During a trip to Hewitt we decided to drive out to Warwick. We've been to Warwick before but never the downtown area. We googled places to eat in the area and were excited to try out Eddies Roadhouse. The Roadhouse is quaint, but charming. There were signs about trivia nights and the place seemed very popular, filling up as we had our lunch. I enjoyed the watermelon margarita and my husband got an IPA.. The food was out quickly and did not disappoint! The onion rings in the garlic aioli burger and fries were sooooo good! My tacos were also incredible and so filling. My wife had the day off, so we took a trip out to Warwick for lunch. After seeing the great feedback on Yelp, we decided on Eddie's Roadhouse, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a nice, intimate bar with fantastic vibes. We opted for a couple of seats at the bar. The bartender was attentive and quick, getting our drink orders started right away. The Food * Pot Pie Duo (Appetizer): As a huge fan of pot pies, I have to say these were outstanding. It comes with two mini pies--one chicken and one corned beef--served over a bed of cheesy parsnip purée and black pepper gravy. The flavors were rich and unique. * The Disco Burger: This was cooked to perfection. It was served over a bed of gravy, which was an interesting and delicious twist on a classic burger. * Green Goddess Chicken Sandwich: My wife really enjoyed this one. She said the chicken was delicious and the flavors were very fresh. Between the great service at the bar and the high-quality comfort food, we had a perfect lunch. Eddies Roadhouse will always be a classic in Warwick! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town! The smash burgers are my absolute favorite, with some truffle fries! My food has always tasted fresh and seasoned with love, a while back they had an alcoholic chai drink on the menu that was to die for and I often catch myself craving it! The service is always amazing, as the server will constantly check on you, your food & needs. They're super friendly and quick and accommodating. I think for the price, you get perfect sized portions and quality food! It may be hard to get a table some nights due to limited hours but its most definitely worth the wait. Stopped to check this place out. I ordered the salmon tacos (you get 3 tacos) and I absolutely loved them. The fish was cooked just right. There was a really yummy sauce and it had a salsa with small cubes of pineapple. When I saw it on menu I wasn't sure if I would like pineapple in it, but it really works all together. Back again 10/19/2024 Always love coming to Eddie's when we're apple pickin'. Sat at the bar since (on a Saturday) the place was PACKED at 2:30 in the afternoon. I went for the Halibut taco and my wife had the grilled chicken "sammich". My husband and i had been wanting to come here for years, we finally the chance this past weekend. We didn't think this place was kid friendly since it's small and looks like just a bar from the outside. Boy we're We wrong! There were families with young kids and people of all ages and ethnicities. The staff is extremely welcoming to everyone. We sat at the bar and our bartender was great. We had a few beers and for food I had a chicken and waffle sandwich which had an apple pie slaw and it was out of this world. My husband had a chicken parm sandwich which was also amazing. We both couldn't finish our sandwiches so we heated them up in the airfryer the following day and they were still so very good. We wanted to go to breakfast but the restaurant we frequent for breakfast was on vacation. And we just heard that Eddie's Roadhouse is serving breakfast from Thursday to Friday so we have been everywhere in town being that we live here so we gave it a chance. AND. ... Go here While they are still doing breakfast don't miss this. They have a chef creating wonderful delicious food. Scrambled eggs that resemble delicate Japanese style scrambled eggs and the fried egg was cooked perfectly. My taste buds detected no "Sysco" breads or sauces. No, instead they're making homemade stuff. I was blown away and I publicly resind my previous comments. Went there for lunch today. Trying not to be too over-the-top, but the food there is James Beard level. No exaggeration. The place is very cozy and the cocktail menu is extremely imaginative. He started with the cranberry barbecue chicken meatballs, and it blew us away. The barbecue sauce is phenomenal and the fried rice you get with it is delicious. My wife and I each had a burger. My wife had a chili cran-burger and I had the fall foliage burger. My wife loved hers, especially the cranberry barbecue sauce and the fried green tomato. Hard to describe all the great flavors on the fall foliage burger, but it included an apple hash and Gruyère cheese. The burger and the cheese by themselves would've been phenomenal, but the additions brought it up another level. Plus, the burger was on a very hearty brioche roll, which absolutely held its own considering the burger itself was pretty damn big. Service was phenomenal. It's a 55 minute drive for us to Warwick and we will be going back for sure. read more

The staff was very accommodating and held a table for us. The food was good and the portions were very generous. The staff is clearly all on board with the vision of this restaurant. Highly recommend. We were actually planning on heading straight back to NYC but drove by Eddie's Roadhouse and made a game time decision to stay for dinner. We were told the wait was about 1.5 hours so we put our name down anyways and walked around, got some coffee, got some dessert, and went back to the restaurant and waited some more. The host was super kind about updating us on when we could get seated. When we finally got 2 seats at the bar, we realized it was actually a small restaurant. The staff and crowd was so kind and welcoming and everyone seemed comfortable and just hanging out. The food was outstanding. We shared an order of the mac and cheese, I got the Lousiana hot chicken, and my fiance got a burger. For drinks, we had the apple cider margarita and espresso martini on the rocks. Everything was so good and we had lots of leftovers and thoroughly enjoyed it the next day. This is a great bar! Food portions were huge and such creative menu items, I wanted to try so many things because the descriptions and combos of ingredients sounded interesting. The cheesesteak that I had consisted of "coffee filet mignon" and it was wonderfully soft and flavorful. Calamari was cooked to the perfect texture as well. And the shrimp po boy breading was delicious and generous, and the shrimp pieces were huge as well. We came on a Friday afternoon and sat at the bar so it wasss a little louder than preferred if you're trying to have a conversation. But still very good experience overall! read more

