Because I've stuck with running - and because I have a history of plantar fasciitis (repaired with two surgeries) - I decided to treat myself to a shoe fitting and new pair of running shoes. Al, who helped me on my visit, could not have been nicer or friendlier. He asked me a few questions about my running, what shoes I'm currently wearing or have previously worn, and then he did the foot scan. After reviewing it with me, he brought up four different running shoes for me to try on - Hoka, Asic, New Balance and Brooks. He was well-versed in the differences between each and was helpful in parsing through what I liked (or didn't) in each pair. After I selected the winner, he checked inventory for my preferred colorway. They didn't have it in stock but assured me it would be delivered on Monday from another location. He recommended a pair of socks, too, and made the checkout process super quick. On Monday afternoon, I called the store to see if the shoes were in (a little eager to go on a run). Jane was kind enough to check to see if they were there and let me know they were. I went for a run after picking them up, and am super happy with my selection. The amount of cushion is perfect for me, and I could feel a difference in my pace. My heels didn't hurt at all when I finished, which is a huge win for me and my bionic foot! I'll definitely be back for future running shoe needs. This was a great experience, and I'm so glad I stopped in!

Lots of On Cloud and Hoka women's shoe options. Had a really good experience with the checkout line, I wish I could remember her name. Even though the shoes didn't ring up with the price on the box, she make the adjustment without any issues. In addition, she was savvy enough to know how to make split a credit card payment when using one of those annoying Visa gift cards and a regular credit card. Usually when those two issues occur, you get stuck in line forever - but with her it was a breeze!

The store was much larger & not busy. I ended up with Oliver who helped me with finding my correct size in the 550's & the return process was a painless! Even better, he was able to re-order a pair for me in my correct size & same pricing. I was ecstatic. 3 days later, my replacement arrived & I couldn't be happier. On a whim, I decided to head out and check out the new store. I purposely left my debit card at home and went *shopping* with my iPhone camera. I conveniently parked in the onsite parking lot and went in. I immediately noticed that the store feels a bit sparse and airy, but it's probably because everything is nicely organized and well curated. Off to the right you'll find a nice selection of handbags and a somewhat hidden checkout counter. You'll find name brand sunglasses, and a nice selection of workout clothes (don't miss the 70% off rack). Like any outlet store, you can be expected to to spend some time browsing the sale racks. But it's worth it, because I spotted a great blazer I would come back and purchase to wear with jeans. The coat selection is great. Though I don't want to think about coat shopping, this would be a good time to do it before the men's and women's coats are picked over. There is a men's section in the back. On to the shoes. If you're a woman size 8-8.5, I found that size to have the most variety. They have newer shoes, only slightly discounted, mixed with sale shoes. I would come back for a special outfit for a special occasion. As far as everyday shopping, I would have to come back with more time in my schedule...oh...and my debit card!
