This place is really beautiful, with fountains, gardens, vineyards, and cabanas. As I entered, the staff was really friendly and immediately offered me a glass of wine. We had reserved the entire outdoor cabana area, but since it was raining, we moved the party indoors. The indoor area is really nice with wooden tables and fresh flowers. What's nice is that we can bring food in, so we had food doordashed in. They also have games like corn hole and jenga available. It was a wonderful afternoon of eating, drinking, and walks around their vineyards. My coworker said she has attended a wedding and a birthday party here. This is a great venue for a special event. It's not as large as Concannon or Wente. It's rustic and charming. I'm not a wine drinker, so I can't comment on the quality of their wines.

I always have wonderful service with such nice staff who love to share their love of wine with my friends and I. I feel like each visit, I learn something new! We typically sit outside and bring our own snacks. Bent Creek feels homey, with no fluff or frills and having to act like we know what we're doing. The highlight of each visit is probably introducing my friends to ports with chocolate and how it changes the flavor! It's a pleasure to visit, and I can't wait to come back.

We stepped inside The old Barn and were greeted by the owner and winemaker himself, Brett. The barn was so cute, and honest. And Brett was so clearly passionate about his wines. It isn't often that you find this personal connection with a winery. Many of them are corporate today, and most owners have employees in the tasting room and are not there on a Saturday afternoon. That alone set Boaventura apart from most wineries. The wines were excellent! There wasn't one bad one in the ten that we tasted. That's pretty amazing, even for fantastically epic famous wineries. And to find that in Livermore Valley is even more awesome. I will absolutely return to Boaventura and I recommend it as a must-stop to all of my wine-loving friends. Meeting the owner, who is also the winemaker, and her family added a personal touch. She is also a pilot, which says a lot about her drive. She and her sons were there, welcoming guests and setting the tone for the experience. Every staff member was knowledgeable and genuinely warm. They clearly want you to have the best possible experience, whether you are new to wine or very experienced. You feel taken care of from the moment you arrive.
