Service was very good. Had 3 different servers check on me to make sure i had what i needed consistently. I ordered the shrimp, scallops and mushrooms on the servers recommendation. THIS IS FOR TWO PEOPLE! It was only $24 so figured it was for 1. 32oz mugs of beer for $9. Everything is very well priced especially for large families. Food was great. Saw the molcajete on my way out and it looked amazing and could feed a small army. I think the menu said "serves 2". Busy spot on a Thursday night, you can tell the locals frequent it. We were coming back into town on Saturday night pretty late. Everything other than fast food was closed and we were excited to see they were still open and based on the parking lot, fairly busy. The place looked nice inside and we were seated quickly. Service was great and the staff were efficient and attentive. We ordered two of their higher end margaritas which were very good. Our food arrived and we were very disappointed. It was mediocre at best. The food didn't have a lot of flavor. My husband said his beans were bland and possibly from a can. He left almost all the food on his plate. Mine wasn't as bad but I would not order it again. I'm giving this place 3 stars...one for the service and two for the margaritas. read more

We have been here twice in a month. We do our grocery shopping in Ephrata and this place is now our Ephrata go to for sit down Mexican food. Be patient as they tend to be super busy and staff is limited--worth the wait. If you're in a hurry then call and get it for pickup. I can vouch for the carne asada. Honestly best yet I've ever had. Stopped here to try it out. When we walked in the hostess sat us and was very sweet and cheerful. That was the last Good experience. The waiter came and took our order for drinks. Both our drinks were bad. My Cadillac Margarita tasted as if it came from a Safeway mix. Her tequila sunrise was missing the tequila. We ordered and extra shot to add to it. We then ordered the shared chicken and steak fajitas. The food came and looked as it was sitting in a warming pan and just thrown on a bed of very roughly chopped peppers and onion. The onion in fact wasn't even slivered it was a whole slice connected by the root. We had to break them all apart. We then had to ask for our tortillas which came nice and hot. Unfortunately we had to wait again for the server to show up to get plates to eat off of. Maybe we came on an off day but we will not be back. Should of at at McDonald's instead. It's not a bad Mexican restaurant, it's just mediocre. The chips and condiments were good and satisfying. I ordered the Chicken Fajita's as did my friend and the kidster ordered the child's Carne Asada. Both of us were disappointed in the fajita's. The chicken lacked flavor. If it wasn't for the massive amount of grilled onions that came with it, it would've been pretty boring. The onions: I suspect they were Walla Walla Sweets. And while I love WWS onions, I'm not fond of sweet things on my fajita's. So I thought it was a miss. Now, just eating the onions on their own were delicious, but I really like to put together little fajita burritos with chicken, grilled vegies, guacamole, salsa and lime. Since the chicken was bland and the onions were sweet, it really wasn't what I wanted. I really liked the beans and rice, but my friend thought the beans were flavorless. I usually mix my beans and rice together and dump salsa on them, so like that, they were delicious. The kidster loved her Carne Asada and stole a few of our tortilla's to make little carne burritos. If this is the best Mexican restaurant in town, it's not a terrible thing, I'd go back, but in the scheme of things it's only a solid 3 star experience. One thing I was very disappointed in, and it may be that I just didn't see it, but I was really jonesing for some tortilla soup and I didn't see any soup on the menu at all. Bummer. Excellent food & super friendly service! Visited this place for dinner while staying near soap lake area. I ordered Pollo Diablo and husband ordered combination plate(veggie tostada and enchilada) and House Margarita! Cocktail was refreshing and both entrees were bomb!! Infact, their chips, salsa and salad was fresh and delicious as well. Highlight for me was their pollo diablo which was done right(authentic, spicy and extremely flavorful)! Read the reviews, starving, couldn't wait for some good Mexican food. Arrived at about 5:40. Chips, salsa brought right away. Had to wait a bit to get some water. One in our party had a pina colada, said it was the best he had ever had. Only $6 and he could actually taste a bit of rum. Unfortunately, went downhill from there. Took forever to place our order, not crowded at all. Then the wait was on for the food. Food finally came, I had ordered the enchilada ala crema with shredded beef. Cut into it, it was chicken! After trying to flag a waiter down I told him I had ordered the shredded beef, he said, of yeah, we are out of shredded beef. Really, the waiters don't know what they have and don't have. I reordered the two cheese enchilada plate. Okay, nothing to write home about. Cheese inside wasn't even melted. The topper, we get our check, look over the bill. In the menu it says the enchilada crema was$11. The two enchilada plate was listed as $11.25. On the bill they charged me $11.99, no discount, no sorry. So, if you want affordable drinks, this is the place to go, otherwise, I'm sure there is a better Mexican food option in town. Will not be back!! read more

3 stars is The best I can give this place. The chips and salsa chips were fresh and fine the salsa was extremely watery but had a good taste and then there was some strange coleslaw served with them. I ordered the Carne Asada when it arrived to my table my waitresses thumb was in the beans that's gross. I was also served corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas which I ordered and was missing the grilled jalapeño that was supposed to come with it. When my server finally came back around I notified her of this and she corrected it. As for the meal itself was quite delicious. The service was slow and inattentive which was weird because it looked like they had five servers for a slow Wednesday night. I may give this place another chance next time I'm in town. read more
