Don't come here if you're in a hurry! We have come to this place both on a Saturday and Sunday, with maybe 1 or 2 customers inside. We waited at least 15-20 minutes for 2 coffees. After 15 minutes we asked for the 2nd coffee and then they barely started to work on the order. No apology or an excuse they were just chit chatting like they had no orders. So avoid this place if you are in a rush, no complaints about order, but really will not be coming back due to the lack of courtesy and customer service. read more

I have not been in the area or at this coffee shop. I had to visit someone in a facility nearby but first coffee. Had to quickly find something and this shop came up. Parking van me limiting. I did the 10mins in front but I didn't see much around unless you pay. Walked in and it was pretty big shop with such cute soft seatings along the windows of the shop. Then there's a long communal table with additional tables and chairs in the back. Took me a minute to review the menu and decide. No rush at all and the cashier was a nice young lady who recommended and made my order. The drink was good and I also ordered a hot tea to go and enjoyed that for later. I arrived around 6:58 a.m. along with another customer. A male employee allowed us inside, but shortly after, a female employee stated they were not open yet, even though we were already inside waiting. From the start, the female employee had a poor attitude and was rude and unwelcoming to both the other customer and myself. She wasn't the rudest person on earth, but her demeanor was not suitable for customer service. I was polite and respectful the entire time. When I asked questions about the menu and explained that I usually order iced espresso, black iced coffee, or cold brew and wanted to try a flavored drink made less sweet, she cut me off and said no without offering alternatives. Because of this, I ordered a plain cold brew. Toward the end of my visit, it seemed like she tried to lighten up a bit, but overall her attitude needs improvement. The male employee, however, provided great customer service. He was friendly, welcoming, and communicated clearly, including letting me know that the oven was still warming up, so my bagel would take longer to make. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The breakfast bagel was mediocre, included boiled eggs not shown online, and I paid extra for turkey only to receive about half a slice. I waited roughly 17 minutes for an $8 bagel that wasn't worth it. Overall, one employee was great while the other needs serious improvement. The shop opens at 7:00 a.m., yet the staff seemed unprepared. Parking is available but limited due to nearby medical offices. I went in, and the place was very quiet, had cozy seats and looks like a nice place to work from a laptop. Even had a public printer. And some fancy looking roasting machine. I used to LOVE Coffee Up Roastery. The Biscoff was my favorite and I haven't been in awhile. I went today and the Asian girl with long lashes, makeup, and eye brow piercing was very rude. The Biscoff itself became more expensive but they actually made it smaller than it used to be! The drink was smaller and there was no biscoff cookie like I used to get. It was the small things that made this place amazing and it's just gone. Lastly, it was very hot in there, maybe their AC is broken but it is not a good place to study. I came in and told me to put my drink in the kiosk. It was her manner of talking to me that stunned me. Her tone was passive aggressive. You don't talk to people like that! If there is a staffing issue you talk to your boss. She needs coaching on how to be more friendly and professional. I am a barista and understand the pressure. Customers will wait. They just won't want to come back if you have someone representing the face of the coffee shop with a short, snappy disposition! I hope she gets reprimanded. Someone else would have told her off. If service is not something she can handle, then the coffee shop atmosphere is not the right fit for her. I hope my next visit is better.
