Ratings of this place will depend on whether you're a local or you're visiting from out of the country. I grew up in Southern California with in-laws from The South, plus I lived in Texas. So here's my observations....
This place is on Zeppelin St so it's easy to get to: you can hop on the white Hensonville jeeps. It has a rustic theme with lots of wood, and communal picnic tables. Staff were uninterested but did the job needed. The steak portions are meant to be shared and you order per weight (gm/kg). Our party of 8 ordered a number of different cuts cooked medium. The meat tasted ok but they were fatty, gristly, chewy and lacking a good sear. Salad was fresh and crunchy. The fries and mashed potatoes were the best part of our meal.
My cousins enjoyed our meal, but it fell far below my standard for steak. read more
