Sizzlin' Steak reminds me of a slightly fancier version of Yoshinoya. Food is cooked up fresh and served sizzling hot on cast iron plates. The plate is surrounded by a paper barrier to protect you and your clothes from the splattering grease. I always order their Sizzlin' beef plate: it's a bit oily but I love the flavor. My hubby's meal came with a small bowl of egg drop soup that was pretty tasty. I tried their s'mores dessert which I liked, except for the faint burnt taste, maybe I should have asked for another plate to transfer it to, since the cast iron plate keeps cooking your food even though it's no longer on the stove. Service is friendly and efficient.
I definitely want to come back to try their Australian marbled steak, ribeye steak and tuna belly. I might even try their root beer float! read more
