This feedback is mainly for the company' as a whole. Wish i could do no stars at all Customer service sucks. People lie or dont honor their words. I called to cancel and that process was exhausting. I keep being told I am going to get a call back but never do. Anyways I finally was able to cancel and was told i wouldnt get charged but this morning i wake up and noticed I got charged. I did ask the rep to send me a confirmation email acknowledging the cancellation however didnt even receive that neither. Its called being ethical. Look into it. read more

Initially, company was responsive and personable. However, after spraying 50% of my perimeter and charging full price, they did not follow through on remediation. After initial treatment, they came back 3 weeks laters for another treatment and charged another $208. Emailed company 3 times but no response even though willing to pay for services. Poor customer once they have you as a customer. Field representatives were great but management and billing customer do not care. read more

We had a yellow jacket nest inside a dormer in our home and Ehrlich came out same day, an hour after calling once they opened in the morning. Came prepared with a bee suit and had all equipment needed to complete job. Upon leaving he noticed a yellow jacket nest in the ground in front yard, and took care of that as well. Very nice and professional. Charged 100 bucks more than Americas best, but americas best only wanted to come out and look, then come back at later time to complete job; Erlich did everything at same time no issues. read more

billing department is dishonest and deceptive. Customer service harasses you with false billing information. Do NoT use this company. They respond once and continues to bill you for services that they do not do. It is not worth the harassment you will receive from this company. they should be ashamed of themselves. read more

If I could give a ZERO I would. BEWARE if you use this company. If they do any damage to your home they will do ANYTHING THEY CAN to weasel out of it. I do not say this lightly as my father retired from Erhlich after many years of service. They installed termite bait station traps and punctured the drain system in our basement window well, unbeknownst to us. It caused flooding in our basement. When the contractor repaired the window well he discovered the source of the flooding. Erhlich denies any responsibility and we are out thousands of dollars from flood damage plus an unnecessary replacement of a window we thought was faulty....which was not. read more

I was told the Beltsville office was in charge of my DC area. The billing is deceptive and disorganized. They deducted twice the amount two times and are not correcting the mistake after 6 weeks and 9 calls with promises. They bought out Connors Pest Control and are frustrating to work with with no one ever responsible time to talk to. Sounds like employees working from home leaving messages and not giving out names or phones of actual billing people. read more

I called Ehrlich pest control to set up a visit to spray for cockroaches. We arranged a time to come out and they took a credit card number to put a hold on my account of $225. The day of the visit, July 17, came around and I received a call from the actual technician. He cancelled, but said someone from the Frederick office would call to reschedule. I let a week go by and then another week, when they finally called, the office had no idea my scheduled appt had been cancelled. They were calling to set up a subsequent appt. By that point I was fed up and told him I would not be doing business with Ehrlich. Several days later, Aug 7, now 3 weeks past my original appointment date, I noticed the hold was still on my account, so I called them to get it taken off. The representative said she'd take care of it. The next day, the hold had become a full charge. I called them and they said they'd take care of it. A few days later, it was still there. I called again and they said their refund process was a multi-day process that I was in the first stage of.. I told her I expected a phone call the next Monday, Aug 14 to tell me the refund had been processed... She said she would try and make sure that happened. It's now Aug 16, and still no refund, no calls. This company is borderline criminal. I was forced to file a credit card charge back. By the way folks, Terminix was cheaper. read more

Worst back office people in the world. We had them for our maintenance while living in MD. In November our house went under contract. We call Ehrlich to do the inspection for the new owners mortgage. At that same time we cancelled our service. Well now I keep getting maintenance bills from a Danielle for services rendered in Feb, Mar, April. To boot no service was provided. Just a bill. So they fail to cancel, bill without providing a service and are too stupud to cancel. If they had 0 stars it would fit better read more

Ehrlich has Always been a reliable Pest control company in all the years My relatives and I have patronized their services. Every experience with Ehrlich is always professional, courteous, and polite. The staff are wonderful at answering questions about pests. Monty who was here today to spray is very professional and did great work today. He was not afraid to walk down stairs to the basement and is fearless in his work against pests. This company is deplorable. We have showed them several times the damage started from carpenter ants and they continued to tell us they weren't carpenter ants. Now have damage! Nobody showed up for may appt which was scheduled in person during previous appt. after complaining to office, tech shows up at 6:45AM to LOOK and wasnt even prepared to do service. Said he would do service next day...... no show AGAIN..... blah blah Cancelled July 10th and still charged my account july 11 and Aug 13. WTH???? DO NOT USE THEM read more

We have been using them for several years now. They had to come out and remove a couple yellow jacket nests, and they come out and treat our home throughout the year for spiders, mice, etc. We have never had a problem with them whatsoever. Can't say enough about good these guys. Here's the scenario....townhouse for sale, open house on Sunday and late Friday we determine that there's a birds nest in the bathroom exhaust fan duct that is stinking up the entire first floor. I did a quick google search and came across J C Erlich Pesr Control. Called them at 8:30 am on Saturday morning and 2 hours later the problem is solved. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, professional, courteous and helpful. Justin, the dipatcher, contacted me at least 5 times to ensure the issue was dealt with. Mark, the technician, showed up on time, dealt with the issue and even went above and beyond to point out and solve a different but related problem.....and I was a new customer. Imagine how they service their existing customers. Give these guys your business! read more

