My guy and I went for brunch one Sunday and there was a 45 minute to 1 hrs wait for seating or bar side seating for immediate service and one we were seated, we understood why. First off the menu options are varied making it hard to choose just one entree. Did we want pancakes or French toast or biscuits....so hard. We were seated at the back of the restaurant, kitchen side and it was so fascinating to see meals as they were prepped to go out to patrons. Everything looked fresh, delicious, and made to order and the portions were definitely shareable. We started off with brunch cocktails and even received a comp croissant beignet appetizer which was absolutely amazing. They were flacky on the outside and butter soft inside with amazing Nutella dipping sauce. We decided to go with a green goddess salad with all the yummy veggies, French toast, and pancakes for the table. This is a great place to dine alone and with family, friends, or a brunch date. Its very farmhouse chic and cant what to go back and try more of the menu. They will always get a recommendation from me. This is the tale of two breakfasts! I ate brunch here on August 17th and paid a total $44.19 for Chicken Fried Chicken, Eggs, Hashbrowns with a side of Corn Beef Hash and Iced Tea to Drink. First off the Chicken Fried Chicken was delicious prepared very well good flavor and very crispy. The gravy had a lot of flavor as well no salt or pepper needed. I order three eggs over medium the yolk could have been a bit more runny. I didn't care for the has because it did not have any potatoes in it. Service was good but did not knock my socks off. The restaurant is decorated very nice and had a good vibe. I ordered a second piece of sourdough toast which tasted great hence the reason for a second piece. The real home made jam made the toast. When the bill came I was charged $4.50 for a single piece of toast. This was a ridiculous amount for a single piece of toast it was more than my iced tea. Really $2.00 for a piece of bread toasted seems like a reasonable price. I just finished breakfast at another breakfast spot up on University. I really can't compare apples to apples except for the addition pice of toast. $1.99 for two slices of toast. Over all meal was priced fair. The place was so crowded that it was ridiculous. Don't think the fire marshal would have been pleased with the crowd and the crowd management. The place was hot. HVAC was not good. We live right next to Fairview Farmers, so every time we pass by we always said we will go next week (and that has happened for the last 2 or so years lol). Well today was the day and FF did not disappoint at all! We absolutely loved all the food that we tried. I really liked the Buffalo Ranch bowl and me and my wife loved the pancakes. Hands down the best brunch I've ever had! Fair warning: the wait can be long on weekends, so get there early, it's worth it. I started with the matcha latte with oat milk and toasted marshmallow syrup, which was so good, and I did not expect it to come with a delicious little madeline garnish. Such a nice touch. We also got the fresh squeezed orange juice, and it tastes exactly like it sounds. So fresh we ended up taking a cup to go. For my entree, I got the corned beef hash bowl and cleaned my plate completely. My fiancé got the Lone Star burrito with a side of sausage gravy and said it was the best breakfast burrito he's ever had, which is saying a lot. We also shared the banana split brioche French toast, and there was so much of it we took some home. Portions are generous and everything tastes made with care. Our server Josh was excellent, too. However, the cinnamon roll French toast had the right amount of flavor, not too sweet pleasant surprise for my pallet. The bacon was thick, sausage and eggs were prepared the way we like it. Fairview Farmers is one of those places that is always brimming with energy and has excellent brunch vibes and ambiance. It's often busy and when you experience it, you'll understand why. The service is great and the food presentation is top notch. I've tried a number of dishes here and opted for the chicken and waffles today. In terms of chicken and waffles I've had in the DFW, I'd rate them here as average - some more seasoning/flavor to the chicken would bring it up a notch. That said, their omelettes are amazing and I'd highly recommend you try them when you visit. Also, the side of grits was quite tasty. All in all, rating them 4 stars for the ambiance, service, and food presentation. Just wouldn't recommend the chicken and waffles, but they have many other delicious dishes to choose from. read more

