Sprinkle cake was not good

I tried their new cake for a ridiculous $8 and it tasted horrible. The piece was pretty small as well and I would not recommend getting it. I feel like this place has gone downhill over the past year or so and I think I'm done giving them the business. Their target audience seems to be young high school or college kids who prefer a hangout spot over quality and the drinks are very sweet. There has just been too many changes and disappointments for me to continue going here.

Another day another boba spot. This spot is great for working/studying since they have cozy set up and food along with their drinks. I had: 1. Popcorn chicken 2. Crispy tofy 3. Rainbow tea 4. Wintermelon milk tea 5. Matcha colada 6. Matcha gon' bananas

Love the aesthetics of the Summerfield cafes. Popcorn chicken salad This was so flavorful and a big portion. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy outside and tender inside. The salad came with sweet chili sauce! The veggies were nice and fresh. Service was super quick. They also have a kiosk to place orders. Honey Boba Bear This was also really good! The boba was nice and chewy. Not too sweet without adjustments. Glad that they have multiple locations now'

Matcha colada and banana matcha

I've had fruit teas from Summerfield in the past. The matcha drinks are pretty good. I got 75% sugar level and the sweetness is very light. If you like the taste of sweetness, definitely get the normal percentage. The matcha colada doesn't really have a coconut taste like I was hoping for. It's a good matcha latte but not a great matcha-colada drink. The banana matcha was solid. Liked it and would get again. I love that they don't charge for oat milk, so refreshing. The drinks came out really fast, good service. The inside has great study-in-a-cafe vibes.

Review 91/365 Day Challenge I've always been wanting to visit Summerfield Boba shop especially this location since I pass it pretty frequently on my way to La Habra. Finally did on a Thursday evening a little past 5 p.m. with my son. It was a full house. With lots of the patrons doing some studying with their laptops. Looks like a great boba shop to come and enjoy yummy drinks while getting some work done. Wanted to grab him an after school snack. What we ordered Trying the new Holiday Drinks Premiere. They are currently running a promo $ 4 for these drink edition ~ Mint Choco Frost is a slush base of Mint chocolate Coffee. The mint isn't overpowering. Is really on the sweet side since it has chocolate drizzled in the cup. ~ Matcha Colada is a matcha drink w coconut cold foam on top. My drink of choice & it's really good. I requested it 75% sweetness and it was perfect. ~ Lunaria Milk Tea Boba was ok. It had this after taste wasn't a fav of mine. Got it for my husband and he wasn't a fan. He's not the picky type too. ~ Popcorn Chicken was really good. Asked for it medium spicy & it had the perfect kick to it. Served w the traditional sweet & sour dipping sauce. ~ Honey BOBA is good & chewy. It does harden up a little after a few hours. Only bummer part. Associate is really friendly & the shop is so cute with Mint wall color. Cute, clean & love the simple vibes. Lots of seatings inside. Currently no outside seatings. It looks like they are making a small patio area, has construction. Gazebo is being built. Will definitely be back for future visits to try their other drinks. Located in the plaza next to Cost Less & The Burrito Brothers. Lots of parking right in front of the Boba Shop.

Stopped by this spot before my son's football game in the area and it didn't disappoint. Ordering is made easy with a kiosk when you enter. The popcorn chicken was light and delish and the spiciness wasn't too much. The portion size was generous as well for the cost. The tea and matcha was refreshing and clean. The star jellies in the tea were fun! Overall, the atmosphere is nice for hanging out with friends as seating is plentiful.

Regular at this location every week. Fries size changed yesterday. Now is the thicker version. Can we have the regular size fries back? Other than that, everything else is amazing! Staff is nice!

