Breakfast with my grandkids while visiting California was delicious. My grandson highly recommended Eggspresso so we made it our breakfast destination for today. The menu has a variety of meals and drinks. We settled on the Breakfast Burrito and French Toast. My granddaughter loves matcha and today had a banana matcha. She said it was delicious and loved the added banana flavor. The burritos were huge and definitely enough for two. A side of potato's was also very tasty. While the French toast was kind of pricey the burritos were definitely priced fairly. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Even has an outdoor patio eating area. Service is quick and pleasant.
Surprisingly not a bad brunch spot I would come back to again hopefully in the near future. This hidden spot seems like it's buried within some office buildings, with a parking lot that seems like needs to be paid to get in, but is free, at least when we went on a weekend. We had the pork belly rice bowl, which was not bad. Theres good flavor on the pork belly, and it is a very colorful signature dish. The pork belly could be a bit juicier and slightly less dry. Also had the chilaquiles which was flavorful. Same thing the the meat that can be slightly less dry, but overall also a flavorful dish. I'm glad the sour cream on this dish isn't overwhelming. Both dishes come with a slightly runny egg on top. The coffee and the service feel standard, nothing bad or standing out.
A hidden little gem that is tucked away by the hospital. If I wasn't told about this spot, I don't even think I would have ever gone here. This spot has a private parking lot that is shared with several other businesses. With validation from the restaurant, parking is free for two hours. The moment you walk in, it's a nice homey feel to it. There is ample seating, both inside and outside. It's a bit of a fast casual restaurant, where you order at the front, take a number, sit down, and they will deliver to your table. I ordered the Lemon Pancakes, Breakfast Burrito with Bacon, and black coffee. The breakfast burrito is definitely hearty and very filling, a bit salty for my taste from the bacon. The Lemon pancakes are flavorful and fluffy, a great sweet treat if you are looking for one. Coffee is coffee. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes.
A place you'll want to go is definitely at Eggspresso! Eggspresso was one of those hidden gems I'm glad I found. Located in an industrial area of Fullerton, it's easy to miss, but it's worth seeking out. Just remember to validate your parking, I learned that lesson the hard way and ended up paying $10. I ordered the pork belly rice bowl and a lavender latte. Calysta recommended the rice bowl, and the recommendation did not disappoint. The pork belly was perfectly crispy, and the combination of brown rice, pickled onions, avocado, arugula, and pesto was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The pesto was an unexpected addition that really brought the dish together. The lavender latte was just as enjoyable, and yes, the latte art got me. What stood out most was the family-owned feel. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone was welcoming. Special shoutout to Jen for her kindness and for sharing a little about the business. If Eggspresso were closer to me, it would easily become a regular stop.
a great little hidden gem brunch spot in Fullerton! this location has a paid parking lot, but you can get parking validated! can still get packed though, so keep that in mind! good amount of seating inside, but they also have a nice amount outside too for the nice weather days. the service was good, the food was good, and the vibes were really nice too! my mom really enjoyed her chilaquiles, and my chicken & waffles were yummy but i do wish the chicken portion was a liiiittle bigger than tenders, and my eggs were overcooked/not runny. but overall, still a meal that i enjoyed! would come back to try other things on the menu :)
Fullerton has so many good places to eat at. So many hidden gems. Glad I came across this place. Took my aunty's for brunch and we enjoyed the lemon pancakes and the pork belly rice bowl. Latte was delicious as well. We got there around 9am on a Saturday morning, plenty of parking inside and outside. Got busy quick tho. Cool place, try them out!
Such a cute spot for brunch. I was worried about parking because its near a hospital & lots of buildings however they have their own lot & they do validate parking! Came here for lunch with my son & we got the fried rice & chicken and waffles benedict. We also got the dirty potatoes which was such a nice touch to go with the rest of our food. The strawberry lemonade is really refreshing & the matcha is so good. I love that there's outdoor seating & indoor seating! Service was great as well
Plenty of patio seating outside & inside. Great service & a clean interior. Ordered the cremini mushroom toast and subbed with dirty potatoes - delicious!! A must for mushroom fanatics. Great portion sizes too. My friends enjoyed their Kimchi fried rice & Pork belly rice bowls! I'll have to get that next time. Only downside is the paid parking. Just remember to get your ticket validated before leaving!! You get 2 free hours w validation, but anything over is $10/hour - which isn't super horrible but not fun. It's a decent cafe that delivers quality meals! Will be back!
Husband and I had breakfast here today, it was really good! The parking lot was a bit difficult as it is tiny and it seemed 50% of the spaces were reserved for other businesses. You also have to pay for parking, unless you validate, which my husband forgot to do so it was $10 for less than an hour! Make sure to remember to get the validation. We sat inside and the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. The patio seemed way nicer, I would sit out there next time. You scan a QR code on the table and order/pay from your phone before the meal. My husband did tip $10, but I didn't really see the point as there isn't much "service." Our drinks and food were brought to us, but nobody checked on us again, and since you pay up front you don't have to wait for somebody to bring you a bill. I ordered a peach jasmine iced tea, it was $6 and VERY weak, I should have stuck to water, this was not worth $6. Husband had an iced latte and said it was fine. Both of our entrees came with an arugula salad, but for an upcharge you could sub for fruit, potatoes, or mushroom fries. The upcharges were $5 and $6, yikes! This ended up being an almost $80 breakfast, and while it was tasty, I think it was too expensive. That being said, we really liked our food. He had the Breakfast Banger, a tasty sandwich with rosemary sausage, loads of cheese, a fried egg, on an english muffin. Loved the sausage! His Dirty Potatoes were good, they came with a side of creme fraiche, which wasn't needed. The potatoes are cooked with garlic and sage, yummy. My breakfast was the Croque Madam and I subbed for Portobello Fries. THE FRIES wow so good!! I wish more places had this as a side, they are delicious! They come with a really good aji sauce on the side. My Croque Madam was very good, nice sourdough bread, lots of gruyere cheese, tasty smoked ham, and whole grain mustard. The egg on top was slightly overcooked, I would have liked a more runny yolk. Overall though, we both enjoyed it.
Such a gem ; seen this place on instagram a few times so decided to give it a chance. The parking sucks you kind of have a park a little bit away but there is a parking structure nearby. The location is really nice and chill. I got the mimosas package and chicken & waffle Benedict with the eggs on the side. Everything was soo delicious. The chicken could be a little more season but once the syrup is on everything it's fine. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. The star of the shows is those breakfast (dirty) potatoes. 10/10 those were so good my boyfriend and I ordered another side of them . I would definitely come back such a great brunch spot
Saw this place on tiktok, cute interior with plenty of seating. food was okay, nothing crazy to rave about. - pork belly dish: pork belly kind of burnt and small portion. not a fan of brown rice, not sure if they did subs but had to order through the online qr code. fish salmon benedict was pretty salty too. nice spot to vibe out at but would maybe try other dishes besides these. not a ton of interaction with staff is everything is basically self-service, which is up to your preference of dining out. would possibly give this place another shot. parking is a bit tricky too, as it is a very small lot so be prepared for brunch on a busy weeknd.
Saw a Chorizo Burrito on Yelp and it looked delicious. But turns out they don't offer that anymore so I was bummed. Ended up getting the Classic Breakfast - 2 eggs, 3 sourdough toasts, 2 sausages, dirty potatoes, and jam. Everything was decent. The Breakfast Banger was OK. A little messy and greasy. The muffin was too soft for me. I wish the ordering app had a Special Instructions so I can request for the potatoes to be crispy or butter or whatever. If I go to the counter and ask for these things, by the time I get to the front of the line the food already comes out. Unfortunately, nothing on the menu really jumps out at me so not sure if I'll come back.

