Clean and friendly place with the quality you expect from an Einstein Bagels shop. Would recomend for a quick breakfast or treat.

Preordering bagels isn't as great as it seems. We ordered $32 in bagels and extra schmear, which we took with us to avoid confusion on pick up. This morning, we picked up the bagels and weren't allowed to get a box with it, only bags. Being told that we need to purchase schmear the same day as pickup gets is what gets us the box is making us go elsewhere next time. WE BOUGHT SCHMEAR, we needed the box for convenience to carry everything as well as a professional presentation to a meeting, but I guess spending that kind of money and leaving without a 25cent box tells me where their priorities are. We'll go to the place that's closest to work next time and not worry about supporting our local hometown business. read more

Having eaten at many Einstein locations across the country, I can say this is by far the worst set up one can conjure. The footprint is large enough to accommodate many people but yet there is only seating for four. The main dining area remains empty, the tables and chairs replaced by a single table with one of the guess the number of items in the jar and win games. Meanwhile, no less than eight people stood around looking for somewhere to eat. Everyone eventually left and the parking lot was full of people eating in their cars. It's baffling. Just close the dining room and only do drive thru if you want people to eat in their cars. As for the food, it's good but nothing great. Better than some other bagel chains in the area but far from stand out. Unless you're really craving a bagel, the donuts and coffee next door at dunkin are much better. read more

UPDATE: I just left this place again only to come home and find that the bagel for my bacon egg and cheese was completely burnt - I'm PRETTY sure that whoever was making this noticed how blackened the bagel was. so my question is this - do you guys knowingly give out burnt bagels aware that this will basically ruin the taste of the sandwich 100% rather than putting in the extra effort (30 seconds worth) to retrieve and toast a new bagel for the customer? I'm was very glad an Einstein's opened in my neighborhood. However after initially going there a few times I was disappointed - uncomfortable seating, sun glare no matter where you sat inside and the piped in music was too loud. I didn't go back for quite sometime. When I did I found they had remedied all of these situations. New seating area, sun shades on the window and the music is pleasant and low enough we could talk. The bagels, pastries and sandwiches are VERY good as is the service. Coffee (Caribou) is very good also. I am now a happy returning customer. read more

Ordered an Everything Bagel with cream cheese to go. After I ate the top half, I was shocked that there was no "everything" seasoning on the bottom half. Just that bland yellow cornmeal stuff. I've been here many times, However, 2 separate times I have been there and while actively explaining coffees of the day, the barista(coincidentally enough same barista) completely redirected her attention and had a conversation with random people whether it be over my shoulder, or a customer all the way across the room.. Don't get me wrong, I usually would give then. 4 or 5, but on Mondays when they have the "baker's dozen deal" the bagels are often not good. Perhaps in the rush to increase the volume, shortcuts are taken. The bagels are often "off". They are over risen, the chewy texture is missing, the shiny exterior is matte, the topping ( on "everything" bagels) is scant. The staff, however, is always excellent. read more

I ordered a big order to take on a trip. Not only were the staff nice and friendly they were very helpful. The Worker helped me carry my order out to my car even though they were very busy. Go here fairly often and they have twice now given us the wrong bagels for our sandwiches. It's a pain because we never even know until we are at home. I have a wonderful experience with my family over the years. When we go there, we buy five meals and drinks, (interesting how people complain if it's not cheap)! Not sure why these singles complain so much when buying one meal and drink. I have found that the staff is ran by kids, but what big business now a days is not. I always see the managers (male or female) busting their butt. I do enjoy the remodel and when I go on the weekend it is a mad house, but what do you expect when so many un-locals moved here. I'm sure the bagels are fantastic but I won't be back due to terrible customer service. My questions were met with blank stares and shrugs, never a smile. No one else was in the store so it's not like I was holding anyone up, and I was cheerful and polite. I asked if she might slice the bagels so I could make bagel chips, she said no, she'd already cleaned that machine. But you're still open for 3 more hours.... I would say 75% of the time I go in the place is packed. During those rush time the Manager is actively working behind the counter with staff. The person at the register is always running the coffee bar also so they are always jumping back-and-forth back-and-forth delaying service to a lot of people. Today I think I saw about seven people waiting for drinks. I paid for my order before any of those people got their drinks. The staff seems somewhat knowledgeable at what bagels they're going to have for the day. But overall they always end up being short on the specific bagels that I order. The other 25% it's not busy, service is great, quick, and plenty of product on the shelf. So much potential for this place, but it needs a little bit better management. read more

I have visited this shop on occasion for the last year. Today I was very disappointed. I started going there because they have Caribou coffee. I usually order a mocha with dark chocolate, half sweet. Today I was informed that they no longer have the dark chocolate so I got the milk chocolate option. I don't care for very sweet mochas so, as usual, I ordered it half sweet. I really like the taste of coffee and chocolate but not too sweet. The milk chocolate didn't have much chocolate taste. Very disappointed! On top of that, the bagel wasn't good. I don't know what was wrong with it but it didn't have much taste and seemed tough. Maybe it was old. So unhappy that Caribou coffee is being scaled back. Not sure if I'll go back there. read more

I've eaten at several locations, and since the new one in Loveland is on my daily commute, I was glad to see it open. Ordered my "standard order" -- everything bagel with cream cheese schmear and a coffee. Both were as delicious, fresh and yummy as one could expect.
