Haven't been here in a while and been seeing their new items so thought would stop in for lunch. No Sierra Turkey sandwich but the broccoli soup was still there. Broccoli Cheddar Soup and half a sandwich. More than enough for one. Soup still as good as I remember. Sandwich was ok. Deb had the NEW Italian Stuffer Roll. Deb said this was just ok Sat outside as it was nice. Besides some new stuff on the menu and minus some old favs this was the same as I remember which I guess is a good thing. read more

My breakfast sandwich was pretty good, but this Panera is very inconsistent. On this day our cashier was very helpful and friendly and our food was ready pretty quickly. The ambiance is nice and usually pretty quiet so it makes a good place to get some work done. I visit this Panera frequently, I feel every time I go in. Marley is always working by herself during the rush in the morning. Yet she remains patient and incredibly kind to all the customers. This morning there was about six people in line. She was preparing a bagel pack while also trying to catch up on several other orders. She called for a manager to help, but nobody came. While trying to keep up with everything, she accidentally cut her hand. Even after calling for a manager once again, no one came out to help. Poor girl had blood in her glove, and yet still remained calm and professional. She apologized to the customer for the wait, and continued handling the line until she was finally able to step away for just one second to clean herself up and put a Band-Aid on. She came right back immediately and continued helping everyone with the same kindness. The disappointing part was not her, it was a lack of management support. I was there for about 15 minutes during the busiest part of the morning. And no manager came out to help. until everything had finally slowed down. This isn't the first time I've noticed her being left alone during a busy breakfast rush and definitely not the first time I've heard her and I've seen her look and call for help and not get that help. No employee should be left to manage an entire morning rush, especially after being injured on the job and clearly bleeding pretty badly. I sincerely hope Panera recognizes how valuable this employee is and addresses the lack of support from management. read more

Checked out this Panera location last night and it wasn't busy which was nice. Placed food order at the front and sat at our table. Would give a better rating, but they never called our order out as ready and in addition, our table needed cleaning. Other than that, the sandwich had good flavor and the soup was very good as well. read more

First time at Panera 10801 Starkey Road, at the Bardmoor Shopping Center for breakfast this Sunday morning. The quality of the food was good. Good dollar value. Very good front line service. However, not expected from a chain, the place had a very family-like feel to it. Reminded me of stopping by my aunt's house on Sunday after church for a coffee and catch-up visit. FOOD - Avocado Egg white breakfast sandwich on the flat bagel - very good. Overall, the Everything bagel with egg and bacon sandwich was good. But if we're really in the mood for a bagel, we'll go to our favorite local bagel place. Hazelnut coffee was very good. Breakfast dessert; Oatmeal Raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and Almond pastry were all excellent. SERVICE - The front line was Abby and Cheryl. Both very friendly. Cheryl kept telling everyone as they entered "Welcome in!". Very nice. Cheryl, when there was a lull in customers, checked all the coffee pots and milk/creamers and refilled as needed. ATMOSPHERE - Great atmosphere. It really adds alot to the dining experience when it's so evident that so many of the other customers seem to really be enjoying being there. Well, they fixed the experimental scones and now they are great. But they changed the recipe for the baguettes. See my 2019 review, praising them on this. They now make a baguette that is not the deeper oven baked brownish color, but a blahhh light yellow crust, that does not even taste like a crust. They also incorporated gimmick segmented pieces on each baguette. Why? Please go back to your great recipe. A tasty baguette. For now, I must shop elsewhere. read more

Two registers were going and there was a small line of people. Both register employees killed it with kindness and helpfulness. They were both young though, and didn't seem as familiar with the computer system. I unintentionally threw a wrench in their system by asking a question about the menu (I wish they had full menus available that showed the ingredients in each of the meals so I didn't have to bother the staff). Anderson was so nice and patient in answering my questions. I feel bad because everyone was working so hard and trying their best to keep things together. But there were guests standing around all over the place with questions. One lady didn't get a latte made. I didn't get my drink cup. Another woman didn't know where to pick up her pre-ordered food. Another woman had an issue with the order she ran in to pick up. The oldest employee seemed to be maybe 18, and the rest of the staff was (politely) laughing and goofing around with each other. It's great to see people smiling and enjoying their jobs! It makes me sound old, but it just made me think it would have been helpful to have an adult supervising and making sure things ran more smoothly. I ordered the Vegetarian Baja bowl with Caesar salad and charged lemonade (mixed with some unsweetened iced tea to balance the sweetness). So tasty!! This location is the worst Panera I've ever been to... I work in the area so I go there more than I normally would for such a poor location, but more often than not my food is poorly made, special instruction forgotten, and inconsistently the right temperature. At least during the day time, It feels understaffed and if I didn't work in the area, I would not go back. I keep giving them another shot because I am a Panera fan and love the breakfast options but usually leave disappointed and this is over a span of a few years! The only reason I gave two stars is because I normally take the food to go and I know to go food is tricky so a little grace towards them in that aspect but that's about it. read more

