Egg Club has several locations within the city of Toronto, however, this particular location is near Yonge/Wellesley (along Yonge). The shop serves their famous egg sandwiches in fluffy white toasted bread. I've had Egg Club before at another location so it was nice to stop by here in the morning before work to grab breakfast. Plus I wanted to redeem my free birthday sandwich so this location being along the subway line seemed like the best stop. They also open early (at 7am on the weekdays!) so if you need to grab breakfast somewhere early, this is the place. I stopped by this location of Egg Club on a Monday morning around 8am. The store is primarily take out only although there is a small bench at the front of the store if you'd like to eat your food there. Looking at the menu I opted for a BLT (thick cut bacon, tomato, lettuce, homemade ketchup, and egg club sauce - I also added cheddar cheese for at an additional cost). The staff were friendly and efficient where my sandwich was made at a reasonable time (only had to wait about 3-5 min!). The sandwich was nicely packed in a bag where the top of the sandwich was also covered in a plastic wrap to avoid it from spilling anywhere. I brought my sandwich to work and happily had my breakfast. The bread was fluffy and toasted which worked well with the egg, bacon, and lettuce. Although the bottom of the sandwich is just all bread, I enjoyed the filling sandwich which kept me full for the entire morning. The egg club sauce with the egg was great. Overall, a solid spot for breakfast sandwiches in the city! If you haven't tried Egg Club you definitely have to!
Got the classic egg sandwich here which is an addicting piece of milk bread with eggs cooked so perfectly with a sweet egg club sauce. Service is quick and friendly. Note this is a more takeout spot as there was no seating available inside.
This was a good breakfast option when I ended up staying in a hotel nearby this spot for a local stay. The space itself is small so not designed to eat there. I tried the drink and sandwich combo a few times and it went well. Like most decent Japanese chain food stores they use quality ingredients and do a thing and do it well. Good brioche and well cooked eggs. In also got the hash browns that are stuffed they went well. They are priced very reasonably as well and I would rather eat here than fast food options nearby
First time having this egg sandwich!! Came here for a quick bite before meeting for work. It was quiet, just a store front to order and pick up and go. It was convenient and close by. Big sandwich to hold me over until lunch. So many options I wish I could order them all!!!!
Went with the burger club and deluxe meat lovers to go. Starting with the bread, it's fluffy and holds well with a nice buttered toasty crunch. The eggs are airy and satisfying to bite into. Overall a portable breakfast sandwich to go and elevated from your typical bagel/sandwich. Package was nice and survived the commute.
I have been meaning to try Egg Club for the longest time since I've heard from friends that their egg sandwich & hash brown was really good. I had a chance to try today and was not really impressed! First off, the staff were not welcoming and friendly (especially the guy with glasses). And although I was the first customer my order took way longer than expected, 20 mins to be exact. The place is also small, tight and have uncomfortable seating so it makes sense just to order to go. The Classic Sandwich with White Sauce was far from being a gourmet sandwich. There was minimal sauce on the sandwich that at one point all I'm eating is a bland, unseasoned scrambled eggs. The milk bread is not as fluffy and pillowy soft as it should be. I bake Shokupan bread all the time and even when toasted should be moist and tender which is not the case with Egg Club's bread. Not also a fan of their version of the hash brown. The potato mixture in between is cloyingly sweet and doesn't complement the salty/crispiness of the hash brown. At the end of the day, this is just a glorified egg sandwich and nothing else. Trying once is enough and you can literally make this at home for yourself that would come pretty close (or even better) to replicating the exact flavour of these sandwiches.o

