New owners, new menu, new ambience, OH MY!!!! Honestly, this review is long overdue. My husband and I have been coming here since they re-opened in 2024, and it's so so so good. From the second you walk in, you feel as though you've stepped into railroad dining car with an industrial modern feel. The details in the tilework at the door, the bar area, and entire dining room automatically make you want to cozy up for a cocktail and stay a while. It's easy to stay for a while -- fantastic cocktails are crafted with perfection by bartenders who dress the part. The food is created by magicians in the kitchen that serve up delectable dishes time and time again. What a fantastic addition to downtown Warwick! We came to Eight x Sand on a Friday night and loved the vibe right away...dim lighting, tasteful decor, and a live DJ setting the mood with a great mix. Super chill but still lively, exactly the kind of energy you want heading into the weekend. First off--the drinks were excellent..I had to try their espresso martini, and it was spot on. Smooth, bold, and just the right balance, easily one of the best I've had locally. They also have fun cocktails that look as good as they taste (my passion fruit martini came out with a dried fruit garnish that made it feel extra special). Food-wise, everything we tried was a hit. We started with a round of fresh oysters on ice, served with lemon wedges and a flavorful mignonette--clean and briny, perfect with a cocktail. For mains, I went with the seafood stew loaded with shrimp, clams, and fish in a rich tomato broth, served with crusty bread to soak it all up. Across the table, the steak frites was hearty and cooked just right, paired with crispy golden fries and garlicky spinach. We wrapped things up with a light dessert, donuts with raspberries and powdered sugar, which was a nice finish without being too heavy. Stopped in for Brunch while visiting Warwick on a Friday, it was just us and the owner (plus some of the owners friends) so we really got a good feel for the place and great attentive service. We started with a few drinks; I got their weekend special of a pear/elderflower drink and my aunt grabbed a glass of Rosé. She works in the wine industry and was really pleased with the wine selection! For food, three of us ordered the Chicken Sandwich and one of us got the chicken & waffles. The sandwich was good, the chicken is cooked REALLY WELL but each sandwhich had a different spice level. It comes with hot honey but mine wasn't really hot at all and the one they gave my grandmother was SPICY. So I would try to work on the consistency. But overall a great time and it would be nice to come back. read more

Came here for dinner. There was a mix up with our table so it took a while to get seated. We didn't mind, we sat in the waiting area which was close to the piano, we ordered charcuterie. This was one of the best charcuterie boards that I have ever had. There were four of us and it fed us all pretty well. When we sat we had some burgers and they were very good. The restaurant is a vibe especially for that area. The live music is nice and the decor is stylish. Definitely recommend :) read more

Its a beautiful spot right in the heart of Warwick with live music. The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. I started with the Deviled Eggs, they are creamy, with a zip of Korean spice from gochujang with seaweed and caviar on top. All the flavors worked together fabulously. For my entree I went with a Special, the Wagyu and Pork Bolognese. The pasta was cooked al dente and the Wagyu and Pork came together with a nice shaved Parmesan on top. I ordered buttermilk fried chicken and waffles, and to be blunt, the waffles were chewy. A waffle should br crips not chewy. The buttermilk fried chicken was ok but plopped on top of the waffle. The fries were warm not hot and the burger was ok. I ordered The Daisy maragrita, spicey and it was not spicy. Unfortunately. Cute place will give it another go next time passing thru. read more

We all ordered hamburgers and I have to say the roll was stale and the hamburger was the size of a silver dollar I don't know where they get off charging you that much for a burger that you could eat in three bites the martini glasses was the smallest I have ever seen, and they were only 3/4 filled.I don't think I will ever go back there. Walked in 30 minutes before they closed the lunch menu and was greeted by a very nice young lady bar server/tender Danielle who accommodated me with a drink and a menu. As I gazed around I noticed the beautifully detailed interior which was thoughtfully designed and would only bring me to the conclusion that everything else in my experience today would be highly pleasing as well. I also liked the concept of the open kitchen. Unfortunately because of my timing today I was unable to experience the dinner menu which I'll definitely be back for in the very near future. And from the pictures that I viewed I'm sure it will be wonderful as expected. While eating at the bar (delicious food) I had a small conversation with who I thought was a manager person. Also a very sweet young lady. Thank you for the great experience. I was so looking for a place like this and got lucky. Terrible Staff. Walked into sit myself at the bar with two girls, one the "manager", fighting at the pos system in the corner of the bar in a near empty resturant with only one other party in it. Very awkward to sit down to. Waited 5 minutes to be greeted by a timid bartender. $16 for a Bloody Mary and $19 for a two-egg Omlette, a bite of dressed greens and bread with holes in them that could all be eaten in two bites. For an upscale restaurant promoting "ambiance", you definitely don't get it here and are better off spending your money at Fannie's a few doors down for Brunch or at 100 Main or Landmark in a mile or so up the road with parking for dinner. I'm a local and have seen said "manager" eat elsewhere, like Cafe a la Mode if you're looking for a more casual bite. read more
