Egg Club has several locations within the city of Toronto, however, this particular location is near Yonge/Wellesley (along Yonge). The shop serves their famous egg sandwiches in fluffy white toasted bread. I've had Egg Club before at another location so it was nice to stop by here in the morning before work to grab breakfast. Plus I wanted to redeem my free birthday sandwich so this location being along the subway line seemed like the best stop. They also open early (at 7am on the weekdays!) so if you need to grab breakfast somewhere early, this is the place. I stopped by this location of Egg Club on a Monday morning around 8am. The store is primarily take out only although there is a small bench at the front of the store if you'd like to eat your food there. Looking at the menu I opted for a BLT (thick cut bacon, tomato, lettuce, homemade ketchup, and egg club sauce - I also added cheddar cheese for at an additional cost). The staff were friendly and efficient where my sandwich was made at a reasonable time (only had to wait about 3-5 min!). The sandwich was nicely packed in a bag where the top of the sandwich was also covered in a plastic wrap to avoid it from spilling anywhere. I brought my sandwich to work and happily had my breakfast. The bread was fluffy and toasted which worked well with the egg, bacon, and lettuce. Although the bottom of the sandwich is just all bread, I enjoyed the filling sandwich which kept me full for the entire morning. The egg club sauce with the egg was great. Overall, a solid spot for breakfast sandwiches in the city! If you haven't tried Egg Club you definitely have to! read more

I have been meaning to try Egg Club for the longest time since I've heard from friends that their egg sandwich & hash brown was really good. I had a chance to try today and was not really impressed! First off, the staff were not welcoming and friendly (especially the guy with glasses). And although I was the first customer my order took way longer than expected, 20 mins to be exact. The place is also small, tight and have uncomfortable seating so it makes sense just to order to go. The Classic Sandwich with White Sauce was far from being a gourmet sandwich. There was minimal sauce on the sandwich that at one point all I'm eating is a bland, unseasoned scrambled eggs. The milk bread is not as fluffy and pillowy soft as it should be. I bake Shokupan bread all the time and even when toasted should be moist and tender which is not the case with Egg Club's bread. Not also a fan of their version of the hash brown. The potato mixture in between is cloyingly sweet and doesn't complement the salty/crispiness of the hash brown. At the end of the day, this is just a glorified egg sandwich and nothing else. Trying once is enough and you can literally make this at home for yourself that would come pretty close (or even better) to replicating the exact flavour of these sandwiches.o read more

Cool atmosphere but not really a dine in kinda spot. You can maybe have a seat if you're a quick eater but it's not gonna be a tight one. Ordered the original egg sandwich with turkey ham( the BEST turkey ham option I've had at a restaurant - not the craft paper one- you know the one ) and a hash brown. I loved the food but the hash brown was really special to me for some reason. It's like not expected and soooo good. If you don't get anything else, get a hash brown. Will update with pictures next time( scarfed it ). For the portions - which I hope they don't change.... I would say it was worth the almost $13. I ate here while on vacation and it was delicious. The location was more of an order-to-go place since there was only seating for maybe a handful of people. The bread used for the sandwiches was soft and made for a yummy breakfast sandwich. I ate the Bacon & Cheese which was both delicious and filling. It was unique to have a larger slice of bread cut mostly down the middle and the ingredients stuffed inside. By not cutting all the way through the bread, the ingredients stayed put within the sandwich and the way it was packed was great since we took it to go. I was curious about this sandwich place. I'm glad I tried it. The food was delicious. I tried the BLT and their popular hash browns. The bread was fluffy and the ingredients were cooked to perfection. I'd come back again. The place is small and I don't think you have a restroom. There are some seating space but I saw crumbs on the seat so I opted to enjoy my sandwich at home. The packaging was also very good because I accidentally flipped the bag on sideways but the sandwich seemed intact. I appreciate the packaging of the sandwiches too, with a piece of plastic covering the top so the toppings dont fall out as you walk around. There was an abundance of mayo and chipotle sauce, so if you don't like saucier sandwiches or if you have a sensitive stomach, this may not be for you. However, it was flavourful and the bread was so soft. It really hit the spot on a cold winter day. One thing I miss about Taiwan is the readily available breakfast places everywhere with cheap eats done fast. A really decent egg sandwich at a reasonable price that comes with Japanese Milk Bread. The hash brown is a folded hash brown that comes with mashed potatoes between it. The mashed potato is a bit sweet. I've also tried the Chipotle Lobster (good but expensive) , the classic, and the creamy corn. My favorite is probably the classic followed by the creamy corn. The side was just okay and banana milk was a bit too sweet for me. Service was normal. Nothing fantastic about it. The space is very small. I immediately knew today would be a great day for grab and go brunch of which one of my all time favorites is egg club !! Their sandwiches are just so aesthetic and convenient to eat when you're on the go. My favorite is the Ham and Cheese, but today I opted to try something new and went for the Bacon and Cheese instead! I think I still prefer the Ham because it to compact bacon slices, and allows for better consistency of flavour overall!! When you come you MUST try their special hash browns which are made with sweet garlic mashed potatoes filling. So unique and tasty ! I've now been to all three of their locations in the gta which are mainly situated closer to the downtown core, so hoping that with their high popularity they'll open up a location more uptown soon!! read more

