This is my second review. After painting my house exterior and fixing some earthquake damage, I hired JP Painting again. They removed the popcorn ceilings, painted the interior, installed canned lighting (recessed) and a chandelier with dimmer switches, replaced some loose electrical outlets, replaced the baseboards, added wood trim around a door and 2 windows, replaced 2 bathroom fans, replaced a mold infested bathroom ceiling and replaced all my vent covers. We needed to divide a bedroom in half in order to make space for a new nursery and Office. This job seemed simple, but actually had a lot of moving pieces, including demolishing a closet, and a soffit, moving and adding electrical, framing and installing an entirely new wall with sound insulated drywall, installing a prehung door, and painting and adding trim and patching a lot of places. He even lets you get free samples with his account at Sherwin in case you wanted to test out different colors on the house! Julio really makes sure that we're happy with our results by doing multiple walkthroughs with us to make sure we're fully satisfied. They did a poor job on the door installation and door frame painting. During the installation, the installer damaged my hardwood flooring and the baseboard near the door frame. I was told they would cover the floor while doing the job, but they didn't fully cover the working area. I informed Julio about the floor damage, but he never responded. I asked a contractor for a floor repair estimate, which would cost me at least $400. The attached photos show only part of their poor job. read more
