First time trying out Philly's and definitely was impressed!! Served hot and full of flavor!!! Bread was soft and from Amoroso's!! Restaurant was clean and orderly. Nice ambiance inside with all the decor and seating arrangement. Quick and friendly service by everyone working!! Definitely recommend checking this place out!! They have a good selection of additional foods and it all sounds delicious!! Keep up the great work!!

I've always wanted to try their Philly cheesesteak but never had the time to until now. At first it doesn't seem like much. It's a tiny restaurant in a hole but the signs make it clear they're there. Upon entering it's nicely set up and very sanitary. I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak. The Philly cheesesteak came with beef, cheese and onions. You can add more veggies to it if you desire but I was craving meat lol flavor wise it was good. It wasn't anything magical but I really enjoyed it. It was slightly south of $13 which I thought it was a tad expensive for the size of it but it was flavorful.

New location for this place. They used to be on East bay Dr close to US19. They are now open in Missouri ave next to Aldi's. The have a small seating area to dine in. The food was great I thought. Their brown gravy is one of the best I've had goes well with the fries AND can't forget the cheese dip. We ordered the cheese steak and French dip both weeks delish oh let me go back to the fries. They are crunchy and not soggy. I could stop eating them with the gravy and cheese dip. Overall good food will def be back again.

Philly with provolone, fried okra and Hank's Birch beer.. Very good!! We'll be back!

Got a flier coupon for this new location and was very happy with the freshness and flavor of our cheese steak and okra.. We'll keep this in mind for a future quick lunch.

This is a LARGE fry... almost $6

Fries were cold but still crispy & and great flavor. We ordered a large fry... it was much smaller than expected. I ordered the side of gravy & a side of cheese. Both sides were a decent size. We just didnt have enough fries to use even half of the sauces. The SM Okra was small but not terrible for $3. The LG Cheesesteak .... meh... so much grease the wrapper was red & cheese was stuck to the paper. The sandwiches were a bit pricey for what was received. ($15 each) for a large fry. Small okra, side of cheese, side of gravy & 2 sandwiches it was $50.....maybe it was an off day. The fries were seasoned & crispy but aside from the fries, nothing really stands out as better than the next. Just being honest... I can get a Philly from Delcos for half the price & it's twice as big with the same rolls. This place definitely has better fries though.

The Italian Hoagie was lacking in flavor and the Hoagie Roll was stale and dry. Was disappointed having driven from South St Pete.

I've had their Rueben, their Philly (of which I wrote previously), as well as their slaw. We (Queen Bee mainly) also crossed, much to my own chagrin, their Rueben rolls off our collective list. Fried pickles: same. Philly, as I stated elsewhere, was an abomination. Roll was awful, flavor was a bit bland and the whole thing just didn't come together. A Philly should be overflowing with chopped, well mixed ribeye, cheese and grilled veggies. I don't like peppers on my Philly, I tolerate shrooms and love grilled onions. This thing missed the mark on all categories. I sent it back. Rueben: small mountain of corned beef was way too salty and took away from the overall flavor and quality of the sandwich. Swiss of mediocre quality too. Like the Philly: sent it back. Blech! Rueben Rolls: sane as the Rueben itself: just wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and fried to death. This interpretation is a lil more flavorful as the ratio of ingredients is better balanced. Again: salty corned beef took away from what otherwise wouldn't be a bad app. Fried pickles: also way too salty. A pickle slice in and of itself is briny enough so added sodium is hardly needed or necessary. Someone back there seems kinda heavy handed with the salt shaker. That's why when I ask for fries there I tell 'em no salt. They use Cajun seasoning on their fries, I was told. Thanks by no thanks. Slaw, meanwhile: too dry. Cabbage and carrot seemed fresh enough, but the amount of dressing in it was minimal. As a result, it can be a lil hard to swallow. Add more dressing and they can solve it easily. I added a lil of the Queen Bee's ranch to it and that helped some. While I won't totally go for broke and bash this lil place, I have come to the conclusion that I won't waste my time trying any more of their sandwiches, which makes up for a large part of their menu. Each of 'em thus far has been underwhelming, so why should I try another? When I go out I wanna be overwhelmed in a positive way: both food as well as experience. We still go because we like the barkeeps and I like the cold beer, happy hour prices and the zillion TV's. We've always been treated very nicely there (we always sit at the bar: either indoor or outdoor depending on the day). All I'd say to keep it totally fair: I would limit myself to simple burgers and only a few of their apps. Why? I'm afraid to say I think they emphasize quantity over quality with much of their menu. We've been there enough times to know what we like and call it a day. If I could offer any positive thoughts to readers here, it would be to explore what intrigues you and go from there. One's own subjectivity often differs from that of the next fella.

I'm genuinely surprised to see such ratings for Indi's Chicken. I went in expecting a simple,…read moreno-frills spot serving good old-fashioned fried chicken and classic sides. That sounded great to me. Unfortunately, the food, portions, and pricing were all disappointing. A three-piece chicken meal with two sides runs around $13-$14, and the pieces are small. Two of my three pieces were very small drumsticks. The meal doesn't include a drink, and if you just want water, you have to buy a bottle. The sides also come in very small portions. I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken with baked beans and potato wedges. The seasoning on the chicken had a decent flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all. The bigger issue was that the chicken was extremely dry. The larger piece of fried chicken was especially bad, there was barely any meat in it. Most of it was over-fried, hardened breading surrounding a lot of empty space. I kept biting into thick, crunchy breading and air while trying to find actual chicken. The baked beans were fine but nothing notable. I did like the potato wedges, which were probably the best part of the meal. You get three as a side, but they are at least fairly large. There are also several extra costs that add up. Sauces are sold separately, the meal doesn't include a drink, and there's an additional 3% charge if you don't pay with cash. All in all, I really don't understand the high ratings. You can get better fried chicken at plenty of fast-food restaurants, or even from Walmart or Publix, for less money, with larger portions and more options. Even if you're specifically looking for a no-frills local chicken spot, this doesn't feel like a good value. You pay more, get less, and, based on my visit, the quality isn't there. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