Huge shout out to Arber, who ushered us to our booth and then patiently waited until we got our breakfast order finalized while we sipped on our freshly brewed Coffee! If you get caught in a cross fire with one of their waiters, look out because customer service is not their priority folks! We've been loyal customers of Fairview Farmers for years. This is a place we've proudly recommended to family, friends, and even professional colleagues. My photos are often featured and I've written stellar reviews! Sadly, this last visit has left us questioning whether we'll ever return. While we've had many positive food experiences in the past, this time the customer service was deeply upsetting. Tania, our waitress who was working the counter already had an attitude when she approached us and chose to engage in an unnecessary and public argument over a simple pancake substitution. Instead of handling the situation professionally or kindly, she raised her voice and displayed a level of attitude that was both shocking and humiliating. What made this worse is that we had to de-escalate the situation ourselves by stating we were leaving. Even then, Tania continued the outburst. Another waiter stepped over to her told her to let us go, saying: "They're never coming back, let them go." That tells you a lot about the internal culture. In a truly surreal twist, a kind businessman (visiting from Dubai) who witnessed the entire exchange was so appalled by her behavior that he offered to buy our brunch and asked us to stay. We initially thought he was the owner based on how sincerely he apologized on the restaurant's behalf. He wasn't. But his kindness stood in stark contrast to Tania's behavior. Unfortunately, we chose to stay and tried to enjoy our meal .. but Tania intentionally made it hard for us to enjoy our meal. She hovered, smirked, and stared at us, clearly trying to make us uncomfortable. So I'm left wondering: Where was management? Why is it acceptable for a waitress to act so confidently rude in public? Her behavior made it clear this wasn't a one-time thing -- this was someone who feels empowered to mistreat customers with zero accountability. I hope the owners take this review seriously. If our years of loyalty and word-of-mouth promotion mean anything, we'd ask: do you support this kind of behavior? Is this the culture you stand behind? I haven't had corned beef hash in a long time, I used to make it at home but it can be high in sodium. But fairview's corned beef hash was worth every cent! It was so good. Love the Urban Chic styling of this place, we stopped by while out running errands. Could see from half a block away it was going to be a wait. This place is ALWAYS packed, especially on weekends! It was about a 20-30 minute wait for 2 ppl on a Sunday. The ambiance and vibes were really cute and home-y. The latte was amazing and the croissant beignets were so crispy and delicious. I had pretty high expectations for the main course and was a bit disappointed. I wasn't satisfied with the French toast, it was dry and pretty stale. I've had better at ihop or dennys. My husband liked his waffles at least! I hope to be back to try the other menu items.. Stopped by Fairview Farmers with a few friends who happened to be passing through town this morning around 7:30AM, since it was super close to my house and their hotel and one friend is celiac. Service and food were excellent and we had a great time. I ordered the biscuits and gravy as well as the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry butter, knowing I'd be able to take my leftovers home for my husband later. Portion sizes were huge and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Swedish pancakes, which were lightly sweet and paired perfectly with the whipped cream and tart lingonberry butter. The hash browns and biscuits and gravy were a tad on the saltier side but that was easily fixed with a sip of freshly squeezed orange juice. We weren't aware that the iced vanilla latte came with a Biscoff cookie that my celiac friend couldn't eat, but the barista swiftly took the drink back and remade it so there was no cross contamination. Later on our server remembered she'd also requested strawberries with her gluten free pancake and came back around to rectify that omission without being asked! We also had a water spill that was taken care of super quickly. All in all we had a great breakfast experience here and I can't wait to return in the future to sample more of their menu! read more

When we arrived here, there was a 10 minute wait which wasn't bad at all. We got a text confirming that our table is ready. Atmosphere inside was a perfect holiday setup that one would expect during this time of the day. I did order avocado toast, and sure enough I was treated with a visual delight of a dish. It had ample amount of pickled onions, seasoning, and cherry tomatoes to brighten up the entire setup. We also ordered the s'mores pancakes and it was a holiday on a plate. This seems to be a very, very popular and relatively new brunch place, and I enjoyed it here! I got iced cafe latte (+ sugar-free S'more syrup) and cherry almond cheesecake french toast. Both tasted amazing, and the artistic presentation of both were perfect. I really liked the latte because it had a very strong coffee aroma, unlike most other places where I didn't usually taste any coffee at all. The french toast was a very large portion for me, but considering its price ($18) it's reasonable. It had cheesecake cubes as toast topping and as the filling of that ice cream cone. I went on a weekday around 10 am or so and the entire restaurant was FULL. I did not expect that. And there were several groups of people waiting for a table. I got seated fairly quickly because it's just me. Then after I was done eating, there's a very long line extending along outside of the restaurant. They have a limitation of 90 minute dine-in time but they didn't seem to actually reinforce it. I stayed a little longer than that and nothing happened. I'd prefer to stay longer to read but I couldn't bare the full house of people and noisiness. The parking spots are limited. There are some at the back of the restaurant.
