    Mexican Cokes

What a great first time experience! From the moment we walked in we experienced professional service. Starting with Farrah and Justin. Adan and Kiara's personalities light up this space! I loved the recommendations as well. First time drinking Mexican Coke! Yes! The only tip I have is the French toast could have used seasoning so it was not bland. The Eggsquite was delicious. Adan made me a Horata (it's not on menu). The space is kept clean, they sweep after table is cleared and cleaned. I will definitely be back!

Clean place quick seating Great service and food prepared EXACLY like we asked. Grandson got the Chicken Fried Steak and cleaned it out. I got the Miga (sp) which was a mix of jalapeño, scrambled eggs, onions and salsa and added the "Chicken Carnitas" and loves every bite. The jalapeños were moderately hot which I liked but take note. Again the service was excellent

So many great options and lots of yummy food. The sausage Pattie's were a little dry for our liking, but everything else was incredible. My husband got the breakfast omelette and the potatoes O'Brien with orange juice to drink. I had the S&M combo with tres leches French toast, over medium eggs, bacon, and sausage. I got a variety of drinks dr. Pepper, coffee, and the mermaid. The service is good especially for how busy they are on the weekends.

The food is amazing, the service was excellent, and the staff is incredibly kind! I ordered the French toast and a cappuccino, and both were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The overall experience and ambience here are incredible. Allen, Texas really needed this little gem of a spot. I will definitely be back! Don't forget to take a photo with the I'M Fried Egg!

Excellent we went for a family breakfast and it was so good. The eggs Benedict there's four or five versions and they we're all good and their crêpes are really good too

Iron Man Scrambler with fruit. I skipped the toast.

Met herewith a group of friends that have breakfast monthly and I've been to Eggsquisite several times have never reviewed it. Eggsquisite is a bright, cheery place and service is fast and friendly. I'm attempting to eat healthier so I went with the Ironman scrambler without toast. The eggs (with spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms) were perfectly cooked and the side of berries was quite tasty. Service was top notch and we never felt rushed. Lots of variety on the menu and if I wasn't trying to be good would definitely order some waffles or pancakes. If you're looking for a good place for breakfast check Eggsquisite out.

Found this stellar breakfast place during a recent trip to Dallas. Located in a plaza off one of the main drags is this incredible place. We wanted a good breakfast and this filled our desires and then some. Place is beautiful inside, spacious and full of great wall decor. For our meals we got the country fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns and toast while my buddy got the same but bacon instead of the steak. Steak was delicious as was the gravy, was scooping every last drop up with every bite. Bacon was crispy and the eggs were perfect. Service was attentive and very friendly, they run a tight ship here. If you're looking for a good breakfast spot in the area this is your spot!!

The service here is amazing! Our server Adan was so nice and helpful. The standout dish here for me is the spicy chicken n biscuit. It has sausage gravy and it wasn't heavy like most are. I found the chicken to be cooked well and even though it wasn't spicy white meat it was pretty moist. The spicy honey on it makes the dish and the combination of the chicken, biscuit, gravy and runny egg (or however you like it) makes it a delectable bite. The huevos rancheros was good too and the salsa that comes with it is freshly made and probably the star! The pancake side was alright I don't think it stands out that much where pancakes are concerned and we made a mistake eating it at the end so it got pretty chewy but it feels chewier than normal. Overall a great place for breakfast!

Don't look big on outside, but plenty of room inside

Chicken Florentine Crepe was huge, packed inside with grilled chicken breast, mushrooms, spinach, minced white onion bits, parmesan cheese, and hollandaise sauce! Comes with choice of 1 breakfast side. This is big enough for 2 persons to enjoy all the flavors brought into one classic dish. I got here at lunch hour, about 50% capacity, a couple of family groups filled the biggest booths. The place is clean & orderly, and the staff is very pleasant. This is near a Kroger, the big parking lot is really nice. ALCOHOL, YES since November, Adult Beverages can be ordered at this independent Eggsquisite Cafe. Legal ID required. Ask for drink menu when seated.

You are greeted by a smiling face and a kind word at Eggsquisite! I love Nutella so I cou resist having them! They were delicious! I couldn't finish them so I took them home and ate them cold the next morning! They tasted surprisingly yummy! I decided not to even heat them up

First off the menu options are varied making it hard to choose just one entree. Did we want pancakes or French toast or biscuits....so hard. We were seated at the back of the restaurant, kitchen side and it was so fascinating to see meals as they were prepped to go out to patrons. Everything looked fresh, delicious, and made to order and the portions were definitely shareable. We started off with brunch cocktails and even received a comp croissant beignet appetizer which was absolutely amazing. They were flacky on the outside and butter soft inside with amazing Nutella dipping sauce. We decided to go with a green goddess salad with all the yummy veggies, French toast, and pancakes for the table. This is a great place to dine alone and with family, friends, or a brunch date. Its very farmhouse chic and cant what to go back and try more of the menu. They will always get a recommendation from me. First off the Chicken Fried Chicken was delicious prepared very well good flavor and very crispy. The gravy had a lot of flavor as well no salt or pepper needed. I order three eggs over medium the yolk could have been a bit more runny. I didn't care for the has because it did not have any potatoes in it. Service was good but did not knock my socks off. The restaurant is decorated very nice and had a good vibe. I ordered a second piece of sourdough toast which tasted great hence the reason for a second piece. The real home made jam made the toast. When the bill came I was charged $4.50 for a single piece of toast. This was a ridiculous amount for a single piece of toast it was more than my iced tea. Really $2.00 for a piece of bread toasted seems like a reasonable price. I just finished breakfast at another breakfast spot up on University. I really can't compare apples to apples except for the addition pice of toast. $1.99 for two slices of toast. Over all meal was priced fair. I just don't think I will be back here due to the prices.