What A TREAT!! I was surprised with a breakfast at Eggspresso for Mother's Day. There was a wait due to the holiday so we were very lucky to get outdoor seating. I've had my eye on this place for a while so when we arrived I pretty much knew what I wanted. Due to the overwhelming amount of Yelpers who said GET THE DANG SPANISH LATTE, I got the Spanish latte, sweet potato hash and portobello fries. The staff was on their A game, they were all hustling back and forth getting phone orders in and out as well as their dine in guest, I think we even spoke to the owner at one point. As we wait I couldn't help but to notice the beautiful remodeled open kitchen and modern interior, this little spot would be such a beautiful full sized restaurant if they had the space. The little details def stood out. Our drinks were dropped off fairly quick, I took one sip of my Spanish latte and I was in looooove. The hints of cinnamon and perfectly bold espresso was a great choice. I could have had 3 more. As our food started to trickle in I noticed the great pride in presentation, the plates were simply beautiful with the bright colors and great use of the ingredients in each dish. The sweet potato hash was nothing I've ever had before, it sad sweet, savory, bold and bright. Dare I say it was the perfect dish? It def exceeded my expectations. I also very much enjoyed the portobello fries, light airy and crisp. Eggpresso provided the most perfect way to start Mother's Day and I'm happy so say I will be back for more. read more