I'm writing this review because I'm very unhappy with this company, I specifically got this service for Mosquito's, Stink bugs and Mice. Which I also specifically said I do not want the traps that have those Bait stations because My Pomeranian will eat the poison because the mice or rats will leave pieces everywhere low and behold they place bait stations which he stated that I just wasn't loading the stations with the correct bait. and ensured that my dog couldn't get to the ones he set up. I have dead mice laying around and found out that the dead mice are more poisonous than the actual bait if they get ahold of the animals that have ingested the poison that its even more deadly. Now My dog is drooling out of her mouth and panting which I'm pretty sure its due to whatever critter has now got into the poison. Trip to the vet we go I called and cancelled Ehrlich to complain they have not one care in the world. If My dog dies because of their product I'm going to sue the crap out of them. If you have pets do not use this company. all I wanted was mosquitos and stink bugs. read more

Don't bother. They're so short staffed, nobody comes when they're suppose to show up. When they do, the last guy was so lazy he wouldn't even climb one flight of stairs to go look where I said the issue was. He didn't bother bringing any ladder, nothing to get him to where the possible issues are. Nope...been trying for nearly a month. 24/7/365 service..right....yeah....they do...like 24 days, 7 hours and 365 seconds from first reporting the problem and it STILL is not fixed. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I hired Ehrlich pest control because I have a serious bee/wasp problem on my deck. I believe the issue lies with the wasps potentially having a nest on the roof. However, none of the 3 technicians who came out would treat the roof, even after customer service assured me this is exactly what they would do. The second technician who came out on a Saturday told me he would take the bee bodies to 'study' them and would have someone come out to take a look at my roof. By Wednesday, when I hadn't heard anything, I called Ehrlich. I was told there was nothing in the record of notes about another visit. I was promised a call back by the end of business on Wednesday. Receiving no such call, I called Ehrlich back Thursday and was told a technician would come out Friday between 1-5. The technician that came out did not bother to cover his shoes when he came into my home. When we got up onto the deck he told me there was no bee repellent and he wasn't sure what I expected him to do. I explained that my bee problem seems to originate with the roof and on any given day I see dozens of bees flying back and forth. He said he would not be able to get up onto the roof to deal with it. When I explained that I had been told by the company that was precisely why they were sending him out, he said that was impossible and that they wouldn't put a technician on the roof. To be fair, my townhouse if 4 stories high, but not only was that information given, but the 2 prior technicians informed me they could indeed send someone out to treat the roof. Additionally, with that information given, if getting on the roof was impossible, why was I told by multiple people this would be no issue? The customer service and actual service provided by this company is a joke. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Excellent customer service. I sent in an inquiry late one night and received a call from Jeff the next morning before I even had a chance to make coffee. My schedule is challenging this week and even though he had a packed schedule, he made time to come out to my house. Unfortunately I needed something out of their scope because it involved being on the roof, which they don't do. I hope I never have a need for any of their services, but if I do, they will definitely be my go to. read more

I have been using Ehrlich monthly service for more than 5 years. They do a fantastic job at regularly scheduled (3x per year) visits as well as a quick response to whenever I have an immediate problem. I would recommend them to anyone. Ehrlich is the worst! An inspector was in my apartment not once but twice and did a haphazard inspection, spent less than five minutes time combined over both visits and says I had bedbugs. This person would not give his name or provide a business card, but the apartment manager where I live said his name was Jeff. He was rude and condescending and seems to be more in the business of creating grief for people than actually helping them. I had to go out and hire another company (Enviro-Tech, who get five stars from me) to come in an do an inspection in order to be able to fend off this jackass company. I knew I did not have bedbugs. Jeff is apparently running a scam. He must work on commission, Do not use this company. They are unprofessional and apparently just want to make money. I can't believe they tout themselves as a "green" company when all they want to do is spread chemicals in my home unnecessarily. read more

Win Roby does a great job! The day before a family Easter dinner, we discover tiny brown ants on the family room. We called Ehrlich asking for Win's help. The next day following treatment the ants were gone and don't reappear. Another incident, we found yellow jackets in the finished basement recreation room. Again we called Ehrlich and asked for Win. The next day following Win's treatment the yellow jackets were dead and have not reappeared. Thanks to Ehrlich and Win's responsive service we remain pest fee! read more

Can I give zero stars? This company is a huge FRAUD! Do not use this company. Like other people have stated- all they want is your money. Called them for a mouse problem in my home. The first time this company came out they were over two hours late (no call of apology or letting me know). The "technician" walked around my basement setting down glue traps I could easily buy at the local hardware store. Then he sprayed some kind of chemical. He offered no real solutions and did not seem to know what he he was doing. Then he told me he was going to walk around the perimeter and do an inspection for ways the mice were getting into the house. Well, this was at 8:00pm and it is pitch black outside. I told he he should probably return another time in the daylight but he did not seem interested in that idea. Then he explains how I can call the company at any time if I have a pest problem and he makes insane claims like "there will be no bugs in your yard- not even ants". I felt like I was on a tv show where they prank people. At the end of our time, I signed for "the work" and was told there would be no pay until after the second follow up appointment. We set a time for the following week, I confirmed, he sent an email describing the work he did, and showing when our next appointment would be. Next week comes and he does not show. No call, no explanation. When I call the company, they said they had no record of him coming out. At this point, like others have said on yelp, I was done with this company. I had no faith in their competency. Imagine my surprise when they tell me they have already charged my credit card for $250- for which they did not even finish. Trying to get a refund has been exhausting- I have spent weeks calling this company with no progress. THEY ARE A SCAM! Please do not use them.... read more