3.5 stars Ordered food at Chibab next door and noticed Summerfield so I went in to order a few drinks around noon. I was quite impressed upon walking in with the spacious/open interior and design. Nice place to get some work done or hangout. No one is available at the front or even comes out to greet when customers walk in. You can't see clearly through the kitchen either so it was a bit challenging to get someone's attention to ask a question. Self serve ordering kiosk available. Placed an order for a Taro Snow ($7) without the crème brûlée and a Jasmine Latte ($6). I do like that the drinks automatically come with toppings that you can switch out for free - I opted for grass jelly instead of the crystal & honey boba with the Jasmine Latte. The jasmine flavor was prominent and floral - the 75% sweet was perfect. Disappointed with the taro though since it was artificial powder and not fresh taro, not something I would order again. Decent boba shop if you're in the area, but not something I would go out of my way for. Located in the same plaza as Cost Less and Burrito Brothers. Ample parking in the shared lot.

Nice little spot! I love the location of this place. It's right down the street from the more busy areas in Brea and I love how it's right by the freeway. Food is pretty good too and I enjoy the light aesthetic.

Summerfield Tea Bar in La Habra is open late til 1 AM, making it a solid spot for a late-night sweet treat. I've hit up the Garden Grove location a lot, but since La Habra's closer, I've stopped here for the first time. There wasn't anyone at the counter to greet us, we came around 10 PM; but the place runs on a self-service system, with card and tap-to-pay machines making it easy to order. Ordered the Strawberry Tornado with no Creme Brulee. First time having it as I usually order the Aloha (I think that's what it's still called). Refreshing and sweet, but not overly sweet; no complaints. They serve food here too. I didn't get anything this time; but I've had plenty of their bites before, and it instantly brought back memories of late-night study sessions at their Garden Grove location for nursing school. Parking's easy; they've got a dedicated lot, which is always a plus in this area. Solid spot overall.

Free fries upon sign up on app. I love this location it's super clean and a good place to get work or study done. There's a lot of cables to plug in if you need to charge your laptop or phone etc. Service is good there's a self order option or you can order with a cashier. I love their fries and popcorn chicken. And all their drinks are yummy I usually get their milk teas, fruit tea, or their blended drinks

Summerfield is such a great handout spot. My friends and I enjoy that they stay open late. They have several drink options, I really like the matcha. My friends got the frappe and it was so good I am getting that next time. Also the popcorn chicken is really tasty too!

Ambiance: cute and spacious cafe with seating. I especially appreciate a plug at each booth table. This is perfect for people needing to get work done. Use the code on your receipt for the bathroom code. Service: order at the kiosk and they'll call your number for pickup. Drinks: consistently good drinks! I stop by for their happy hour, 2 fruit teas for $8.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about, or maybe they've improved since then, but got a…read moregood sample of their products, one cold sandwich, the turkey, and a hot club, as well as the mango and the berry smoothie and the cucumber juice. I found the prices to be reasonable / average SoCal prices for what you get. The small juice definitely wasn't just a "shot of juice", it was decently sized. I personally didn't like the juice as it was strong on the ginger taste but that's just a preference thing. Would repeat if I'm nearby. Service was friendly and a nice looking location overall. First time at Robeks !