I was looking for pretty brunch spots in Fullerton and Eggspresso delivered!!! The patio seating is beautifully set up, well spaced, and there's plenty of it! We also went on a Tuesday morning just fyi. My friend and I ordered at the counter and then found a table outside as the servers bring the food directly to you. I got the salmon eggs florentine and my friend got the croque madame, both of which were delicious :) The real selling point was the free drink with a purchase of brunch (when you check in on Yelp) - sooo literally any drink on the menu. You could get your matcha latte with oat milk if you wanted to, which I did. Brunch standing alone and drink likewise, it wouldn't be my number one place, but the combination of the gorgeous location+great food+fast and amazing service made the experience chef's kiss. (One of my friends used that phrase recently and I had to include it) . read more

We went here on Saturday around 12pm and the parking lot was full (it's quite small). We ended up parking on the streets and walking over. You order then take a seat and they'll bring the food to you. We got the breakfast burrito ($12) and the pork belly rice bowl ($19). Both were delicious and the sauces were spicyyy. I think the burrito was a good deal bc it was pretty hefty! The staff members there were really friendly too. I ended up getting a chocolate milk, but I'd like to try their coffees next time :) read more

I've been here twice now with my boyfriend, who would like to emphasize that this place has the BEST lavender latte he has ever tried (he orders a lot of those) so I'd recommend if you like something like that, to try it! We have gotten the pork belly bowl twice now, both of which were absolutely great. The pork belly is well seasoned and crisp and juicy, paired well with a wonderful mix of rice and eggs and veggies. If you're looking for something on the heavier side I'd recommend the pork belly bowl. I've gotten the Lox muffin/bagel(?) which was nothing special but pretty good overall, not something I'd care to order again however. The green goddess salad is similar : I actually really loved all the veggies and such they used and the salad dressing, but I hate that they put a lot of ranch in it underneath which isn't listed on the menu. It overpowers the avocado and everything, so I'd recommend asking for no ranch when ordering. The workers are all very sweet and friendly and the restaurant interior itself is very bright and lively yet simple. read more