really? I find it hard to believe that you can staff this location with 5-6 employees on a Sat. evening at 7 pm, there is 4-5 customers in the dining room, and nearly every single booth is dirty. The service people we encountered were pleasant, but I watched two employees, one maybe on break, sitting at a table with the standing there talking to her for about 5 mins. when she was done she walked right by all the dirty booths and did nothing. then another employee actually had some food and sat on one of the dirty tables to eat. you all should do better... read more

Usually like Panera Bread. Pricy, but very good. However, I received a $5 discount 'reward' so thought I would give a relatively new sandwich a try, 'The Spicy Like Chicken Sandwich', full price $12.49. Not worth the money by a long shot. Not when I can go to PDQ and get a 'Spicy Classic Chicken' sandwich which is a better tasting, larger sandwich for $7.39, or to Chick Fil-A and get their 'Spicy Chicken Sandwich' which is better tasting and the same size, but costs $3.89. I'll continue to go to Panera Bread, but stick to dishes I have enjoyed in the past. Stay away from their 'Like' sandwiches. read more

Place an order on lien nine I get their order is not ready half of the orders missing nobody knows anything about it and since I paid an Apple Pay they have to cancel the order. Next thing you know it's it'll be curbside takes about express pic more like nothing is ready minutes. Worst service I ever had in my life, Burger King and McDonald's have better serve in the store will never step foot in this place ever again in my life. read more

Food quality has really gone downhill I ordered 1/2 chicken salad and a cup of chicken and wild rice soup. There was maybe 1 tablespoon of chicken salad on this sandwich which was basically 75% bread and a little tiny piece of tomato. The soup was watery and tasteless. I will not be back to a Panera bread. It's really unfortunate this place could make a decent lunch but they just don't seem to care. read more

Sunday Lunch: Tried delivery--FAST!!! Ordered online and had customized some items (on-the-side, substituted items, toasted, sliced, & extra ingredients....). Placed my order and the driver was 10 mins early (delivered within 15-20 mins of online order) and my order was 100% correct! =) Was kinda confused by the $3.00 delivery charge (is that driver tip??) but was so happy with the speed and accuracy of my order, I gave an additional tip. read more

Have never had a problem at this location and I've been coming here for years. Always very clean. Staff are fast at registers. Comfortable seating. They have a room in the back you can rent out for events. It's free you just pay for the food and are required a certain amount to spend on food. Try the pick 2 for $10 deal! read more

Quickest lunch option. Decent food and prices. I have been utilizing their rapid pick up for a quick lunch stop. I order online, drive over and food is ready in the pick up spot. Sweet! Usually do a soup/salad or soup/sandwich combo. Food has been consistent and I've been happy with my orders. Went ahead and signed up for their rewards program since I started coming so often. Got a free pastry for signing up. Panera is always busy. They have a lot of seating though, inside and out. I take it to go but it's a nice place to meet up for lunch. read more

I'm never setting foot in a Panera again. Last year, I signed up for a free trial of unlimited coffee. Just today I noticed that I was being charged $9.20 every month AND I NEVER GOT ANY COFFEE!!! Typical look and menu for a Panera Bread, I think. I didn't see the panini I normally order, so I tried something new, the Fortega Chicken Panini which was pretty good. The chicken was juicy and there was a good amount of cheese. I like cheese... I normally get something with chicken and chipotle mayo I think... Panera is a good chain restaurant. All the menu items seem fresh and fairly healthy. I like that you have a choice of sides. I think the options were chips, an apple, or something else... I got the chips... The menu seems to have something for everyone. Different meats, vegetarian options, soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis (spelling?), smoothies, tea, etc. It was kinda hard to pick something new. Pretty much everything sounds good... I always go for the "Pick 2" at Panera. And I always get the broccoli and cheese soup. It is darn good. And I dip my chips in the soup. Its good. You should try it... The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. This store does Panera proud, haha. read more

