I have been going to other two locations of Summerfield tea bar. I gotta say this location is the most spacious one. Their food quality is consistent among all location. The La Habra location, service is super fast, my drink was ready within 5 minutes. I ordered Osmanthus Milk Tea , the drink already came with Boba and Crystal boba, it might be sweet so make sure to customized to 50% if you dont like too sweet. The popcorn chicken was a lot. Good portion, however Im not too impressed with this dish, no basil leaves the seasoning is ok. I recommend the fried tofu here. Tip: it definitely gets super busy at around 11am moving forward, if you decided to stuy here, bring your noice cancellation headphone! Overall, a decent place to hang out. I wish their tea has a little stronger tea flavor , they use high quality ingredients though I can tell.

Stopped by on the way to La Mirada Theater. Nice looking place with a LOT of seating. I imagine that a lot of people hang out here. There's plenty of table space for working, playing games, etc. You can order at a kiosk or at the counter. The guy there was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our order. Tried the wintermelon milk tea with honey boba and grass jelly. Got it at 75% sweet and it was still sweet enough. Next time I would try it at 50%. The honey boba is good and added sweetness, so maybe that's part of it. They put a large piece of grass jelly instead of smaller pieces so you kind of have to stab it with your straw to get it. Tastes good, though, and reasonably priced. There are also food options. If I was a local, I'd come back.

    Rainbow Snow Uji Matcha Freeze
    Nicole B.

Food/Drink 3.5/5: Ordered a rainbow snow and Uji matcha freeze along with a popcorn chicken. Drinks were very icy and the matcha lacked some flavor. The popcorn chicken was delicious, very crispy with spice on the side. Service 4.5/5: Our items came out very quickly. The only issue was that it became clear the person who prepared our popcorn chicken did so a little too quickly with chicken spilling out into the bag and cup below because they hadn't flattened out the liner inside the popcorn chicken cup. Price $$: Each drink was about $8.50 and $9.00 for the popcorn chicken. Prices are a little steep for a boba shop and very common flavors, along with the portions that were given with the popcorn chicken.

Another day another boba spot. This spot is great for working/studying since they have cozy set up and food along with their drinks. I had: 1. Popcorn chicken 2. Crispy tofy 3. Rainbow tea 4. Wintermelon milk tea 5. Matcha colada 6. Matcha gon' bananas

Love the aesthetics of the Summerfield cafes. Popcorn chicken salad This was so flavorful and a big portion. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy outside and tender inside. The salad came with sweet chili sauce! The veggies were nice and fresh. Service was super quick. They also have a kiosk to place orders. Honey Boba Bear This was also really good! The boba was nice and chewy. Not too sweet without adjustments. Glad that they have multiple locations now'

    Matcha colada and banana matcha

I've had fruit teas from Summerfield in the past. The matcha drinks are pretty good. I got 75% sugar level and the sweetness is very light. If you like the taste of sweetness, definitely get the normal percentage. The matcha colada doesn't really have a coconut taste like I was hoping for. It's a good matcha latte but not a great matcha-colada drink. The banana matcha was solid. Liked it and would get again. I love that they don't charge for oat milk, so refreshing. The drinks came out really fast, good service. The inside has great study-in-a-cafe vibes.

Review 91/365 Day Challenge I've always been wanting to visit Summerfield Boba shop especially this location since I pass it pretty frequently on my way to La Habra. Finally did on a Thursday evening a little past 5 p.m. with my son. It was a full house. With lots of the patrons doing some studying with their laptops. Looks like a great boba shop to come and enjoy yummy drinks while getting some work done. Wanted to grab him an after school snack. What we ordered Trying the new Holiday Drinks Premiere. They are currently running a promo $ 4 for these drink edition ~ Mint Choco Frost is a slush base of Mint chocolate Coffee. The mint isn't overpowering. Is really on the sweet side since it has chocolate drizzled in the cup. ~ Matcha Colada is a matcha drink w coconut cold foam on top. My drink of choice & it's really good. I requested it 75% sweetness and it was perfect. ~ Lunaria Milk Tea Boba was ok. It had this after taste wasn't a fav of mine. Got it for my husband and he wasn't a fan. He's not the picky type too. ~ Popcorn Chicken was really good. Asked for it medium spicy & it had the perfect kick to it. Served w the traditional sweet & sour dipping sauce. ~ Honey BOBA is good & chewy. It does harden up a little after a few hours. Only bummer part. Associate is really friendly & the shop is so cute with Mint wall color. Cute, clean & love the simple vibes. Lots of seatings inside. Currently no outside seatings. It looks like they are making a small patio area, has construction. Gazebo is being built. Will definitely be back for future visits to try their other drinks. Located in the plaza next to Cost Less & The Burrito Brothers. Lots of parking right in front of the Boba Shop.