The lemon cream pancakes are AMAZING! Today was my 2nd time in a week, I was craving them SO much. Pancakes fluffier than grandma made with just a HINT of lemon. The cream for on top of the pancakes... The cream. The CREAM!!! Think of whipped cream but heavier. English people call it clotted cream. I've had clotted cream. I greedily ate half the bowl with the scones when had it years ago, it was THAT GOOD. The lemon cream here at Eggspresso is also THAT GOOD. So nice and sweet (but not TOO sweet) with a hint and a half of lemon. I can die happy now. When you eat there, the cream will come on top of the pancakes. This place is also dog-friendly on the patio, even with a water bowl available!!! read more
On Wednesdays, they serve their almond croissant with their in-house house almond paste. I've had at least 6-7 types of almond butter or paste, but this one is aaaaaahhhhmazing. I'm craving one as I speak. It pairs well with their iced white tea. 2/5: $15 Pork Belly Rice Bowl. The pickled shallots or thinly sliced red onion is a good condiment to cut the pork fat, but there was too much of it on the plate. Their chimichurri sauce was more oily and bland than parsley or cilantro forward. Their portion size is on the smaller end. I'm happy I tried their almond pastry. Parking is a nightmare. Mr. eggespresso was good. It is a well-made typical breakfast egg sandwich. Sweet potato hash: This dish was a big disappointment. I ordered after looking at couple pictures of this dish. When it came out, it was different from the pictures - it barely had any shallots or spinach or chives. It lacked flavor. Will not order this again. The early grey cube and lemon cubes were good. This was my first time trying out this restaurant. We showed up to meet with two friends and found outdoor patio seating which worked out perfectly. You can scan the menu with your smartphone and then walk inside to order. They do hand you a plastic number to set on the table to identify you when they bring out the order. The drinks although tasty, are a bit pricey. Considering that a black cold brew is the same price as their matcha or other flavored coffee. The wait for the drinks was quick. As for the food, the options are great. The price is worth it, but the wait time was a longer than expected. We watched many plates come out quickly and then all of sudden the food just seemed to stop coming out. Once we received the our order it was super tasty. The waffles we received were cold, but still tasty. I did not know what to expect for the broccolini omelet, but it was very good. Nothing left you feeling overly stuffed, but you also didn't leave hungry. And the potatoes were super tasty and crunchy, which is how I prefer them. Overall, worth stopping and eating again if in the area. read more
My doctor's office is next to this place so decided to give it a try. After my first visit, I was somewhat baffled by all the positive reviews, so decided to give it another try after my recent visit with my doctor. I'm still baffled. This place serves coffee and artisan breakfast/brunch items. In terms of coffee and coffee related drinks, it's fairly typical of other places with the exception of its Affirmation Latte drinks, which are non-coffee drinks with different flavors and milk. You can add a shot of espresso for $1, but the drinks seem a bit expensive at $5 for something that doesn't even have any coffee. Black Hole has activated charcoal, Yellowstone has turmeric, Paris Fog has chai and chocolate, and The Forest has matcha. I tried Black Hole and Paris Fog. I thought they were ok but nothing spectacular. I ordered my drinks to be hot but they were barely warm. In terms of food, I think they are decent but just way overpriced. I realize this place uses good ingredients, but it's still high compared to other artisan breakfast places. For example, the Breakfast Banger, which is basically a sausage/egg/cheese sandwich, is $12. I can get something similar at Eggbred and Eggslice for about $8. This place gives you a side of small arugula salad with this item, but I don't think that should add an additional $4 to the price. This sandwich was quite oily too. I also tried Grilled Broccolini Omelet and Salmon Eggs Florentine, both of which tasted typical. Currently offers takeouts and outdoor dining in patio area. This place is located near St. Jude Hospital and other medical buildings so you will usually see lot of healthcare workers. There's a parking lot right in front, which looks like a paid parking lot, but I haven't had to pay so far. read more

Arguably the most perfectly poached egg this side of orange county - more impressive made by the fact that the delicate, wet bubble of a half-cooked chicken embryo made its way via a delivery app driver to my table in flawless shape. Kudos to the chef, and perhaps the driver a well. So now, onto the rest of the goods: Eggs florentine: sublime, dill infused florentine sauce drapes over the most perfectly poached organic egg, cured salmon+nicely wilted spinach accompanied by a pair of crusty English muffin toasts. Delightful, munch munch... The avo toast: well balanced, the bread retained its crispy texture, the guac was savory, yums. Now, here's the dilemma: a side of potatoes = $6+tax The product itself was very good, excellent even. However, not unlike real-estate its all about comparables : and in North OC/ Whittier area there are some formidable competition when it comes to brunch goodies (eg. Early bird in Brea, Toast in Whittier, Eggbred in La Habra). And when compared to its peers, Eggspresso falls just short of excellence in terms of what it offers goods to $$ ratio. Good, if not great brunch joint in North OC, definitely worth revisiting - 4.5 stars. read more

came here with a couple of friends after wanting to stop by for awhile, and i was not disappointed! it's almost self serve here, in the sense that you find your own table, scan the qr code, and then order what you'd like. payment is all virtual through the ordering process which makes it go pretty quick, and then one of the sweet members of the staff will bring you your food based off of the table number in your order. and the food is divine! i had the pork belly bowl with white rice and i'm still thinking about it to this day... would love to try the kimchi fried rice next time; my friend had it and it looked and smelled so so good. we sat outside due to our party size, and while the chairs weren't comfortable for me (i'm nearly 6 feet tall and plus size), others seemed to have no issue. inside the restaurant is so cute, and i'd love to come again and try to get an inside seat. they have matcha and coffee on their menu which i didn't get to try, but i definitely have my eye on them. i parked in the ticketed lot in front of the restaurant, and any of the staff at eggspresso will validate your parking for 2 free hours, which is a huge plus!! :3 can't wait to come back! read more

