Finally broke down and got the Sentricon system for my very old house to keep the termites out. Home Paramount was right, the moderate extra cost is so worth it for the peace of mind I have now. My inspector was here today - another excellent report. He was, as always, very thorough, careful, knowledgeable and professional. I know him because they don't have a ton of turnover. Had inspector Dan for years (who I think retired); for the past couple of years it's inspector John, but same great service. Whatever you do, do not let this company replace your attic insulation they are very incompetent in doing this. They made a mess of my upstairs with over spray and dust everywhere. They broke my attic stair and my outside walkway. They said that their contractor would make repairs but once they received the estimate they began telling me that the cost was too high. When i gave pricing from my contractor they also said it was too high. They settled by giving me a check for less then 1/3 the cost. The machine providing the blown insulation broke outside the front of my house with insulation everywhere. They destroyed landscaping and just made a mess of everything. We were thrilled with our service from Home Paramount. We had to have a termite inspection done for our VA loan. I called and they got us scheduled for the next day. (sweet!) Adam N. came out and did a fantastic job. Courteous and quick. He also pointed out some other things we could choose to get done if we wanted to in the future. (but wasn't pushy about it at all) He told us it would be a few days to get the inspection info/paperwork over to us, but he went to his truck, did all the paperwork and hand delivered it to us a few hours later. We were blown away- how awesome is that? It makes the crazy VA loan process so much easier when you have people like Adam N. helping you out. As luck would have it a few weeks later, we needed to show proof of payment for the termite services and I didn't have a receipt to prove it. I called their 1-800 number and they emailed over an invoice right away. Customer service at its finest! I hired Home Paramount to do exclusion work ($450) on my home to help address issues with mice. I'm not a subscriber to Home Paramount pest control regular services, so this was a one-time deal. The exclusion service came with a 30-day warranty. I tried to utilize the warranty within the 30-day period because mice were still getting in my home after the exclusion work. Alvin, a sales manager, decided to argue with me over the phone and was refusing to offer exclusion service support under warranty. Alvin was extremely rude and disrespectful. He was yelling at me (yes, shouting at me) and didn't want to address the warranty. Rick, a Home Paramount service tech, was standing next to me with Alvin on speaker and Rick was shaking his head the whole time in disbelief of the way I was being treated by Alvin. Apparently one of the service techs even lied to Alvin about a portion of the original exclusion work. Alvin said that I refused the caulking portion of the original service because "I didn't like the color of the caulk." That was absurd, I was told at the time of service by the tech (Matt) that he didn't have any caulk with him in the truck. My experience with this company was bad. Communication was messy and all over the place between the branch manager Ofelia, Alvin, and service techs. It became a "he said, she said" situation with no one to be held accountable. I won't be recommending Home Paramount to anyone. It's completely unacceptable to be treated with such disrespect. I still can't believe that Alvin was shouting at me as if we were in some kind of personal dispute. This is business, come on. I don't feel safe around this company and you probably won't either. Will never use this company again. Apparently...Customer Service is not PARAMOUNT like they claim. Alvin arrived at my home on June 7, 2016. I signed the contract to fix an opening in the attic, fog it, cover outside vents to prevent wasps and cover the weep holes to prevent wasps from entering. Alvin told me he would also be there to supervise. He also said, " the techs would cover the room with plastic to minimize debris falling on the furniture, the floor, and that they would wear coveralls over their uniform. " When they arrived at 8:00am on June 17th, they were very unprepared. No coveralls to put on, and probably did not cover the furniture/rug as there was insulation on the carpeting and throughout. I had to ask them to put shoe booties on. Also, Alvin did not show up with them. Techs said they were going to fix the opening and fog the attic, and I reminded them that they were also there to also cover the vents and weep holes. They responded. "it's not on the work order." One of the techs called Alvin, and he told them they were to fix only the right corner of the attic, (which made me wonder.... were there more openings, and they were going to be ignored), fog the attic, screen the vent covers and the weep holes. Supposedly it was not on the work order to screen the vents or weep holes. I took them to the attic opening and they shooed