The morning shift is never on time regarding Rapid orders. Today I ordered online purposly at 715am an order to be ready at 7:44 am as I know when I arrive it's hardly ready. Sure enough I get there at 8:00 and it's not ready. I see a bag on the counter, manager asks if I've been helped and I say I'm waiting for a rapid. She has left to get a bagel ready and I asked what time was the order supposed to be ready!? She confirmed 7:44 pick up time. And I commented you guys are way late. I only order from them as they are on the way to work. I gave them a 15 min buffer and still wasn't ready. I have been to this location twice and both times they have gotten my order wrong. For example, yesterday I ordered a chicken noodle soup and a tuna sandwich. I didn't have time to check inside the bag due to being in a rush, but my receipt said chicken noodle soup and he repeated my order back to me correctly. However, when I finally opened my bag I noticed they gave me their creamy chicken and rice soup, which I can't eat because I'm allergic to dairy. read more

how you can screw up a panera is beyond me, it's not the product, it is the poorly trained employees behind the counter and on the floor. the mgr if she is indeed one is oblivious, obviously not caring what goes on, she appears to have just given up. like how hard is it to keep the coffee filled, or the water filled, the half and half or one% filled. how hard is it to serve fresh choco crescents or put cheeese on your sausage egg and cheese sandwich, better yet put a one inch piece of bacon on a sandwich. they are quick to take your money and then bamm your on your own, leaving the food bag on the counter with the wrong items enclosed. i'm shocked this is not how you treat a panera read more

Panera Bread is one of my favorites. Amazing bread, good coffee, and a darn good selection of pastries, croissants, ORANGE SCONES, etc. They also have great soups and sandwiches. One of my favorites is the Roast Beef on Asiago Bread. My fiancee likes the Bacon Turkey Bravo. This location is so-so, well pretty good, but I have a personal vendetta that makes me have to rate them as so-so. First, friendly staff. On the numerous occasions I have been here, I have always been impressed with the chipper attitudes carried by the staff. Great GREAT great customer service. Even when it is very busy, they are patient, smiling, and so friendly. Next, clean restaurant. Bathrooms are clean, tables are clean, everything in that department checks out just fine. I have been to some Panera Bread stores where they are a bit lax on cleaning the tables, but I have never had that problem here. Now on to the complaining. The only reason this Panera does not get a 4 or 5 star review is because THEY ARE ALWAYS OUT OF WHAT I WANT! I am a fiend for the Asiago Cheese Bagels. 3 of the last 5 times I was here...OUT!!! I want to spazz out and start spraying spit from my mouth and throw my arms around in the air like a crazy person and mess up my hair and then beat my arms on the counter like a monkey and then lay on the ground and start crying and thrashing like a baby BUT I DON'T! I respectfully say okay, darn, how about an Everything Bagel. 2 of the last 5 times I was there...OUT!!!! Now I feel steam coming out of my ears BUT I bite my lip and keep it cool. I settle for the Cinnamon & Sugar Bagel. They are good, but then I have to consider whether eating all that sugar means that I should skip the coffee. Then I remember that I am freakishly addicted to caffeine and have a tolerance higher than the Empire State Building. Sugar is good, but does not have the chemical amazingness of coffee. So I get the Cinnamon & Sugar Bagel with a coffee. Coffee is self serve. That makes refills very convenient. One while you are there and one to go. You can also mix it up and get a different type, Dark Roast, maybe? Their bagels, all of them, are as good as their breads. They probably run out of my favorites because they do such a good job here and have lots of regulars. All those darn regulars eat them out of house and home and then I have to deal with the consequences. I will be back to this location, and I promise to update the review to 4 or maybe even 5 stars so long as they have my Asiago Cheese Bagels. MMMMmmmmmMMM. Panera is one of the most popular cafes out there, so don't be surprised if you come in later at night on a busy day only to find out that their soups are limited; from the time Panera opens they have a variety of soups to choose from, and since they're included in their special U-Pick-2 deal they'll go fairly quickly up until the late evening. I've been in that situation a couple times before, but that doesn't mean the last couple of options aren't good, just that they weren't as popular as, say, french onion or tomato soup. Anyway, Panera is a great place to eat on the go or to sit down. It does have its rush hours in the morning and during lunch so you'd have to hit early if you're on your way to work/class. There are a lot of menu items to choose, and most of them are really tasty. I personally love their souffles or egg & cheese on panini in the morning, or a U-Pick-2 for lunch/dinner which basically consists of your two choices between a soup, salad, or sandwich. I also enjoy their hot tea and chilled green tea (don't be fooled, it's not that authentic). You can also order simple meals like bagels with cream cheese. Mmm ~ Panera has a bakery section containing brownies, pastries, cookies, etc. I've enjoyed their cookies and brownies, but their pastries are too sweet for me, and their scones are too hard. The free wifi makes Panera a great study area if you can either a) choose a quiet place to sit or b) ignore the noise. I have mixed feelings about the staff especially management. There have been past female managers who were not very pleasant (or obviously feigning pleasantry) and that has put me off interacting with them. But as Panera's employees are rotated I get to see new faces and see who'll end up staying and leaving. Ha. The interior is constantly tended to, so there's no need to worry about dirty carpets, tables, or bathrooms. read more