The second you walk in you are greeted by staff who seem very happy to be at work. The place is clean, seemed very well maintained and operated on a takeout basis only. You can see exactly how the staff is making your sandwich and that was very appealing to me. The menu is very straightforward and I got exactly what I ordered (creamy salsa sandwich). The sandwich was great and very flavourful but the only thing is that the bread was a bit dry (no big deal at all). We were wandering up Yonge Street as part of Open Streets TO and wanted to grab something quick for lunch, so Egg Club seemed like a good option. The place is take-out only, which suited us just fine because we had a dog with us. After a quick look at the menu, I decided to go with the joint's eponymous option, The Egg Club ("Balsamic Onion, Swiss Cheese, Creme Fraiche, Egg Club Sauce"). We were told it would be ready in 15 - 18 minutes, which seemed awfully specific, but accuracy is always preferable to bad guesses. We grabbed our food a short time later and it sure looked meticulously prepared. And my first bite told me that a lot of care went into the preparation of this sandwich. All the components work really well together, from the perfectly-cooked eggs to the irresistibly soft brioche bun to the plentiful swiss cheese. It's a rich sandwich that's ultimately too rich, in my opinion. There's nothing here to cut through the extreme richness, so it's just fat on fat on fat. I did, as a result, grow bored of the sandwich about halfway through, which is definitely not a good thing when it comes to any dish. This should tell you how rich and creamy the whole thing is: After I finished, I was craving something salty like a cracker or an olive or something. read more

The egg was fluffy and tasty, and created a symphony of flavors when combined with the sausage patty, thick cut bacon and chipotle mayo. It is a great tasting sandwich for a reasonable price. Service was OK. Easy TTC access, one block south of Wellesley subway station. Parking available at the TPA on Wellesley Street E. Since this is a take-out location, when the weather is nice, East Bay Park and Breadalbane Park are nice locations one block west where you can enjoy your food. I came here around 10:30AM to purchase two sandwiches. They were quite busy and it was great seeing the team work together to get all the orders out! The owner was cashing people out and he was also very friendly. I was told there was going to be a 10-15 minute wait so I returned back in exactly 15 minutes and it was prepared just in time. I got The Classic, Egg Club, and two hashbrowns. I tried The Classic which consisted of creme faiche, creamy chili sauce (had very subtle spice to me), parsley, and egg club sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the super fluffy egg! They definitely give you a decent amount. The sandwich was slightly sweet and the flavours were not overpowering. As a breakfast sandwich, it keeps you full for a while. The hashbrown was a little sandwich of two crispy hashbrown halves with sweet mashed potato in the middle. I thought it was an odd combination at first but I ended up liking it very much. No ketchup needed due to its standalone tastiness. Overall, it was a great experience. They packaged the sandwiches nicely and they were covered in a piece of plastic. I did not take very nice photos because by the time we had them, the sandwiches were smushed due to the rough transit (my fault). Though they still tasted great. Only improvement I'd suggest is for them to transition to more eco-friendly packaging (paper bags and paper coverings to their sandwiches). Egg Club seems to be the first to introduce egg sandwiches in the Toronto area. I finally made a trip over the weekend to their Wellesley location. It's definitely designed for takeout as there's a little counter where you order with the menu above similar to any fast food chain you visit. Along the wall, there's seats where people waited for their orders. I ordered the guacamolic sandwich which is their fluffy egg with smashed avocado with their sauce. It took about 15 minutes from order to when your sandwich is ready. The bread was really soft and had a little sweetness to it. Inside the sandwich is a big piece of their fluffy egg with smashed avocado with some of their sauce. They also have hash brown available. Their take on hashbrown is pretty unique! It's a thin hashbrown wrapped around mash (think tacos). They seasoned the mash and it tasted a little sweet to it which is pretty interesting and makes it really delicious! Staff was kind and attentive, the prices are great, and the egg sandwiches and flavor are amazing. I ordered The Classic which comes with Creme Fraiche, Creamy Chili Sauce, Parsley, Egg Club Sauce.