In short... egg shell in food and over an hour wait for our food to arrive. I'm seriously bummed that I wasted my last meal in socal here... the yelp reviews made it seem like it would be amazing but what a disappointment.... We waited close to an hour for our food... our friends ordered separately and their order took even longer. When their coffee arrived, the server said "sorry it might be a little cold it's been sitting out for a while." Really? I also found an egg shell in my omelette that I'm attaching below. The only reason why I'm not giving a one star review is that someone came out to apologize and gave us a slice of coffee cake after they asked how our meal was and it was crickets (none of us could bring ourselves to say we enjoyed our meal). read more
A decent brunch spot across St. Jude's. Ample parking. Came on a Sunday and it was not too busy. There isn't any seating indoors and the umbrellas outside are not moveable so I got burned just FYI. We did wait 30+ mins for food so don't come here if you're in a rush. Prices are about what I expect at a nice brunch spot like this. It's more of a 3.5 for me but I think it has potential. Croque Madame- very filling, thick & crunchy sourdough. The sunny side egg is on top so I did have to use a fork and knife to eat. But it was pretty good. Came with a side of arugula salad. Chicken& waffles Benedict- chicken was seasoned well with a hint of spice. Waffles were made well. Came with a side of thick honey butter I think and maple syrup. It's topped with 2 poached eggs. My friend really liked it. Pain Perdu- great flavor with the pear and candied walnuts. But The French toast should've been cooked better. It was very soggy. It was like they just put it on the grill for a few seconds because the inside was drippy batter soaked bread. Comes with a side of unsweetened whipped cream and syrup. The forest- matcha latte with honey lavender. You can hardly taste any lavender so it was really just a matcha latte to me. That can be good or bad depending on you, but I would've liked to taste the flavor more. read more

food was delicious! went on a saturday and the place was packed but the service was still pretty quick. i got the chicken and waffles and the butterscotch cream latte. the chicken was full of flavor, the waffles were fluffy, and the eggs were perfectly poached. will definitely go back again. read more
If you're looking for a place to hangout and have brunch with friends, you'll have to be pretty aware of how long you want to chit chat. I think the parking situation here is not the best. I think if you're just wanting to eat and leave then it's fine. I see brunch as a place to eat and enjoy some good company. You only get 2 hours of validated parking. Once that passes it's automatically another $10/hr. I had the breakfast burrito. It was fine, I really enjoyed the salsa, but it was overall a little bland. The service was normal, you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The atmosphere is nice. Good indoor seating and a ton of patio seating. Perfect for a nice sunny day. read more
Came here for brunch with my girlfriends. The food aesthetic was great. Keep that up. The food itself was whatever for me. Side salad was just a plain arugula salad. Needs to be more spruced up in my opinion. With so many brunch spots in OC, I didn't feel it stood out. No issues with service. The upside is plenty of spacious seating options, indoors and out as well as parking. Parking does need to be validated so don't forget. read more
Oh dang, I saw egg and was really excited! I saw this on my friends Instagram one day and though "hey I must come here". I came here after my work out this week and really wanted something savory and a little bit of a cheat. Called on the phone and the lady was super sweet! I saw they had a pork belly rice which was eyeing since the beginning when I was looking at the menu. I ordered that and a latte. Came into the facility and it was very nice inside. It was super modern and there was a lot of open space for air to circulate in and out which is a plus since Covid has been raging on! Crispy pork belly rice ($15)- To be honest, it was pretty pricey but the quality of the meal was great! You get delicious brown rice with some veggies, avocado, sunny side up egg and pork belly! It was very flavorful especially the pork belly! Had some kind of sausage taste to it which I like! I felt it was a very simple meal and they execute it properly! Forrest Latte ($5)- it was a tea latte with lavender and honey! I really liked how it was aromatic and definitely really pushed a mix of flavors together. I really enjoyed how it was soft and simple. I wasn't overwhelmed by anything and I still got it half sweet. I totally recommend this especially if u add a shot! Overall I really like the place a lot! They have great customer service and they kept asking if I was sure if I wanted the item. The Korean lady that also helped me was super sweet and smiled when I was confused. She definitely was the definition of customer service. Although it is pricey I would definitely come back and try more items especially the eggs Florentine! I had always noticed this place on my way to work and finally was able to go. We went on a Monday morning at 8:30am. No line. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Normally on the weekend, this place is packed. Quite pricey food - most dishes ranging from $14-18 for a Benedict, egg sandwich, or egg dish. Drinks are in the $5 range. Everything was very tasty and fresh. We were very satisfied with our meal! read more

I believe it's $5.25, and you can order by the dozens, but you should call them a day or two prior to when you need them. Hope that helps.