I ended up getting the quesadilla off the kid's menu. Waitress said it was made with one tortilla. I should have asked how big a tortilla. lol It was very small. Too small, imo, for even a kid's menu. More like a toddler menu. Tasted okay. Came with fruit and hashbrowns. The fruit was very good and all of it was fresh. Loved the pineapple. Hashbrowns had a bad flavor-from the grease they squirt on the griddle to cook the hashbrowns and get them crisp. It tasted old. I love hashbrowns and order them a lot when ordering breakfast. I could only take a few bites. The hubs ordered a panini. It came with potato soup. I tried the soup and it was good, but needed more flavor. Probably just needed a tad more salt. Waitress was attentive and patiently waited for us to decide what we wanted. Would probably try this place again if we are back in the area and need a bite to eat.

Located in a never-ending strip mall in Allen, we walked in and got our name on the list. It was 11:30 am, so the early church crowd was coming in alongside us. We were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up only being about 10. Inside, Sunview is loaded with Texas décor all over the walls. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. The impression from my brother and sister-in-law was that they wanted to come back here often, and I'll probably find myself returning next time I'm in Dallas. RIYL: More meal options than seats at a restaurant.

We waited 40 minutes for our food to come out. When it finally arrived, everything was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. Even the coffee was cold. A manager came over, offered what felt like a completely insincere apology, and we sent the food back. Another 20 minutes goes by. The food comes back for the SECOND time and somehow it is STILL cold. The only thing that managed to come back hot was a burnt tomato they had "added" to the sandwich. The entire meal was gross and inedible. At this point we had wasted an hour waiting for breakfast that they could not manage to serve hot after 2 attempts. Then the check comes. After all of that, their solution was to deduct a $5 military discount. That was it. So I got up and went to speak with the GM. This is where the experience went from terrible to absolutely unbelievable. Instead of apologizing or taking any responsibility whatsoever, the GM actually started arguing with me about the temperature of my food. He told me my eggs "weren't that cold" and that I should have just accepted them the first time. Seriously? Your restaurant takes 40 minutes to serve cold eggs, gets a second opportunity to fix the problem, takes another 20 minutes, serves them cold AGAIN, and the GENERAL MANAGER'S response is that I should have just eaten them the first time because apparently they were not cold enough to justify complaining? At that point I asked him a very simple question: "Do you have any sense of pride in your work?" His response: "GET OUT OF MY FACE, BITCH." Let that sink in. That was not another customer. That was not some random employee losing his temper. That was the GENERAL MANAGER of Broken Yolk speaking to a customer after his restaurant failed to provide an edible meal after 2 attempts and an hour of waiting. I have eaten in thousands of restaurants over the years. I have had bad meals. I have had terrible service. I have waited too long for food. Restaurants have bad days and people make mistakes. Normally, I can understand that. I have NEVER had a General Manager tell me that I should have simply accepted cold food and then call me a "bitch" when I questioned his attitude. That tells you everything you need to know about this location. The cold food is a kitchen problem. The ridiculous wait is a service problem. Serving the same food cold TWICE is a quality control problem. But when the General Manager's response to all of those failures is to argue with the customer and then call him a "bitch," that is a leadership problem. And apparently one that starts at the very top of this restaurant. There are far too many excellent breakfast restaurants in this area to spend your money somewhere that cannot serve a hot breakfast in an hour and then insults you for expecting one. Broken Yolk corporate should be absolutely embarrassed that someone representing their brand and holding the title of General Manager believes this is an acceptable way to treat a customer. I would give the food another chance. I would give the kitchen another chance. I would even give the restaurant another chance after an hour-long disaster. But I will not spend another dollar at a restaurant managed by someone who tells a customer to "GET OUT OF MY FACE, BITCH" rather than simply taking responsibility for an obviously terrible experience. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this location.

The menu continues to evolve, which is good. Although this last visit both my husband and I noticed the menu is becoming very similar to Cheesecake Factory. By that I mean, they are adding more pages, more loose menu pages with options and their menu items are going into realms that seem very off brand (raw ahi tuna plates, shwarma salad, bao buns, etc). Lazy Dog has always been associated with a diverse beer selection, a down home (almost) southern like food menu. A more elevated and sophisticated Cracker Barrell if you will. This detour from the 'norm' gave us both pause - could the food actually be good? While my hubby and kids stuck to their regular options (crispy deviled eggs, buffalo chicken bites, kids menu) I chose to try the Chili Crunch Ahi Tuna - sashimi grade seared rare tuna, furikake-seasoned rice, edamame, avocado, marinated cucumbers, pickled ginger, spicy garlic crunch, citrus soy dipping sauce and it was DELICIOUS!!! I enjoyed every bite of my meal and would absolutely order it again. I definitely think Lazy Dog is making a run for being competition to Cheesecake Factory when it comes to their menu. Their desserts however have a LOOOOONG way to go. The Campfire Cookies were awful!! Stale, cooked firm, every bite had so many white chips it was overwhelming, there was barely any chocolate, the drizzle soaked into the stale cookies and was tasteless. I have a hard time saying no to any cookie, but could easily say no to these every time. I will actually look forward to trying Lazy Dog again now that they have other healthier options to choose from.
