Because I've stuck with running - and because I have a history of plantar fasciitis (repaired with two surgeries) - I decided to treat myself to a shoe fitting and new pair of running shoes. Al, who helped me on my visit, could not have been nicer or friendlier. He asked me a few questions about my running, what shoes I'm currently wearing or have previously worn, and then he did the foot scan. After reviewing it with me, he brought up four different running shoes for me to try on - Hoka, Asic, New Balance and Brooks. He was well-versed in the differences between each and was helpful in parsing through what I liked (or didn't) in each pair. After I selected the winner, he checked inventory for my preferred colorway. They didn't have it in stock but assured me it would be delivered on Monday from another location. He recommended a pair of socks, too, and made the checkout process super quick. On Monday afternoon, I called the store to see if the shoes were in (a little eager to go on a run). Jane was kind enough to check to see if they were there and let me know they were. I went for a run after picking them up, and am super happy with my selection. The amount of cushion is perfect for me, and I could feel a difference in my pace. My heels didn't hurt at all when I finished, which is a huge win for me and my bionic foot! I'll definitely be back for future running shoe needs. This was a great experience, and I'm so glad I stopped in!

The shoe department isn't as big as my favorite location but I still managed to find a couple pair of slippers, the clearance price for one pair was only $6.73! I find that this location is easier to maneuver around versus the Old Orchard location, however it was still pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon (prime time probably). Lots of On Cloud and Hoka women's shoe options. Had a really good experience with the checkout line, I wish I could remember her name. Even though the shoes didn't ring up with the price on the box, she make the adjustment without any issues. In addition, she was savvy enough to know how to make split a credit card payment when using one of those annoying Visa gift cards and a regular credit card. Usually when those two issues occur, you get stuck in line forever - but with her it was a breeze!

I love that they make custom orthotics like the ones you get at the orthopedic drs office. But the price is way cheaper especially if you have the road runner VIP membership. Alex was the person that helped me with my orthotic shoe inserts which to be quite honest an easy breezy technique. First you chose the type of insoles you wanted depending on arch and cushion support then Alex slipped the pair into a machine to heat them up for 3 minutes then the insoles were transferred to a machine where you had to step on top of them for a minute with your weight! The results were your new custom impressions on your insoles!!! Stop in and have yours made for any shoe. Your joints will thank you!!

We started with one salesman who needed to leave and then turned over to another, so since we were first online and had to wait because there were 6 people and only 2 salesmen. One salesman spent time with a young girl and sat with her for a while while we were handed boxes. The service was awful, and I noticed two people left because they had no assistance. We have purchased from here numerous times and would have left if I didn't have my cash points. We will no longer shop at this store. Service is now here--try it on and put the shoes you don't want nicely back in the box. Add but pay $$. You really need to bring your customer service back.
