I regularly visit this store to pick up bagels for my work crew. On a recent visit I pre-ordered 2 bagel boxes and pre paid. I showed up and the store was closed with a hand written note that they were opening late due to road construction. I reached out via the app and received an email that I could get a refund or pick up my order on a different day. Since I had used a reward I chose to pick up my order about a week later. I confirmed the night before. I arrived a little early and there was another handwritten sign that the store was closed and would open at 6am. I waited and the store did not open. I watched many people arrive and leave. At 605am I called and no one answered. I left once again empty handed. I reached out via email with no response. I noticed the district manager was included on the email so I reached out to him. He responded to the general manager but did not directly respond to me. It is 3 days later and I still haven't received a refund. I understand that things happen but it is unacceptable to not refund my money. Not even an apology. I wonder how many other people pre-ordered and did not get there food. read more

The food is good but the service is not. We stopped by last weekend and there weren't very many people in here, yet we waited for probably 20 minutes before being served & then maybe another 15 just to get our food - we only ordered two bagels and a drink. One of the girls working (maybe the manager?) was very very sweet though. She thanked us for waiting and threw in a couple muffins for free since the wait time was pretty crazy. The chai latte was okay but very sweet & I probably wouldn't get it again. My favorite bagel is the Asiago w/ veggie cream cheese. It's delicious and I get it every time and highly recommend it! This place is close to home for me and I'm sure I'll continue coming here but I will probably order online for pickup since we didn't have a great experience ordering in-store. read more

Eh..... I recently got some bagels here. Get that craving and gotta have one. Weird. Not the best texture and just a weird mouth feel and flavor. And sweet!!!!!! The everything bagel was weirdly, oddly sweet. I'm not talking about the occasional sweet cinnamon bit you get from the slicer. The bagel itself. And the service. WTAH. So I'm just gonna but a couple bagels right? But I said ... was is there a special if you buy 6? The girls like ... yea... there is a special ... I was on my way to work and had stopped for the Monday Bakers Dozen. The lovely lady filled my request and sent us on our way!! She was not able to process my credit card and I had no cash. This is a great chain but this location seems to have issues. I ordered the Nova Lox bagel meal which came with a side. I also ordered a muffin. I went to register to pay. Employee ran my credit card and I was charged for bagel and side but no muffin. I didn't catch it until after he ran it. He didn't offer me my receipt, just wadded it up and threw it away without any hesitation. I just said forget the muffin and waited for my order. When I got to work there was only a very tiny amount of Nova way less than other locations and my side order was missing. That's a lot of issues on one simple order. It strikes me odd that the employee at the register instantly wads up receipts and throws them away. I saw him do this to the next several customers. Shouldn't he offer them to customer first? Service is sporadic. Been here numerous times. The Ortega Chile bagel and the Jalapeno bagel are great but the amount of toppings vary greatly from day to day as with all their bagels. 3 times we get onion bagels and one day you end up with onion w/ poppyseed on the bagels. One day we didn't get part of our order. Their schmears are good (I really like the jalapeno one, it's got some fire to it). Serve Caribou coffee, but never the blend I prefer (Obsidian). 2.5 stars. read more

store manager and district managers allow people to bring in dogs-- not service dogs-- regular dogs and sit with them inside at the table since when does the dept of health allow dogs where food is prepared and consumed? I doubt this is kosher practice either. they also let homeless people use the facilities then sleep in the corner. I had to leave more than once cuz thier hygiene was so bad. the workers on the other hand are clean and nice. the bagles are tasteless compared to other bagle-only shops in the area. their coffee is good too I will never come back because I dont want dog fur in my food. it is not my place to interact with other customers. it's the store managers job read more

Had one of the more disturbing experiences I've had in a dining establishment. Stopped in for a bite after work and ordered a bagel with cream cheese. While one employee worked on my order, I paid for my order with another employee. He started by asking how my day was, and I answered and returned the question. He responded that his day was not going that great. I offered an empathetic response. I didn't ask for any more details, but he took it upon himself to offer them to me: he showed me his thumb, covered in a dirty appearing bandage. He told me that the finger nail had pulled back from the nail bed, became infected, and developed an abscess. Yum. And just that day, he had had it drained, so it was feeling a lot better now. Appetite officially lost. Granted, he was not the one handling my food...but still. TMI, and how about a clean bandage, while you touch my credit card? Couldn't even enjoy my coffee because it came out of the self serve carafe at room temperature. I know I wanted decaf at 4 in the afternoon when the restaurant was empty, but that's still unacceptable. I will not be returning. read more