I frequent Panera quite a bit because I love the variety of food and I like almost everything so it's perfect. This was not my regular store, but I was hungry and in the neighborhood so I stopped. It was the normal busy lunch time and the service was quick even though it was jammed packed. I ordered the pick two; half Lemon Chicken Orzo soup and Greek salad with chips and the Tropical Hibiscus tea. My food was ready by the time I made my drink. My soup was hot and the salad was fresh! I'm a big Panera fan. Nationwide, they seem to have their S together. The quality is always the same. This one didn't disappoint. The staff is nice, and the building is clean. At this particular Panera, I had the Hazelnut coffee on two different mornings. Both times, my coworker went to the Starbucks next door. Both mornings, I got an iced coffee for half the price she paid. AND I got my coffee and went back to wait with her while she waited for over 5 minutes for her order. So go Panera! read more

Stopped here this morning. Ordered cafe latte. Three customers behind me were served before they even started my coffee. The sliced loaves of bread, heated breakfast items then started my coffee, after wiping their hands on everything! The cup was half full! The service to the regulars seemed upbeat and personal. Ok. I love Panera Bread, have always eaten in. You all came to my workplace promoting your delivery service. So we ordered it for a lunch meeting. More were disappointed than pleased. So, today at work I ordered delivery myself. The Pick 2 - chicken panini and mac and cheese. VERY disappointed!! The panini was half soggy and everything had fallen out of it. I am a fan of Panera Bread and regularly stop in for breakfast or lunch. I am also a dash driver and this morning had to pick up a smoothie and a bagel for my customer. When I got there it wasn't very crowded. They said they did not have blueberries for my blueberry smoothie so I contacted the customer and found out she would accept a mango smoothie. Then people started coming in. The person who was handling my order all of a sudden wasn't. Another girl walked up and started helping care for the customers. Finally a third girl asked me could she help me and I said yes I'm waiting for a mango smoothie so the second girl said oh sorry and she started to make it for me. She handed me the mango smoothie and went on helping other customers. I reminded her that I was waiting for a dash order and there was more to the order. She basically threw the bagel at me. The bag the bagel was in was sticky from fingers touching it it was already used, and it was no longer warm. There were no napkins given to me and the girl was very snooty. While I was there, a customer asked for a sandwich with scrambled eggs on it and she said we don't have any more scrambled eggs. This is a breakfast restaurant. How do you not have any more scrambled eggs? Make some. Then he asked to have an egg over easy and the girl behind the counter said we don't know how to do that. I was stunned. Normally, delivery orders are bagged up nicely with tape closing the bag so that it can't be tampered with.. Personally, this is one Panera Bread that I will not go back to unless I have to. read more

This is the worst Panera I've ever been to. Twice I've used mobile ordering and my order has not been on the shelf when I arrived so I had to stand in line to get my food. Isn't the point of mobile ordering so that you don't have to wait in line? This location should take tips from Starbucks because they do it right. We had to wait 30 minutes for mac and cheese the other evening as well. I'm from St Louis where there is a Bread Co on every corner and I've eaten at them all over the because it's one of my favorites. This one is awful. This location is very convenient to where I live but I will drive to another location so as to avoid this place. read more

If you are ordering a salad, the lettuce should, at the very least be fresh because that is the main part of the meal. If the lettuce isn't fresh then whats the point? I mean its a large part of the meal. Why are they giving me wilted or blackened lettuce? That makes no sense! For what I paid for this salad I could have gotten 3 whole heads of lettuce at the grocery store! Less even! And this is not the first time this has happened! I am sick of this nonsense. Zero stars. Decided to treat myself to dinner out last night, as I was over there checking out the HSN outlet store. Ordered a cup of soup and 1/2 Roasted turkey avocado BLT. Not asked what toppings I wanted or didn't want. Slaps a big blob of mayo on bread, so told prep person I didn't want mayo. She notices there is no avocado. Tells person who took my order this, and he says TO MAKE THE SANDWICH WITHOUT IT. Not asked if that was OK or if it wanted something else instead. Not sure how cashier didn't know they were out of avocado, standing 10 feet from sandwich prep station. i guess it was good I was forced to stand there and watch, versus bringing the food to my table, as I had chosen not to tip before I got service. Really? Who is expected to tip BEFORE they assess the quality of service?. Requested a refund on my credit card, got cash back. Asked why charge not reversed on card; told " I really don't know how to issue credit card refunds." Tragic. read more
