryerson or St Michael's hospital for breakfast or brunch or lunch, this place is just the perfect walking distance! Their egg sandwiches are so good! The staff are super friendly. They welcome you and make sure you're having a great time, even while waiting for your order. They have an open cooking concept, so you can watch them make your order and assemble your sandwich. These eggs are so fluffy yet creamy, it blows your mind. Imagine that wrapped in a pillowy Japanese milk buns. OMG! I'm drooling! I have been already a two time returning customer and despite moving away from that area, I persist to drive to go to Egg Club for their undeniable, tasty and fluffy egg sandwiches. First of all, I want to note on their exceptional services! The first time I went, I called in 5-10 minutes earlier stating I was in the way and ordered quickly to get it to go. They were able to accommodate so quickly and I got my food as soon as I got there nice and hot! The second time I went, there was a mistake on my billing but in the end they were able to provide me with a free meal (in which I insisted on paying after because I want to support them). On both occasions, they were able to accommodate with different situations and provide me with their great service. I got the BELT sandwich, the meat lovers sandwich, the ham and cheese sandwich and their hash browns. I would say that my most favourite part of the combo is definitely the hash brown and I would literally return just for that. It was a crispy hash brown folded in half with a creamy, lemon aioli mash potato on the inside. It is impossible to recreate at home and definitely such a highlight and good appetizer! I would suggest you all to try that for sure ! I love both the sandwiches we got! To be honest, my most favorite sandwich of all was the BLT because it had a good balance with the tomatoes, and the lettuce and the bacon. However overall, the main highlight of the sandwich is definitely the fluffy eggs. I came here for a late lunch a few days ago after seeing all the hype online. I ordered the egg club for about $7 and an iced coffee for about $2. Starting with the egg club, it was very messy! I definitely think it would've been easier to eat if I was sitting down at a table, but due to covid I had to eat on the street which was a bit of a mistake. The sandwich itself was decent, but I'm not sure if it was worth all the hype. It tastes like scrambled eggs and cheese inside of a sandwich made with bread and butter. I feel like I could've made this at home and gotten a similar flavour, but the presentation here is definitely better than anything you could do at home. Overall since it was only $7 I'm not complaining but I next time I would probably try a different sandwich. The iced coffee was honestly a bit disappointing. I was excited that it was only $2 but I realized they literally just poured brewed black coffee over ice and served it. No sugar, milk, or beverage base. I have been wanting to try Egg Club for the longest time, but was always apprehensive when the description mentioned a sweeter bread as the outer layer, as I like my breakfast to be salty rather than sweet. Really enjoyed this new Japanese egg sandwich joint in downtown Toronto! This new brunch spot is near the Eaton Centre and their main star is the many varieties of egg sandwiches you can get. They all looked so amazing but we decided to get the Classic option which includes Japanese milk bread, very fluffy eggs topped with cream egg club sauce and parsley. Their other options contain extras like bacon, cheese and ham. Even though this is a new spot it looks like they already have quite a few die hard fans. There were two people in front of us in line and after we joined the queue more people came to line up behind us. There is no seating available so we waited outside for them to call our number. Since they are made fresh to order, the total wait was about 10 to 15 minutes. This was an egg-cellent sandwich. Simply Overrated. Let's start by saying that we were the second people in line outside of the store and we waited over an hour before we got our order. I understand that restaurants like to fulfill food app orders over in-person orders first, however, this wait time was just absurd. When we finally got our sandwiches, they looked absolutely delicious. But let's break it down. First off, they like to turn the sandwiches vertically so you can get that perfect instagram shot, however, this also means that they like to lay on most of the sauce only on the side facing up. This doesn't really make much sense because when you're eating the sandwich you want the sauce to be equally distributed and not falling out of the front/top. The bread is nice and soft, lightly toasted and the eggs are really fluffy and creamy which is good, and as expected since they are called 'Egg' Club afterall. Let's have a closer look at each sandwich: 1) Creamy Corn Salsa. The worst one by a landslide. The homemade corn salsa/sour cream was really cold and pretty bland, basically adding no dimension to the sandwich whatsoever. The toppings were also overflowing out of the top and we were given a fork to eat this one. Why give me a sandwich that I have to then dissect with a fork as all of the toppings fall out of the sandwich? And not even a good sandwich at that. 2) Meat Lovers. I was really excited for this one, because what's not to love about a smoked sausage patty and thick cut bacon in your breakfast sandwich? But this one was just too heavy, needed something to balance out all that heaviness from the meat and just tasted like smoke. Overall, just an ok sandwich. 3) Egg Club. The best one by far. The Balsamic Onion was really tasty, added a nice sweetness and acidity to the sandwich. The swiss cheese was also a great pairing to the onion. Really well balanced sandwich and I would recommend it. Looks pretty, but otherwise I was super disappointed. Egg club takes on a whole new level of breakfast sandwiches. It's elevated and will no doubt leave you satisfied and potentially ready for a nap. Got the BLT and avocado sandwich when we stopped in. Line up wasn't overly crazy, about a 15 minute wait or so. Being in the heart of Toronto, we ordered, went for a quick walk to pick up some other dessert items and came back ready to eat. The egg is really light and fluffy, the real star in my opinion is the bread. Really nicely toasted but also soft and has some sweet notes that really compliment the rest of this eggy masterpiece. We enjoyed The Classic the most, it was simply their signature scrambled eggs paired with their house sauces. What sets this place apart is that they use fluffy Japanese milk bread instead of a brioche bun, and their sauces are sweet! Their hash browns are to die for! It is one crispy hash brown cut in half with a peppery soft mashed potato sandwiches in between... yum! The line is quite long, since they are newly opened and on BlogTO lol. Our food was packaged in a paper box/holder for the sandwich with a plastic wrap on top to prevent spillage (so thoughtful)! And the staff even explained to us how best to use their packaging to help with eating the sandwich, which was such a kind gesture! THE place for an indulgent breakfast sando! All the sandwiches are made with Japanese milk bread, fluffy folded egg, and their egg club sauce. I tried both the Classic & the Egg Club, which are both delicious. But I think the Balsamic caramelized onions in the Egg Club makes it the one to get! I also asked to have them add their creamy chilli sauce to the sandwich - which, I think, makes it even better and helps cut through all that richness and sweetness. Yum! I initially heard about them on Tiktok so I had to try it. It easily passed my expectations! The menu is not that huge which is nice and even though I just tried 2 of their foods, it seems like the rest of the menu is very nice too.
