I've been wanting to try this cute little spot for a while and finally had brunch here today. I ordered the Brocolini Omelette (which came with an arugula salad) and the Fruit Plate and my boyfriend had the Breakfast Banger. The omelette was an amazing combo of flavors and textures and rivaled an omelette I had in Paris a couple of years ago. The arugula salad was delicious and was perfectly paired with a tangy lemon vinaigrette. The fruit plate was a wonderful mix of berries, blood orange and pear. My boyfriend loved his breakfast sandwich and said it was the best one he's had. The customer service was above and beyond and all the employees were super friendly. Came here with a friend today. Really cute place by st Judes/Providence medical center. When we arrived there, the parking situation was a little confusing. The lot where the restaurant was located required you to get a ticket to let you in, but the good thing is that the restaurant validates for that parking lot. If you decided to park at a parking structure across from the restaurant, that one is $10 maximum for the day. Just a little FYI for people who wanted to come to the restaurant. The inside was on the smaller side. It was very intimate. We were sitting so close to the neighboring tables that I'm pretty sure they heard all of our conversation. Everything on the menu was enticing. I noticed that there was some Korean influences with some of the items which seemed pretty cool and unique. I got the lavender latte with oat milk which was pretty good. My friend and I both got the breakfast burrito. The salsa that came with it was great and the burrito itself was amazing! The potatoes were soft and buttery. I liked that they used Yukon Gold potatoes. I felt like the ratio of all the cheese, egg, bacon, and tortilla was just perfect. I would definitely come here again, but maybe sit outside since I usually have personal and extensive conversation with my friends. We didn't sit outside today because it was raining. Our breakfast: Delicious! My gf and I shared the sweet potato hash and the broccolini omelette in order to avoid the bread options (although I am sure they are all amazing, as well). They were both delicious!!!! The sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly with other additions like spinach, shallots etc. and two beautifully poached eggs on top! Yum! The broccolini omelette was seasoned perfectly and the veggies even had a bit of healthy crunch without tasting raw. The gruyere cheese inside was melted perfectly and added that delicious cheesy and salty balance. Both perfect options when attempting to make healthier choices. Expresso bar: I ordered a mocha with oat milk- it was perfectly frothed with the exact amount of rich chocolate inside and dolloped with an intricate design of frothy hearts on top! I was convinced before I took my first sip that it would be delicious! It was absolutely perfect! I am extremely picky when it comes to purchasing a $5 specialty coffee because I feel like many coffee places rush to froth and it ends up taking like a warm milk hot chocolate. Not the case here. I would go back just for coffee instead a typical coffeehouse, honestly. The only other place I will order $5-6 for a specialty coffee drink is Reborn coffee. They are equally good! I also love the fact that Eggspresso had a separate barista bar. They take their expressos seriously here and the baristo did not rush through the process making my drink. My gf ordered a tea of some sort which she enjoyed as well. Lastly, the owner, Christina, who took our order also came out on the patio to see how we were enjoying our meal. I love this! She was so personable and friendly. She shared a bit of her story with us because we were so curious about how she came to open her restaurant. Very thoughtful, brave and hard-working mother opening a restaurant during covid is a risky thing (with two young kids in preschool as well)! Finally decided to try this place as it was recommended by a few friends and was not disappointed. First of all the owners and staff are very hospitable and friendly. They explained the menu well for us and helped us decided on what drinks to get. We got the forest (matcha and lavender) and black hole (charcoal and rosemary). Both literally blew my mind it was such interesting combinations but they were so good. Cute little brunch place that has better food beyond your typical American brunch place! The mushroom toast was a personal favorite, but the pork belly bowl and chicken sandwich were also delicious. The bowl had really interesting cohesive components that weren't your typical what-have-yous and the chicken sandwich was huge but a perfect size to share (messy though) It's a little bit of a bummer that they don't have a house coffee, so no refills- it's a hot americano. But the workers are nice, food good, and overall just a nice little place to eat! We had a Mr Eggspresso sandwich and it was greasy as all hell, the buns were soggy with grease, there was no level of care when this sandwich was built. We also had a croque madame and it was fine, nothing to write home about. Lastly we had an order of "dirty potatoes" which were plain, unseasoned potatoes served with a side of sour cream? I failed to see the dirty in these potatoes. All in all, the food is not worth the price, we paid $67 just to be thoroughly disappointed. The fried chicken and pork belly are perfectly crispy and tender. The kids love the kalbi mac and cheese. If you're looking for something in between, the bacon jam blt is my jam. It checks all of the boxes for service and convenience. There are so many tables here, we never have trouble getting a seat.