I loved the food but the hash brown was really special to me for some reason. It's like not expected and soooo good. If you don't get anything else, get a hash brown. Will update with pictures next time( scarfed it ). For the portions - which I hope they don't change.... I would say it was worth the almost $13. Better than the low execution of other breakfast choices.
Egg Cluc does live up to its slogan: delicious and affordable. This spot is just a small store and they only provide takeaway service. However, the quality of food is high. In addition, most of their items are below $10 before tax, which is appreciated regarding the crazy inflation situation we have now. Even you make them combo with hash brown and a drink, the price is similar to Macdonald's meals but the food of Egg Club is much more delicate. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs in the sandwiches very much and it's filling. Their hash brown is special. It has patato salad inside and it has aroma of garlic.
I ate here while on vacation and it was delicious. The location was more of an order-to-go place since there was only seating for maybe a handful of people. The bread used for the sandwiches was soft and made for a yummy breakfast sandwich. I ate the Bacon & Cheese which was both delicious and filling. It was unique to have a larger slice of bread cut mostly down the middle and the ingredients stuffed inside. By not cutting all the way through the bread, the ingredients stayed put within the sandwich and the way it was packed was great since we took it to go. If you are looking for a nice, filling, tasty breakfast sandwich, go to Egg Club!
I was curious about this sandwich place. I'm glad I tried it. The food was delicious. I tried the BLT and their popular hash browns. The bread was fluffy and the ingredients were cooked to perfection. I'd come back again. The place is small and I don't think you have a restroom. There are some seating space but I saw crumbs on the seat so I opted to enjoy my sandwich at home. The packaging was also very good because I accidentally flipped the bag on sideways but the sandwich seemed intact. You could try to flip it upside down and I think it's going to hold well but maybe try at your own risk. Service was excellent.
Love the simplicity of Egg Club. The staff are friendly and there isn't an overwhelming menu. Great breakfast or brunch spot to go. Conveniently located just outside of Wellesley Station. On Yonge Street South of Wellesley. The sandwiches are so delicious. I had a chance to try the egg club. It includes balsamic onion, swiss cheese, creme fraiche and egg club sauce. The bread is almost like a french toast and the eggs are so fluffy and delicious they are made just right. There are a couple of locations around the city. If you have an opportunity it's definitely a must try !
I keep hearing about this place and I had planned on purchasing a sandwich in the past, only to find out they were closed when i got there :( Finally had some redemption and was able to purchase a sandwich this time around. It's a small shop, purely designated for take out. Ordered 2 lobster chipotle sandwiches and they were made fresh and were delicious. I appreciate the packaging of the sandwiches too, with a piece of plastic covering the top so the toppings dont fall out as you walk around. There was an abundance of mayo and chipotle sauce, so if you don't like saucier sandwiches or if you have a sensitive stomach, this may not be for you. However, it was flavourful and the bread was so soft. It really hit the spot on a cold winter day. And although it's marketed for breakfast, who said we can't have egg sandwiches for lunch?
One thing I miss about Taiwan is the readily available breakfast places everywhere with cheap eats done fast. I am so glad I found Egg Club, the breakfast sandwiches here are delicious, from the bread, to the masterfully prepared eggs inside the sandwich. The price can't be beat. Pro tip: add smoked salmon to the Guacamolic sandwich for a delicious avocado and smoked salmon combo.

Very tasty fluffy egg sandwiches on Japanese milk bread. I got the bacon and cheese and added a tomato and it was excellent. I also got their signature hash brown which had a crispy exterior stuffed filled with savory, lightly sweetened mashed potatoes. I ordered online and it took about 3 minutes for the order to be ready - love that they have that option so you can skip the line should there be one. read more

was looking for a breakfast soot close to our hotel downtown. this place was walking distance, open, affordable. ordered: blt w/ hollandaise bacon & egg w/ hollandaise 2 hash browns sandwiches were THICCCCCC they were good but they knocked us out. we fell asleep for a few hours. the egg was very bouncy and fluffy. tbh i probably would have enjoyed a thinner carb. or perhaps one slice of milk bread would have been enough (for me), but thats just a personal preference. the hash browns are thin and not too crispy. i prefer mcdonalds hash browns. it was ok. i probably would t order it again though. read more

The finance absolutely loves breakfast foods and if you've been following my reviews for awhile, you would know he loves hole-in-the-walls and breakfast diners the best! We walked by the Egg Club and he was amazed there was a window serving his favorite things! He stopped by for breakfast one morning and came back with two sandwiches and a hashbrown! The bread was light and fluffy, the bacon and eggs cooked well.. though the sandwich smelled and tasted a bit too greasy for my liking. The sandwich also had a rich mayo based sauce, which I felt was a bit much, though I'm a plain Jane and like my bacon and egg sandwich plain; some people may argue the sauce keeps the sandwich moist. They had different sandwich options, including a ham and cheese if you don't like bacon! Bread is nice and thick, buttery.. reminded me of thick slices of Texas Toast! We liked the flavors, just wish the grease smell wasn't as strong and it didn't feel as greasy! Pretty nifty window for breakfast sandwiches though, if you're on the run! read more
Come here for a really decadent, filling egg sandwich. I had the Egg Club sandwich and the balsamic onion added great flavour to the fluffy egg. The bread was soft and almost had a sweet tinge to it which paired nicely with the saltier flavours in the rest of the sandwich. The portion looks small, but it's quite filling! If you're a fan of eggs, you'll love it here. read more

Got the - Egg Club ($7.89) - Hash Brown ($2.50) The "Egg Club" is the original sandwich and comes with grilled onions, sauce, egg, and cheese. A really decent egg sandwich at a reasonable price that comes with Japanese Milk Bread. The hash brown is a folded hash brown that comes with mashed potatoes between it. The mashed potato is a bit sweet. I've also tried the Chipotle Lobster (good but expensive) , the classic, and the creamy corn. My favorite is probably the classic followed by the creamy corn. This place can get busy though so expect a wait if you are going during peak hours. read more

