It was the day after Thanksgiving and my granddaughter had come by for a breakfast adventure. She had never ridden in a convertible so,even though it was chilly out,I pushed the magic button and took the top down. Fun! Now,setting the Yelpfinder on New Place Delicious Breakfast,we sat back and the next thing you know, Morning Bliss. I'm not much of a waiter these days but,there was a 15 minute wait. No problem we caught up on what's going on at school. Art class,golf team etc. Before you know it,we were wisk to my favorite seating,a booth. The breakfast one side,lunch the other menu, is packed with choices, making decisions hard. We finally settled on pancakes, Belgium waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Monday late lunch, seated immediately and service was fast. Ordered BLT with crispy bacon and they delivered! My only somewhat of a complaint was that it had too much mayo. My husband ordered the burrito with a side of hash browns and loved it. Great food and great atmosphere. read more

Came here at peak brunch hours on a Sunday, and they were able to get us seated within 15 minutes. Our server was great, both our food and drinks arrived quickly. The restaurant was a little loud, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. My husband got the Tex Mex bowl, and he said it was the best brunch food he has ever had. Just needed to add more photos of their delicious breakfast! We enjoyed the strawberry covered pancakes, French toast dressed with mixed fruits, and a hot vanilla latte presented with a fall season touch. Pancakes had the perfect texture, as with the French toast. The sweetness to savory balance was the right amount to compliment the fruit. A friend and I have been having a bimonthly breakfast around town for about 2 years and it turned out slightly into finding the best spot for our average breakfast,. We have visited several spots and continued our quest not repeating a single breakfast place. Morning Bliss is where we stopped the quest and we have been back twice already. We usually order what we jokingly call "our sad breakfast" (given all the mouthwatering choices) which consists of eggs, -please-burn-it ultra crispy bacon and sides. There's something about the way they cook things here, that stood up over several Frisco places, it's simple but well executed. French toast and pancakes are good and their fruit is super fresh. Morning Bliss has a clean and modern aesthetic, if that's your thing; their coffee is great with plenty of refills, the service is attentive without being intrusive and we always leave pleased , super full and ready to come back. Only drawback on this last visit: I had a slice of cake to go, and it wasn't good. Maybe these are not made in house; the frosting tasted a bit like supermarket chain frosting, the one that come in buckets and it was suspiciously extra white to come from butter. Cake was moist, with a lot (maybe too much?) of sprinkles. Overall it was OK, but not on par with their wonderful food and definitely not worth the price IMO. read more

A great little place to grab breakfast or brunch. This is my first time in, but I will definitely be back! I ordered the Midas and I was not disappointed. The portion was more than expected. I had a cappuccino and it was fabulous. A love drink I did not have to add to- as a cappuccino should be. The place is clean and well appointed for a breakfast location. The service was wonderful. My waitress (Shelly) was very friendly, prompt with water and utensils and then very attentive throughout my meal. I did not feel rushed, but well waited on. Like I said, "I will be back." Note: I visited on a Monday morning at 10 and was seated and helped immediately. I had stopped by on Sunday, but people were waiting at the door. ( even at 1pm - they close at 2) Busy is a good sign of good food. I hope no one out there is standing and waiting for bad food and bad service. read more

We were warmly welcomed by several of the staff. My friend had a belgian waffle with bananas and strawberry glaze. She said it was amazing! I had the chicken carnita bowl, eggs scrambled, no cheese, add broccoli in place of the tomatoes. A side of still cut oatmeal with fig and honey. And a cup of mixed berries fruit. It was all amazing and the food presentation was above average! We don't live in the area, but if we lived closer, it would definitely be on my favorites list to return to. read more

It's been a bit hit-or-miss for me. On my first visit, I had the chicken Cobb salad and absolutely loved it -- fresh, flavorful, and something I'd definitely order again. Unfortunately, my second visit wasn't the same experience. I ordered the salmon salad and was immediately hit with a strong fishy smell. I couldn't eat it and mentioned it to the server, who acknowledged that their salmon salad does tend to have a noticeable fishy smell -- which made it seem like something they're already aware of. I also tried the carrot cake and was disappointed by how dry it was. Personally, if you're craving a really good carrot cake, Rosa's Café is still one of my favorites. Overall, I might come back for specific items I know I like, but consistency definitely seems to be an issue. read more

Stopped by for a late brunch after the grand opening of The Pie Dish, just a few doors down. Interior is bright & spacious & there's a display case of baked goods for sale. I ordered my standard breakfast of eggs & bacon with biscuits & gravy & some avocado (just to feel a bit healthy). Meal was filling & service was friendly & attentive. The anticipation of its opening and driving past this location daily, I have watched the construction process and am thankful for their opening this week. Stopping by on Saturday morning, it was quickly filling up. Plenty of booths, tables and window bar area. The breakfast and lunch menus look impressive with many options. I select a cup of coffee and the banana & fig oatmeal this morning. Great presentation and awesome flavors with the honey on top of the oatmeal. Honestly there hasn't been a place that wows me when it comes to breakfast. Our service was great and the portions were quite large; but the execution of the dishes I got were not that great. I ordered the southwest eggrolls and truth be told the ones from Chilis are better. Not sure what I was expecting with those. The short rib bowl came highly recommended so I got it with their house potatoes; should've went with hash browns. The potatoes were so crunchy and a little on the burnt side; made it different to enjoy the rest of the meal because you were chewing rocks. The short rib itself was decent; needed salt but the cheese was a little overkill; I just did not care for this dish. This place was not my jam. read more

I am calling age discrimination right now!!! The cute little curly-haired blond gave my daughter a 'look' when she asked not to be seated 'next to the bathroom'... WHY? Not happy with this place. Second time. Went twice less than a week ago and they have already removed items from their menu. I had the house potatoes they were so hard and not edible. The waiter couldn't care less when he saw we just dumped them all on another plate. The bacon was rubbery. Our bacon lover at the table was trying to give it away. Then we got French toast. This is my daughter's favorite meal and she devours it. She kept cutting all the crust which she never does. She said it was super hard and disgusting. First time I went we did not get all this food but mainly coffee. Their coffee is good and the place is well decorated but the food is awful and the prices are very high for the quality and amount of food. Morning bliss delivers with doing it right - no burning - served hot - simple decor and great people. It is not the closest to me, but the extra minutes make it worth it. I do not think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Plenty of parking with some wait seating outside & inside.