    Mango Snow

I've been here before many times and I was genuinely so shocked and grossed out to find a hair in my drink. There was an unusually long wait time this time too, just for there to be a hair inside my drink. I unfortunately didn't even notice until I drank a significant portion my mango snow. :(

Stopped by this spot before my son's football game in the area and it didn't disappoint. Ordering is made easy with a kiosk when you enter. The popcorn chicken was light and delish and the spiciness wasn't too much. The portion size was generous as well for the cost. The tea and matcha was refreshing and clean. The star jellies in the tea were fun! Overall, the atmosphere is nice for hanging out with friends as seating is plentiful.

3.5 stars Ordered food at Chibab next door and noticed Summerfield so I went in to order a few drinks around noon. I was quite impressed upon walking in with the spacious/open interior and design. Nice place to get some work done or hangout. No one is available at the front or even comes out to greet when customers walk in. You can't see clearly through the kitchen either so it was a bit challenging to get someone's attention to ask a question. Self serve ordering kiosk available. Placed an order for a Taro Snow ($7) without the crème brûlée and a Jasmine Latte ($6). I do like that the drinks automatically come with toppings that you can switch out for free - I opted for grass jelly instead of the crystal & honey boba with the Jasmine Latte. The jasmine flavor was prominent and floral - the 75% sweet was perfect. Disappointed with the taro though since it was artificial powder and not fresh taro, not something I would order again. Decent boba shop if you're in the area, but not something I would go out of my way for. Located in the same plaza as Cost Less and Burrito Brothers. Ample parking in the shared lot.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Our bobaristas Derell and Katrina were FABULOUS and stylish if I will say so myself. The ambience is OPTIMAL and the service even more OPTIMAL. Our drinks and mozzarella sticks were peak!

    Strawberry Tornado

Summerfield Tea Bar in La Habra is open late til 1 AM, making it a solid spot for a late-night sweet treat. I've hit up the Garden Grove location a lot, but since La Habra's closer, I've stopped here for the first time. There wasn't anyone at the counter to greet us, we came around 10 PM; but the place runs on a self-service system, with card and tap-to-pay machines making it easy to order. Ordered the Strawberry Tornado with no Creme Brulee. First time having it as I usually order the Aloha (I think that's what it's still called). Refreshing and sweet, but not overly sweet; no complaints. They serve food here too. I didn't get anything this time; but I've had plenty of their bites before, and it instantly brought back memories of late-night study sessions at their Garden Grove location for nursing school. Parking's easy; they've got a dedicated lot, which is always a plus in this area. Solid spot overall.

Omg! I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee…read moreshop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Thank you New Here!

But fear not, you can go into the structure, park in one of the "employee only" spots, and just tell them which spot and you're golden (wish I knew that before I came and parked across the street). Also, another reason why this place is great is that it's not full at all. Might be because of the parking situation, but the place is near empty which makes it have a nice luxury vibe. Their Vanilla Thesis drink at 50% sweet is soooo good. It's a great blend of coffee and tastes great. You can totally taste the vanilla. Their ham and cheese croissant is also great.

When I walked in, there was no greeting at all. I only had a simple order, but two employees spent a lot of time chatting while making drinks, and it took much longer than expected. As usual, I ordered two Iced Vanilla Lattes and a strawberry milk for my child. The strawberry milk was served in a paper cup. When I tasted it, it wasn't cold, so I politely asked if it could be transferred to a clear to-go cup with ice. The staff said they couldn't provide a clear cup with ice because of store policy. Honestly, I was surprised by the response. It was such a simple request, and I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. A little flexibility and customer service would have gone a long way. I visit coffee shops almost every day, and if you look at my reviews, you'll see that I'm usually very generous and understanding when it comes to coffee shops. However, today's experience was by far one of the most disappointing I've had. I've enjoyed this place for a long time, which makes this visit even more unfortunate.