I think I'm addicted to egg sandwiches lol. I don't remember what I got but I liked mine. It got a sweet kick to it. It was very fulfilling. The side was just okay and banana milk was a bit too sweet for me. Service was normal. Nothing fantastic about it. The space is very small. No seating area or anything so we ended up just standing while eat. It is pretty clean though. Located in a convenient spot. read more

I immediately knew today would be a great day for grab and go brunch of which one of my all time favorites is egg club !! Their sandwiches are just so aesthetic and convenient to eat when you're on the go. My favorite is the Ham and Cheese, but today I opted to try something new and went for the Bacon and Cheese instead! I think I still prefer the Ham because it to compact bacon slices, and allows for better consistency of flavour overall!! When you come you MUST try their special hash browns which are made with sweet garlic mashed potatoes filling. So unique and tasty ! I've now been to all three of their locations in the gta which are mainly situated closer to the downtown core, so hoping that with their high popularity they'll open up a location more uptown soon!! read more

The second you walk in you are greeted by staff who seem very happy to be at work. The place is clean, seemed very well maintained and operated on a takeout basis only. You can see exactly how the staff is making your sandwich and that was very appealing to me. The menu is very straightforward and I got exactly what I ordered (creamy salsa sandwich). The sandwich was great and very flavourful but the only thing is that the bread was a bit dry (no big deal at all). Overall, I loved my experience there and the icing on the cake was when I was leaving the all the workers (even the ones in the back) stopped and told me to have a great day :))))) read more

Egg Club on Yonge and Wellesley is a tiny cozy space offering delicious egg sandwiches for take-out. Their menu consists of a variety of egg breakfast sandwiches, one side and beverage options. At this location I ordered the Meat Lovers (smoked sausage patty, chipotle mayo, thick cut bacon, egg club sauce). The egg sandwich was as good as the one from their original location on Dundas St. The Japanese milk bread was light and had a lovely texture. The egg was fluffy and tasty, and created a symphony of flavors when combined with the sausage patty, thick cut bacon and chipotle mayo. It is a great tasting sandwich for a reasonable price. Service was OK. Easy TTC access, one block south of Wellesley subway station. Parking available at the TPA on Wellesley Street E. Since this is a take-out location, when the weather is nice, East Bay Park and Breadalbane Park are nice locations one block west where you can enjoy your food. TLDR; fairly priced delicious egg sandwiches read more

I was visiting Toronto and looked for breakfast places and Egg Club came up and looked delicious. I visited twice during my trip because it's that good! Staff was kind and attentive, the prices are great, and the egg sandwiches and flavor are amazing. I ordered The Classic which comes with Creme Fraiche, Creamy Chili Sauce, Parsley, Egg Club Sauce. I also ordered the hash brown. It was okay, but the sandwich was just so good. The bread is soft and delicious with a hint of sweetness, the egg is perfectly cooked and the sauces are great. Definitely come by for breakfast if you're around, it's worth the experience! read more
Egg Club seems to be the first to introduce egg sandwiches in the Toronto area. I finally made a trip over the weekend to their Wellesley location. It's definitely designed for takeout as there's a little counter where you order with the menu above similar to any fast food chain you visit. Along the wall, there's seats where people waited for their orders. I ordered the guacamolic sandwich which is their fluffy egg with smashed avocado with their sauce. It took about 15 minutes from order to when your sandwich is ready. The bread was really soft and had a little sweetness to it. Inside the sandwich is a big piece of their fluffy egg with smashed avocado with some of their sauce. They also have hash brown available. Their take on hashbrown is pretty unique! It's a thin hashbrown wrapped around mash (think tacos). They seasoned the mash and it tasted a little sweet to it which is pretty interesting and makes it really delicious! The sandwich and the hash was quite filling and kept me full for half the day. Definitely a great meal to start off the day! read more

The BEST EGG SANDWICH in Toronto. Period!!. Visited the 2nd new location in Yonge and Wellesley, the spot is really nice and clean. As usual, we got the Meat Lovers and BLT. These two menu have been our go-to, as it is loaded with toppings. Meat Lovers - The sausage patty and bacon are perfectly cooked, and the fluffy eggs, mmm delicious! Topped with Chipotle mayo sauce, a great combination! The BLT - if you love tomatoes, and lettuce on your egg sandwich, get this! I personally love this since there's bacon, and ketchup in it. And don't sleep on their Hashbrown cause it is a must order! Sweet from the mashed potato, sandwiched on crispy hashbrown. You'll love it! The staffs are really nice! And I must say this - Their egg sandwich is always consistent. Highly recommended to check out their 2nd location! read more
