    Sourdough French Toast

I ordered a Sourdough French Toast and their special matcha latte of the month, the Pot of Gold. Service was excellent and extremely fast. My French toast was served to my table and had a beautiful presentation. It included a berry compote which was my favorite part. The matcha was also wonderful. I loved how the menu included which item was gluten free, vegetarian or vegan. There were options for so many different dietary restrictions. The cafe as a whole had a great amount of seating and a positive vibe. Both baristas that I talked to were very warm and friendly. If you're in Fort Collins looking for a coffee place, I definitely recommend stopping by here!

I am working on writing a dissertation so finding a good coffee shop to work at is a must. Mugs is a perfect place to get work done and catch up with friends during Happy Hour. The coffee is really on point! You can get also $1 refills of drip coffee which is nice when you need to stay on task and properly caffeinated. The music is not too loud which is why I love getting work done over here. I also enjoy the outdoor sitting area when it's nice out. Highly recommend this place!

    Danwich on gluten-free bread!

Okay. I've only been here once and already love this place. First of all, the design and ambience of Mugs is everything I wish for a coffee shop. I had a Danwich on gluten-free bread and it was AMAZING. Tasted so good, it was like having all of my breakfast foods in one sandwich. I was impressed by how toasty and yummy the bread was, considering most places just have small, soggy pieces of gluten-free bread. SO GOOD. I honestly don't know what else to say, haha. The employees are super nice and there's really nothing bad to say about this place. I'm excited to come back and try some Chai! Also, they actually have GOOD music playing which is essential in a great coffee shop.

Small coffee shop with lots of places to hook up electronics. Locally sourced ingredients help make all their food incredible! We had 2 large specialty coffees and 2 sandwiches running us about $25. Well worth it, though! The coffee was rich in espresso and flavor, and the sandwiches are stuffed full of protein and flavor.

The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

I got a bacon breakfast Bonfire Burrito and a matcha latte. Though prepackaged, it's was heated up nicely and it was very flavorful, a lot going on! I ordered a hot tea blend and it was yummy and just the right temperature on a cold day. I appreciate when baristas offer a "for here" mug right away rather than the disposable variety. We sat around the corner, just behind the baristas' work area. They have a small display of items to purchase from local artisans and such, which added charm and a cozy feel to the space. Our table doubled as a chess, backgammon, and checkers board and set and there were other board games stored, I imagine, for customers to use. Bike-in on the adjacent bike trails and get a bit of a discount on your purchase and reduce extra time spent on parking your car. They have four parking spots just behind the building. Hot tip: bundle up for a stroll during the winter months and grab free parking on Remington.