I cannot say enough great things about (1) the Steak Frites, (2) the Cauliflower Bites, and (3) the Korean Sticky Boneless Wings ... they are literally THE. BEST. Also - you cannot go wrong with the Ramen - when it's on the menu - because like any great spot in Warwick, it changes based on what's locally available. AND ... the beeeeers ... the beers are always great - Eddie's is a true craft beer bar with no TVs... so you actually have to have a conversation and hang out with the people you're with. Stopped in yesterday with the family after getting our Christmas tree. I would suggest for this time of year to call a head they're very busy (which is a good thing). The food was on point! The flavor combinations on my Louisiana Hot Chicken Sandwich was outstanding! The kitchen is putting out great flavors you won't be disappointed when you eat here they change up their menu weekly (just a heads up). The front of house runs like a well oiled machine from what we saw. I highly recommend this restaurant, I'm giving it 4.5 stars only because there is always room for improvement some place. We've been to eddie's a few times and the food is consistently good. Frequently restaurants offer variety at the expense of quality, that isn't a problem here. They may offer cuisine ranging from tacos to chicken parm to burgers but they're all done VERY well. Drinks are a smidge over priced (not the cocktails but the wine and beer) but worth the experience. read more

A real gem here in Warwick. Sometimes hard to get in but we were lucky to go there last night (a Thursday) and sat at the bar. Bartender was lovely! I got the PB& J burger which sounded strange but I was intrigued, and it was so delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly to the medium temp I requested and the toppings worked! We hadn't planned on eating here since the name gave us visions of a dive bar with bikers, TVs and right wing types. However... this was exactly the opposite. A pub atmosphere with an excellent bar and creative dishes. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the local couple next to us for the next 90 minutes. Really a fun time and not too loud. We stopped by this cute little spot in the middle of downtown Warwick for brunch on Sunday. It's a small space and it was crowded so we got the last table which was directly in front of the door and it was freezing outside! (Probably not the best spot for a table but I guess they try to fit as many as possible in there). Their drink menu is awesome. They have lots of craft beers and interesting cocktails. I ordered the Spritz which was similar to a traditional Aperol Spritz but I thought it was even better. As per our waiter's recommendation, we ordered the buffalo Brussels sprouts and they were amazing! I don't even like Brussels sprouts but these were battered and covered with bacon and blue cheese and buffalo sauce.. so yummy! I also got a create your own burger with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. I ordered it medium and it came out less cooked than that but it was a still really good! Stopped of here with the Hubby, Sister-in-Law and Mini-Me. First time and after reading the reviews I couldn't wait. First we literally go parking across the street on a SAT NIGHT!! so cool, and we walked in - seating at the corner table in front of main window- another awesome point... But kinda where it ends. Ordered ice teas's and took 10 min, another 20 for sweetener. Hubby had the Stix burger, Mini-Me ordered the ribs, I had the Roman Conqueror with chicken and my Sister In-law got the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich. The ribs were very very peppery, so much that Mini-Me offered them to me and I couldn't even eat them- They came home.The Roman salad was good but the chicken was laid on the side and kinda looked like an after thought, it wasn't even a whole breast or even half, it was rubbery- BUT loved the anchovies and shaved cheese the dressing was very light so I did ask for extra but it came another 15 min later and by that time Mini-Me had eaten most of the salad without the dressing since she was so hungry. My Sister likes her sandwich and took half home for a midnight snack. Anyway, I think we spent more time waiting for our food and drinks then we spent enjoying the food. I would say, its a 50/50 shot we will be back, I don't get up this way very often and I try to stop at a new place each time. The place is small, but cozy the staff is friendly and the beer selection has something for every one. I would like to give 4 stars but Caesar salad is hard to mess up and being a gastropub the ribs have got to step up, pepper is a good seasoning but it shouldn't over power the main attraction. read more

So my boyfriend has been here several times with his cousin and they love it. Tonight was my first night and I was BLOWN away by how good this food was. I was actually mad at my boyfriend for not taking me here sooner. Obviously wasn't the best if you're ~watching you figure~ but if you are going to treat yourself THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. We ordered the Mac and cheese fully intending not to finish it because we wanted to "save room" for our meals haha, but it was SO good! We had to put the rest in a to go box before dinner came so we would stop eating it. I ordered the "chipotle vodka parm sandwich" which was amazing and also massive. I only ate half and was insanely full. My boyfriend ordered the garlic aioli burger which was again amazing and portion was big. I took pictures, half way through eating of the fries and my sandwich and my boyfriends burger so sorry it doesn't have the best aesthetic halfway through eating! Also, I called asking if they took reservations. The man who answered the phone explained to me that they will try their best to reduce my waiting time -- when we got there I was fully expecting to wait a little being they explained this could be a possibility on the phone AND it's a Saturday night, but they sat us immediately.