This location is very nice with a friendly staff a crisp clean environment that is spacious and inviting. Unfortunately, I only stop here on my way to work which means I only have a few minutes to enjoy or to get my order to go; which is a testimony to their efficiency in serving guests. There is always a warm welcome and the food is always fresh. The reason I stop is for their breakfast sandwiches. I enjoy a basic bagel but I have really gotten hooked on Einstein's bagel sandwiches. My sandwich of choice is the egg sandwich with sausage (turkey) and cheddar on a sesame seed bagel. These sandwiches always are prepared after you order them and have a delightful fresh taste. For me the sandwich still comes in two parts the bagel and the other stuff. The bagel is warm and the freshness allows your teeth to fall into the flavor with the added accent of the sesame seeds that add a delicate crunch. The egg, turkey sausage, and cheddar combined offer a wonderful combination of a hot breakfast (on the run); the egg and sausage are smoking hot working to melt the cheese. The cheese is a mild cheddar but still offers a hint of sharpness that accents the egg and the sausage. My next adventure to this location is to try their lunch. If it is as good as the breakfast I will be delighted. read more

Hmm, not sure about this one. I will start off by saying this low rating was mostly because of one employee who definitely needs to check his attitude. I went in at peak lunch time and there were 2 people working...more were sitting on break. One employee came from the back and was not happy that the manager asked him to assist with the line and order and I got to listen to 10+ minutes of him complaining about working, how we will call HR, la la la. I used to manage restaurants and to have a person on the front line clearly letting customers hear that rant is not good. You could see the customers were aggravated with how long the orders were taking and this employee complaining was not helping. I could see the manager was not thrilled but that should have been stopped right away. I will most likely not return here which is ironic since I kept putting off coming here but decided to give it a try today. So I traveled for miles and way out of my way just to get a Salted Bagel with Lox, and of course the awesome Coffee Einsteins has. So first off I'm very disappointed that at 10:30 am they don't have any Salted Bagels. Really that's your big seller! I highly doubt it..Second disappointment is when I sit down I notice that there is white onions on the Bagel and Lox when there should be Red onions or what I know them as Bermuda Onions. I mean yeah it's defiantly a good sandwich and the Lox is Fresh and non fatty and the sesame bagel is fantastic by this point I solderer through it and take the nasty Onions off after a couple of bites. The sad thing is Einsteins does make the best Bagel and Lox in my opinion, I've had it at other places and they don't compare. I put 2 Stars because they have done better. read more

I'm so disappointed. Bill $20.80 for 2 sandwiches that were barely hot and a bagel with cream cheese. The spinach, mushroom and swiss sandwich had cold spinach and when I asked if it could be reheated, the workers looked at me as if I was crazy. The only reason for my mediocre rating is because the service here has been slow, and I have been leery of returning to this specific location. For a chain, this place is ok. I am not always fond of the ingredients that come with eating here, but you get what you get at places like this. The prices are on the high side, too, but also to be expected. One can often find coupons that help with this. The mornings are pretty busy, here, but the coffee is decent and the staff is helpful and efficient. This makes that long line churn away rather quickly. I mostly come here for the bagels, and not all that often, really. The asiago and the spinach florentine (I believe that's the right name) are very good. The coffee is hot and the bagels are absolutely delicious. This was the highlight of my trip. This place has been hit or miss. Granted, I don't go there a lot but have had some really good food and some really bad food. I do love their smoked salmon bagel, probably best I've ever had but my last visit might be my last. Ordered a couple bagel sandwiches to go for myself and a coworker. Got to work and we started eating them and halfway through my coworker takes a bite and as he pulls it away from his mouth, a long hair continued to uncoil itself while still in sandwich and his mouth. Yuk. I mean like almost arm length long hair. We were grossed out! As I was laughing over his reaction, there was a much shorter hair sticking out of mine! He was so disgusted, he flew back to the store to report it and get a replacement. He came back saying they really didn't seem to care but did replace it with an ordinary plain bagel. Seriously you can't make a bagel until the system comes back up? So the same thing happened at a Chic fi la and you know what they did ? They gave out free chicken biscuits.
