In my 20 years as their patron, I have only experienced an issue once and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, it was addressed and remedied immediately and free of charge. They are clean and knowledgeable. The salon is huge and such a great space, with the little frenchie. They offer various drinks such as coffee, tea, carbonated water, and snacks. My hair is purple and very long, so my hair appointments take literally the entire day. Everywhere I go though, I get compliments on my hair all the time. Some people would say this salon is expensive, but to me, the quality they offer is worth it. I've been to cheaper salons and have had really bad experiences. Because my hair is high maintenance and costly, they do a great job of giving me some samples of their products. They are always educating me on how to care for my hair and how to use various products. I will always support this business because it truly does strive to take care of its guests and produce high quality work.

Throughout the transaction, she seemed irritated and unhappy to assist me. When my scalp was examined, she mentioned my hair was oily so they'll use an oil-controlled shampoo which I liked the customization. I also didn't know how much your scalp can tell you about your lifestyle; the diagnosis was spot on. I don't know who I got but she was absolutely great! There was a language barrier but she used a translating app which I didn't mind at all. She turned on the massage chair which does your whole body and gave me a legit solid scalp, head, neck, shoulder, and chest massage with the perfect amount of pressure. She noticed how tight my neck and shoulders were and offered a longer massage on those parts (so grateful!). Since I don't wear makeup, she also massaged around my eyes and face which was much needed to relieve the head tension I had. Then she focused on my washing hair and other scalp treatments and more massage before blow drying my hair on the chair for the final scalp exam. It was very relaxing and enjoyed it greatly.

They told me that the base charge would be $65, but once I told them that I wanted an A-line bob, I was told that this "specialized" haircut would start at $75. I'm not even asking for the super short graduated back of the head, just leave my front pieces slightly longer than the rest of the bob. I only need about 2 inches taken off the back anyway. I get to the salon, and it's a ghost town. When I looked them up last week, I saw they open at 10 am, so when they scheduled me for 9 am, I assumed Maria would be here before opening to do my hair. Nope. Waited about 10 mins, called both the Bellisima AND My Chair by Maria phone numbers, nothing. I'm just so confused.
