We went elsewhere (Crowne Auto next day appt) so we didnt have a chance to use their service. Rep should write in appts as she gives them on the phone to better organize for future clients.

My only complaint is that they took off my out of state front vanity plate to pass inspection. That was not necessary, as I asked a State police man if that was an issue and he said no, because Pa does not have front license plate. So, I just put it back on. They had some staffing issues due to COVID-19, which screwed things up a bit because I had to take off of work twice for an inspection. That ticked me off a bit. The shop owner said he tried calling me, but I had no missed calls, so....? Oh well, they're right around the corner and convenient. Plus, you can go to Gilligan's for beer & food while your car is being worked on.

I'm not a car guy but I did use a code reader and did some research on the P0126 code causing the check engine light trigger. The shop's diagnosis of a faulty thermostat matched what I found. I appreciated that Justin took me through the troubleshooting process he used to verify that it wasn't a bad sensor instead and also showed me the old and new part where I could see the obvious wear of the thermostat spring that was causing the thermostat to stay stuck in the open position, causing the P0126 code. My vehicle was done in less than 2 hours which was great considering how many other drop-ins they had that afternoon. I would highly recommend this shop and will be bringing my vehicle back if I ever have any other vehicle issues in the future!

I explained that my throttle dashboard light came on, and Charlton said I might need the $70.00 diagnostic test to turn it off and determine the throttle problem. Charlton also asked me about the size of my engine. I scheduled an appointment and canceled it because the throttle light went out. Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I appreciated the messaging that helped me determine what my vehicle needed. What's valuable? The excellent customer service in fielding my throttle concerns is worth noting.
