I have been a fan of this cookie establishment for years. It brings me great sadness to say that the cookies are not the same as they used to be. Today I purchased some cookies that were made by Eileens and some dough for the kids to make some Halloween cookies. The frosted and decorated cookies that Eileen's cookies made were stale. I did not even finish the cookie, and I can usually down a dozen pretty quickly. When I got home I decided to make one. What a colossal disappointment!!!!! It was crunchy, even though I baked it fir the least amount of time recommended. These cookies used to melt in your mouth!! They no longer do. I would not suggest these cookies at all!! read more

Oh my. We got these cookies at a work event and boy are the sugar cookies VERY VERY sweet. I get it, they're suppose to sweet, but this is like eating a bag of candy at once sweet. The texture and softness of the cookie is great. The design on the cookies are wonderful and pretty also. I would not recommend the sugar cookie unless you have a HIGH sweet tooth. read more

First visit and last one! I went in looking for SPD cookies, none. Ended up buying the large cookies, they had no bag to put them in! Putnthem in a bunch of small white cookie holders. Asked about the white boxes with bows, was told those were for decoration. Ended up buying a large rectangular box. We saw Eileen's Colossal Cookies across the street from Little Holly's when we went in for lunch the other day. Lucky for us, they have a knowledgeable, friendly staff and DEE-licious samples. Cookies are homemade in a variety of sizes and flavors and can be decorated for the season and/or occasion. The peanut butter chocolate chip and molasses were extraordinary, soft, and flavorful. We bought a dozen and will definitely be back for more! Went back because I do not have time to bake Xmas cookies this year. So their cookies are pretty good. Not mind blowing but solid. What bugs me is them charging you a dollar extra for a box or $3 for a tray. Seriously? Krispy Kreme doesn't charge you extra. Kingsooper doesn't charge you extra for getting a box for pastries. Just leave a bad taste in your mouth for a store to nickel and dime you for that. Absolutely incredible. I just got a Yelp and knew this was where I had to leave a review above all other places as Eileen's Cookies has practically changed the quality of my life. A bit dramatic, but these are hands down the best cookies I have ever had, so good that I find myself around once every two weeks craving their signature frosting, but I can't have it cause I've now moved half way across the country. Even if you don't like frosting, their cookies are perfectly moist and baked to perfection every time. Eileen's definitely doesn't get the attention they deserve. They blow Insomnia cookies so far out of the water, and are about 3x cheaper. I highly recommend Eileen's to anyone who loves amazing cookies. read more

I will admit Eileen's cookies are OK. If they have a lot of sprinkles and colored sugar and only on the sugar cookies. But my sister in law loves them and the were for her baby shower. I sent pictures to the manager of what I wanted them to look like and it was a total fail. Luckily I brought some of my own decorating items so I could fix them if needed. They told me they only had primary colors. Well you can mix primary colors to make other colors. Anyway they were mediocre at best. And my touch ups at 2am didn't do a whole lot of good! But they were definitely better. In the picture I took of what they gave us the sun is supposed to have a face on it. And I didn't understand why they didn't ice them all first then put the designs on them like the white name ones? read more

Great customer service when I went in. Super friendly girl greeted me as soon as I walked in and then another lady came and got me a cookie right away. Now I think it's cool she had a Kobe frosted cookie as his death is still recent. With that said, I would say the cookies are average. Great Cookies. One of the best sugar cookies I've had. The praline ice cream sandwich is very good. The thing I like about these cookies is they are not too sweet(I had the non-frosted cookies) and not over loaded with butter/fat. Although it would be nice if they did use some butter for some of their cookies(they use margarine instead of butter for their cookies). My favorites were the sugar cookie and the oatmeal scotchie. The chocolate chip was good as well. read more

The cashier told me the smash cake would be a 4" cake and that in order for them (the bakers) to make it, I would also have to order cupcakes too. Online "All Custom orders start at $200 regardless of the size of the order." Plus the cost of cupcakes? The Ube cake is a 6" for $60 and a single cupcake was around $5? I'm all for supporting local and supporting Filipino businesses. I took the time to visit in person but it seemed very unprofessional that not one of the bakers (even seeing me as I was talking with the cashier) came to discuss the details of the order with me in person, what justifies the 3x charge for a custom order for a smaller cake and cupcakes (that I don't need).

She was able to answer all of my questions and customize the cake to our liking. The cake was ready on time and looked very fresh. The cake ended up being a hit at the party and everyone loved it. Most people couldn't even tell it was vegan until we told them. It was better than all of the other vegan bakeries/cakes we have tried in the Denver area and we would happily order more cakes and other goodies again in the future.

I love Eileen's and often purchased cookies at the location in Fort Collins for my students when I lived up there. Was really disappointed to see that this location doesn't make the cherry chocolate chip that I can find at every location I have been to (including all in Northern CO and WY). When I asked if they would make or carry them I was met with a rude remark about how no one would buy them and told that I surely did not find them at the Locations in Colorado. read more
