Women's room had one stall locked obviously stopped up. The other stall had feces on the trash can and side of toilet. It was disgustingly dirty. Health inspectors need to check this soon! read more

I'm going to give it a 3 as it was pretty dirty and not great service. I've had much better quality food at other Perkins in other cities, this one left a lot to be desired. The food wasn't particularly hot and they seemed understaffed so I'm not going to rag on the waitresses they just seemed overworked, mgmt needs to get its act together and hire more. Michelle was a super friendly and efficient waitress and took her time with us. We are old and maybe slower than most. I got the chicken salad sandwich with a side strawberry salad. Pretty tasty! Hubby got the breakfast burger and loved it. Other members got the pot roast, shrimp dinner and salmon dinner. All impressed and no complaints with the flavor. We ended with a piece of pie. The staff in this Perkins make it a 6 Star! Everything here was great, my son and I stopped here two nights in a row for dinner. Our server was incredible, she was genuinely concerned about everything! The food was abundant and very well made. The restaurant is located on one of the busiest intersections in Clearwater, yet inside it felt like a small town dinner. You are more than welcomed to enjoy "solo", couple, friends, family etc... This location has great parking spaces and the setup is very spacious, well organized and structured. As soon as you walk in you are great, walked to your table or booth and a waitress introduces her/himself. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The environment is very pleasant, from the lighting to the setup. Staff members are all very profesional, using their uniforms and name tags at all times. Having to eat at Denny's, IHOP and Friendly's in the recent past and for years going back to my college student days, this joint that is open for 24/7, gets a fair shake. The joint probably deserves a four star but, then it would be unfair for the other new and established notable foodies joints. The service was a 4, the decor is 3, and the food was 3. I think the key is knowing what to expect from a 24 hour joint that serves breakfast all day. You go there for eggs, toast and hash browns and a pot of half decent coffee. As long as you know this, you will not be disappointed. But again, having to read the other reviews before setting my foot in there, I was aware that the service side of the house could have been dicey. Myself and 7 other guest had dinner at Perkins last night. We were seated in the back where there was a strong smell of pot smoking going on from the kitchen area. Our waitress was not the best in the world right after serving our food, she handed us our bill, as if to be rushing us to finish and leave one of my guests had ordered a second round of drinks which were never delivered and when we ordered dessert, she really seemed annoyed won't be going back to Perkins anytime soon we were there for the evening rush. Well this year we did Thanksgiving on Friday the 24 instead of Thursday. Ordered pies well ahead of date to be picked up at 6am Friday morning. Got to restaurant , I screwed up said 3 pies when I ordered 4 at counter . 2 pecan,1 coconut cream and an Apple pie. Lady looked confused then went to the back for a while. Came out and gave me 3 pies, 2 pecan and a carmel apple out of the front case, then offered me 2 free pies (if she had looked at my order she would have known 4 pies) so instead of Coconut cream I got 2 cream pies unknown. Since I picked up at 6am when they opened no-one could have picked my order IF it had been baked fresh I give a 3 because they are still good pies but probably at least 1day old, left over from what was baked Weds night. We placed an order on Grubhub. The driver text to say she was still waiting on our order. It was fairly simple. A pot roast dinner, a meatloaf dinner, a side of spinach & 6 muffins. They never contacted us or even had the driver contact us to ask for substitutions. They wrote on the receipt, scratched out what we ordered, did not even tell Grubhub they did this. The restaurant just decided to send what they had... not what we ordered. They sent random stuff.. broccoli instead of spinach. No muffins, some kind of mess instead of pot roast. The meatloaf looked like tiny meatballs... didn't even taste like meatloaf so I think it was honestly kids hamburgers. They were tiny, unseasoned pieces of meat. (I think) this was our first order from here. It will also be our last! It appears multiple people are too lazy to do their job. The muffins are scratched out in pen. Just says "out" the spinach, that we ordered as a side & then paid $4.49 for an extra side as well, they substituted with broccoli... the muffins they did not send anything. The roast & meatloaf have a big X across them & says "sub" like, how do you just take an order & fill it with whatever you decide to send!? That's unacceptable. I'm adding a picture of the receipt that was on our bag. It even says..."remember all condiments" really? They didn't do that either. There was ketchup in the bag. That was it! Ordered take out on Sundays because it is usually packed. The food is very good, fresh & served hot. The service is friendly and the prices are fare. They sell full size cakes & pies at the bakery area. The kids meals a very complete including a drink and an adult size cookie. Always check your order before leaving my meatloaf was ordered with country (white) gravy and it came with brown gravy. The chicken fingers order was one short, it happens. I didn't know I could not sub out toast for pancakes on the Triple Egg Dare Ya breakfast meal, said that's the way it came... yup, was told it would confuse the cooks.. definitely don't want to go to a place where the cooks get confused so easily. Worst dining experience ever. The restaurant was not very busy on a Sunday night, yet we waited fifteen minutes to be seated. We waited another 20 minutes for the waitress to come over to tell us she would be with us in a minute. Another 10 minutes passed and she came to take our orders. After 15 minutes still no service so I got up to get our own drinks. After 20 minutes, we left and saw our waitress in the parking lot smoking a cigarette. Awful!
