We looked around quite a bit for a good CPA that we could trust and got some recommendations from friends as well as yelp reviews. I&U CPA was one of the only places with great reviews and VERY reasonable rates. They were also the fastest to respond to my questions. The whole process was so painless and easy. Unlike other places where I'd have to arrange an in person meeting and bring in physical documents (ex. H&R block), I was able to upload everything to a secure portal from home. Even though I'm sure they were very busy with other clients, I always felt like we were a priority. I got updates and emails from them at all hours of the day, even well past their work hours. Responses were always within a few hours, if not minutes. And within a week, our taxes were completed and filed, stress-free! To my surprise, the extra cost of going with a professional vs. doing it ourselves using turbo tax paid off too. Before going with I&U CPA, we tried turbo tax and H&R block's online program, and every which way we tried manipulating the numbers, the refund calculated using the 2 programs always came out within 100 dollars difference of each other. We felt we had a good idea of what our refund would be this year. I&U CPA, however, was able to find other deductions that added up to over an additional $1000 in tax refunds. They also ran an analysis to see if we'd benefit more from filing married jointly or single. So if you're looking for a CPA, just stop looking here.
