We both figured they were busy so that is why. Today we went and same thing! No hello, no acknowledgement from anyone including the owner! Before we left my daughter said goodbye to everyone and to have a great day. No one replied. We didn't want to cause a scene, so my daughter immediately called and spoke with the owner herself. It is funny for someone who has been a business owner for over 60 years should know basic customer service. She kept saying "I was not there, I was not there". I needed to leave a review regardless on BOTH yelp and google even though my daughter spoke to the owner. Just don't waste your time going here.. rude people and not that great of a selection.

Me and my friends walked into your store today with no acknowledgment or customer service. We continued and looked around smelled some $75 perfumes and five dollar sample perfumes and we realized we were being followed and watched by these two women. Yeah after we tried using a make up sample, and my friend said that she didn't like it, one of the women came over and said oh it's just dried up. I continue to walk past my friends to look on my own and I have at least three women staring at me and my every move. I have never stolen anything and it is very stereotypical to think that when you see a teenage girl. Any customer counts as a customer and I shouldn't have to be discrimination based on my age or what I look like. **This isn't the first store this has happened in, and I'm sick and tired of being profiled with my friends as criminals. Another lady offered to help pack up my items, and here, they actually removed the tags before putting my clothes in the bag. They might consider asking a customer first. Not that I could've returned them anyway, but I'd prefer to remove the tags at home myself. I'd also much prefer the tags be cut off with scissors if anything, not roughly ripped off by hand. Yikes. Talk about cringe. Once I got to my car, I was actually compelled to check the collars of the shirts for any damage or rips... Happy shopping!

I went in today after a long hiatus . upon walking in they always within a minute ask if you need help. i politely always say just browsing . i enjoy shopping alone and like to take my time . After the polite just browsing , if you pick up anything in hand they are. suck like a hawk putting it dressing room. Ok then another item in hand , back again taking it out of hand . It's always the same . sometimes i like to not even try on but i don't bother here bc they grab it . I guess I've never reviewed this shopping complex, but we've been here a million times over the 13…read moreyears we've lived in the vicinity. The massive area was previously the site of the Glenview Naval Air Station and this shopping center is the heart of the huge Glen residential community as well. There are numerous shops and restaurants here and it's always a pleasant experience to visit. Like Fashion Outlets in Rosemont, every time we visit there is something new here. One business or another has left and another has stepped in. The rent must be high here, and if you don't continually draw the requisite traffic, you won't survive. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go. Remember Ted's Montana Grill? - it was a favorite of ours and also one of the first to disappointingly close in our earlier years, and that's now The Oak at the Glen, and in a prime location. Some of our favorite and long standing and still standing businesses here are Von Maur, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the Yard House. I could probably name another 20 shops or restaurants we liked or tried here, but that have all since closed. Jibek Jolu is a relatively recent addition that we like for what that's worth. We were going to try Dee's Place (soul food) one day, but dang, they closed before we even got to it, and that was a big investment in a large space for that restauranteur, and too bad. It can get busy and crowded, but nicely there is alway parking to be found in one of their parking lots. Oh well, business is tough here for the tenants, but for us consumers, this is a great upscale town center.

The only reason I'm giving it three stars frankly is because even in the last almost 20 years I believe that they've been open unfortunately there's been a lot of turnover when it comes to the restaurants. I'm not sure if this is simply due to high rent, but there's really nothing that the Glen or its Landlord are doing in order to provide any real stability and it's rather unfortunate. Also, since this place was built, the parking situation has always been a challenge and it continues to be. In fact, it just gets worse with all these special parking places and reserve spaces that continue on the main strip. I do hope that things get better, but with the way that it has been structured and built there really is no opportunity for expansion whether being retail and restaurant space or even for parking I will say it's been great to see the movie theater Von Maur as an example of two establishments that have been here I believed the entire time this place has been open Similar to a lot of other moles, there's a lot of empty spaces and vacancies and it's very sad especially when it's surrounded by million dollar homes in a suburb of additional multimillion dollar homes
