Lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and blueberries
    Lauren G.

Ale prepared a gorgeous cake for my kiddos' 4th birthday. Their request for a lemon cake with blueberries was unique, and Ale pulled it off spectacularly, with layers of lemon cake, cream cheese frosting, and fresh blueberries, and a gorgeous elephant stenciled in frosting on top. Everybody raved about how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it tasted. We'll be back again soon!

Is this just someone's house? This stuff looks amazing but Google maps is sending me to some alley.

It is someone's house so that's correct. It's pre order only except for porch bakeries every other Saturday

So here I am to say how amazing this bakery is, despite not having pictures to post. Born2Bake is everything you want in a bakery and coffee shop. They are a locally owned small businesses making things from scratch and you can tell how much care went into your food every time you visit. The pastries are fresh, expertly made, and there is a lot of variety from croissants, to savory breakfast items to some really decadent cakes. It's located in downtown Littleton, and the inside ambiance is a cozy and welcoming environment to either stop in for a coffee and some pastries to go or sit down at one of their tables. The people who work there are always friendly and welcoming as well. It's just the sort of place we love to visit and support!

Located in the cute downtown area of Littleton, parking was easy to find for us to run in an pick them up. Cute, clean bakery with lots of goodies on display. They also offer sandwiches, soups, coffee, etc. and there are tables to sit at. Saw several yummy cakes, pastries, cupcakes I'd like to eat! So the two dozen we got were a combination of chocolate, vanilla, carrot, chocolate peanut butter, funfetti, lemon, almond, etc. And each were decorated with hints as to the flavor you could expect. The cakes were light, fluffy, and airy and the frosting was spectacular. They use a creamy buttercream with no grit, just light and tasty with flavors that match the cupcakes. Everyone at the party raved about these cupcakes and we all agreed I was giving a 5 star review! Fabulous bakery if you live in the area (or are visiting and want some sweet treats!).

Usually…read morethere is a a little bit of a wait, but when it ismy time, the employees are extremely helpful in finding me cupcakes and brownies I would really enjoy. I am addicted to the chocolate caramel brownies. It is the best dessert item I believe I've ever eaten. It's gotten to the point where I ask family to hide them from me because they're so good I can barely stop myself from gobbling them down. Every cupcake I've tried has been very good or excellent, with just a couple exceptions. I think now I've tried 16 different flavors. I love that they have so many varieties. Butterscotch Grove is very generous with the frosting, which is the best part of any cupcake in my opinion. I really enjoy this store. All of the offerings are displayed well, and the employees have been fantastic. The ambience of butterscotch Grove reminds me of when I was a kid and I went to the bakery with my mom. It smells fantastic!

The cake itself was a little dense. It did have a surprise filling and the frosting was good but a little to sweet. I probably would not visit again as I can get a cupcake from Kroeger that is about 4 times the size for the same price.

One word for this local gem: WOW! Honestly, coming into…read morethis shop blew my mind. Every item from the cakes to the pastries and cookies to the matcha and espresso drinks were stunning. Just gorgeous products everywhere. I went on a weekday at 2pm so didn't know what kind of inventory they'd have, but they had everything I'd possibly want. They had cake slices, full cakes, and all kinds of goodies available. I have no idea why I haven't been here since they're a short 5-minute drive from my house. But now that I know how amazing they are, it's going to be dangerous! I had heard that their spring fling cake was their "flagship" item, so I went in planning to try a slice of that and then I saw they had a full coffee/matcha/chai bar. So I also ordered an iced matcha latte unsweetened (LOVE that their matcha is quality and not pre-sweetened mix) with a toasted marshmallow cold foam. All I can say is that if you're going to the Starbucks across the street, do yourself a favor and come here instead. My drink was perfectly made and I got to support a local shop. In addition to my cake slice and matcha, I also couldn't resist getting a jumbo pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. It was moist, absolutely massive, and had a great balance of the pumpkin and dark chocolate, which is my fave. No over the top sugary sweet taste, just a well-balanced fall treat. Now, the spring fling cake I'm sure you've been waiting to hear about: Divine! And hot dang, are those slices massive! You are getting every penny worth of money you spend here. It blew my mind that for all three items I got, my total was $20. The cake slice was so big, in my opinion one slice could easily be split between three people. It'll likely take me and my husband a solid couple days to make our way through it. And once again, the flavor was balanced with fresh fruit, a nice tart cream cheese tasting frosting, and not the kind of sugary cake that will give you an instant sugar headache. This cake is what dreams are made of. I haven't even mentioned how good the service here was. The girl at the register was SO sweet answering all my questions as a first time customer. They had a line when I got there and they got to everyone super quick. I loved my experience here so much that I plan to go back this weekend for a full cake! Plus, I've already told my family about this bakery so it can be our new go-to for party treats when we need them! Do yourself a favor and do NOT skip this spot. If you're craving a special treat, need a cake or cookies for a party, or just want your daily caffeine fix: absolutely go to Eternal Flavors!

They have a purple Ube cake that would match the theme perfectly. Before I could get any details out or speak to the baker, they told me I needed to go online to submit a custom order. The cashier told me the smash cake would be a 4" cake and that in order for them (the bakers) to make it, I would also have to order cupcakes too. Online "All Custom orders start at $200 regardless of the size of the order." Plus the cost of cupcakes? The Ube cake is a 6" for $60 and a single cupcake was around $5? I'm all for supporting local and supporting Filipino businesses. I took the time to visit in person but it seemed very unprofessional that not one of the bakers (even seeing me as I was talking with the cashier) came to discuss the details of the order with me in person, what justifies the 3x charge for a custom order for a smaller cake and cupcakes (that I don't need).