Wish we could turn back time To the 90s days…read moreWhen we all could get Large Smoothies for only $6 And that's pretty much the reason why I don't go to Robeks anymore. Of course, I'm not expecting a large smoothie to be $6 today, but when you're paying more for a small smoothie today than for a large smoothie back then, it's hard to find much reason to come back, especially when the closest location to you isn't even that close. I came for National Smoothie Day when Robeks was celebrating by offering 90s prices for their Classic Smoothies: $3.99 for a Small, $4.99 for a Medium, and $5.99 for a Large. This Robeks in Fullerton is located on the southeast corner of Imperial and Harbor. It's in the same plaza as Best Buy and Floor & Decor, but the juice shop is located much closer to the intersection next to the Mobil Gas Station. The first two things I noticed about this Robeks was that they have a drive thru, and their signage said, "Juice & Signature Sandwiches Made to Order" underneath Robeks, but not the word "Smoothies", making me think they didn't offer smoothies here. The drive thru was a rather unique feature that I've never seen at a Robeks before, and I've been to a few other locations. Another unique feature about this Robeks is their front patio, which is encompassed by a white gate. Within this patio, there are a couple of tables with umbrellas, almost making it look like a cozy house with a nice front yard for neighbors to enjoy some tea together. When I arrived, there weren't any customers inside, but there were some customers who went through the drive thru, and a male employee was assisting a customer at the pickup window at the time. I needed plenty of time to decide which of the Classic Smoothies to get, not just because it took a while for that employee to even approach me, but rather, the menu boards were so far behind the front counter that even if you were standing right in front of the register, the menu would still be quite the eye chart. I did take a photo of the menu so I could read it better, but brought up that concern to the employee; he was happy enough to give me a menu, but didn't bother to reply to my question of, "I'm allowed to keep this, right?" as he went to assist another drive-thru customer. I figured if they had a lot of those menus, losing one wouldn't hurt their business. As I was trying to decide which smoothie to get, I was amazed at how long their display case was. They showed photos of all the sandwiches they offer, and there was a multitude of different bread loaves right behind the plexiglass. The left side of the front counter has a rack of Kettle Chips and two sets of straws; there are also shelves of protein cookies on the wall, and above the shelves are empty cups showing the drink sizes. The Large is about twice as large as the Small, so for $2 more, the Large is the better buy, even at the discounted 90s prices. I had such a difficult time deciding what to get, but I went with the Hummingbird, which happens to be their logo. The wait for my Hummingbird smoothie wasn't that long; it was only three minutes before a female employee set my smoothie down on the pickup counter. I was able to grab a straw until I realized there were two sets, and I wasn't sure which straw to get. I asked that female employee what the differences were between the two straws; she replied that the thicker ones, like boba straws, were for the smoothies while the thinner ones were for the juices. Needless to say, I took a boba, no I mean, smoothie straw. I liked how bold the flavor was in the Hummingbird, but unfortunately, the Hummingbird tasted kind of funny as well. Of course, not the haha kind of funny, but rather, the odd kind of funny. It tasted more sour than I expected, like the fruits they used to craft my smoothie were nowhere close to ripe! They use orange sherbet and passionfruit juice in the smoothie; one or both had to have been much more sour than the norm. The mangos are another suspect. Interior is standing room only, though I did see four chairs stacked in the corner. But not even one table? Or even a pickup counter distant from the register? No, they decided to make the left side of the front counter both for ordering and pickup. If there are multiple groups of customers inside the lobby at any given time, I can see some pandemonium happening with customers bumping into each other to try to place their orders or pick up their drinks. I suppose that's why they have a drive thru. Hours are posted at the front door: 7:30 AM to 9 PM daily, but the lobby closes at 8 PM daily. Overall, it's an okay Robeks for smoothies, but I think it's more geared towards sandwiches as it seems much different than the other locations I've been to before. It would have been kind of cool to try the drive thru for once, but unless Robeks has some other promo to celebrate their 30th anniversary, a return visit, even to the Long Beach location, won't happen for a long while.

Update to my review: wow! So impressed with the owner who messaged me to invite me back in try…read moretheir menu! I asked for suggestions, and opted for the Banana Peanut Butter with unsweetened Almond Milk, Peanut Butter, Banana and Chocolate Protein. I opted for the chocolate drizzle. It was super easy to pay. There is plenty of seating inside and the smoothie bar sits in front of the martial art studio but has its own dedicated space. A true "mom and pop" local place, which I love. I learned all of their smoothies and juices are fresh made with no pre-made ingredients. I can see now why other reviewers called it a gem! So true. Really looking forward to coming back. And bringing friends. Also good to know, you can call ahead if you are on the go and have it ready made for you when you arrive! I was craving a smoothie in my city and wanting support a local business. So I looked up smoothies in my area and Thrive7 came up. Tried to go here today at around 1 pm for a smoothie, and the doors were locked. It is attached to a Marital Arts studio and there is no separate entrance. The window and doors are covered up with signage so I couldn't tell if it was open. There was a sign on the door that said open, but when I pulled on the door it was locked. Hours online say it should have been open. I was looking forward to trying it out because other reviews said it was a "hidden gem" and I love a good local spot. Just as I was pulling away out of the parking lot the doors opened up. Maybe I will try again someday but I don't want to guess if they will be open or not. I ended up going somewhere else. Maybe a sign saying "be back in 15 minutes" or something similar if they need to be away. From the photos it looked like a cool place.