me out of the room. After they fogged the attic, the tech told me they needed to come back Monday to fix the opening in the right hand corner, but they fixed other openings (Hmmm....didn't Alvin say there was only one opening), they said they needed a smaller guy fix it. They would also return to cover the vents and weep holes. They fogged the attic with the one opening still not fixed. Hmmmm...isn't that like closing the barn door after the horse is out. I noticed pieces of insulation down the stairways, it was obvious that the bedroom was not covered because there were pieces of insulation that were on the carpeting. I called Alvin. The first thing he said was, "I'm in a bad mood." Well too bad.....I am not thrilled that the work performed was not like it was stated it would be. I did not say that but thought it. I told him I should not have to clean up the insulation pieces, and they did not wear coveralls that would be discarded like he stated they would. I requested that when they come back on Monday, June 20, 2016, they need to bring a vacuum with them to clean up the mess. Alvin said he would call me back, but he didn't. Now it is Monday June 20, 2016. Troy the manager was with them, and he said I would not have to deal with Alvin anymore. The one tech showed up with coveralls, (I believe there were three techs that showed up) but I still had to request that they cover the furniture, and I asked where the vacuum was. They said in the truck. I requested that they bring it in to vacuum the mess left behind previously. Granted it was not that big a mess, but none the less they should have cleaned it up the first time. The smaller tech (their wording not mine) went into the attic. Hopefully it was repaired, but I am not able to go up there and check the work product. They proceeded to fix the the vent covers with bird cages. I thought to myself these techs need babysitting (Troy did not seem to be doing a good job of supervising ). I said, "Is home paramount in the pest control business"? I said, "how is a bird cage going to keep out wasps, and look, there is one trying to get in there now. I said you need some type of screen to keep them out." Anyway....they told me they would run to Home Depot to get screening. MIND YOU THEY HAD 10 DAYS TO GET THE ITEMS THEY NEEDED TO MAKE REPAIRS TO KEEP PESTS OUT. I said to them, "I don't think Home Paramount likes favorable reviews." They did not respond. They returned from Home Depot and screened the cages. After they finished, Troy came to the door and said they needed to come back with the weep covers, and he would talk to the regional manager to see what he could do. I thought this meant a reduction in the cost since it cost me $500. dollars to have the work done. Since Home Paramount's motto is "Customer Service is Paramount", I thought they would try to make things right since I gave up two mornings of my time at this time. After all we all make mistakes, but to make them right is the proper thing to do if "Customer Service is Paramount." ." I was told at some point the weep holes would be repaired, but no reason given as to why they weren't at this point. After an email and several phone calls, they came to fix the weep holes, but only fixed 4 out 11. Once again, I had to call and ask why the others were not fixed. On July 6, 2016, the reaming weep covers were finally repaired. I gave up three mornings of my time for a 2 hour job that took weeks. I can say Customer Service is not Paramount. Had Home Paramount Pest control quarterly service for many years. I called them to investigate the possibility of rodents in my house and was given an estimate to have all my insulation removed and replaced for almost ten thousand dollars. He could not provide proof of the severity of the problem he said I had. I suggested treatment for the pests and the inspector did not want to address baiting and trapping. I obtained a second opinion from another exterminator and it was shown that Home Paramount's response was not warranted, or justified. I did not have an infestation and did not have evidence that pests were in my insulation. It appears they only wanted my money and knew what they were going to sell me before arriving to my house. I used this company years ago in Aberdeen Md. I was selling my house and I wanted to make sure there where no termites. The man seemed to know what he was talking about and he told us there where no signs of termites. Less than a month later we sold our home to a relative and low and behold; they had an infestation of termites. I even had one of the bugs I caught in a plastic bag and he could not see it was a termite. This was many years ago hopefully, he no longer work at this company! read more

. I called the landlord February mid-month and obtained quotes for him. He selected HP and they started early March. We have had at least two guys show up. Still have the squirrels. We also still have the traps, which the squirrels took the bait from. Have enough problems reaching these guys to get them to show up. I doubt the landlord will get rid of the squirrels with this company. He should have used Terminex. read more
