This place was where I had the best apricot croissant ever!! I'm here on vacation and that croissant really hit the spot. I ordered the matcha latte and it wasn't scalding hot so I was able to drink it right away :) I was surprised and impressed that he served me the matcha at that temperature because the only other place i can think expect that kind of thoughtful consideration is Italy when I order a cappuccino and I'm from there. Very cute place, great location if you're staying in Hollywood. Great drink selection and friendly service. The prices are a bit high but it's expected right off the beach. I would not recommend the breakfast sandwich because I didn't enjoy mine. The bagel was too soft and there wasn't much flavor on anything. We have been here quite a few times. We have noticed the prices have gone up and the portions have gotten smaller, but because of the convenience and the good coffee would continue to come. The fact that they can charge you for cream in your coffee is absolutely ridiculous. We went there today and will never be back again. We went in there was only one other couple in the place who had already had their food. We ordered our food. They didn't have any change so we told them just to keep it, which wasn't just coinage but a couple dollars in addition. No problem we sat down with our number in front of us. There had to be at least 6pt more employees that we saw. Employees rather standing around or on their phone and this went on for 40 minutes until we finally went up and asked where our food was since we were the only people there. We were told that our order had never gone into the kitchen. Are you serious? You see us sitting there with a number in front of us we are the only people at this point in the restaurant and you're not wondering why we're not eating. Again, we will never be back. read more

Ordered a med coffee for $2.38, the lady pointed to the med cup in a display and I said yes. Was charged $4.40 thinking she charged me for a large by mistake, nope cream is extra apparently. Went in here this morning to check the place out. It has quite a few tables outside and inside. It's nice looking, but a bit plain, especially the outside. They have a $10.95 morning combo that includes a sandwich, coffee, and juice, so we got two of those, Avocado and egg on toast, plus a Bagel; egg, and ham sandwich. They are not flexible here. We could not substitute the ham for bacon on the bagel. Even though this place prides itself on coffees from all over the world, they would not let us choose which bean to use in the bagel breakfast combo. We could not upgrade the coffee to a latte by paying a little extra. They charged us almost $6 separately just for the latte, and then did not give us the regular (mystery bean) coffee at all that was supposed to come with the combo. We waited over 30 minutes for our coffee and food. I had to go inside and get the counter boy's attention, and when asked what happened, he coldly said they were busy. When we originally walked in, there was only 3 tables occupied in the whole place, with two tables already served. It's hard to believe the counter boy didn't have any time within 30 minutes to walk out and at least give us our coffees! If he told us when we ordered that it will be 30 minutes because they were busy, that would have been acceptable. But to have us wait 30 minutes for coffee and a bagel and toast sandwich is unacceptable. On top of it, this counter boy didn't care at all--such a poor attitude. The food was good, but after that poor service experience, I have no desire in coming back. read more

The coffee store is located inside Costa Hollywood In the north tower main level. I visited this location today since there wasn't any coffee in the room of my air bnb. The interior is well put together as you can see from the photos taken. They have inside seating as well as some bistro seating outside on the walkway. The wait however for a cup of coffee is absurd. 40 minutes!!! The staff is slow, like tortuga slow. There were some complaints by customers that they had gotten their breakfast 50 minutes prior but never received their coffee. There's a couple other places to get coffee on the broadwalk by the beach. Maybe try one of those. We just got a Keurig for the room, made more sense. The coffee from here was fine, not Starbucks quality, or even dunkin, but it was fine. read more

Maybe it's Florida or just this area of town, but I've never had such a hard time finding coffee in the morning. Don't coffee shops open at 5 or 6am everywhere? Apparently not here. Finally just sat and waited for this spot to open up. A really nice atmosphere, nice staff, the coffee was good. Food is definitely hotel quality but we were hungry and the lox bagel and eggs benny we ordered did the job. I ordered the Mushroom Omelette, it was a great soft omelette full of onions and mushrooms and seasoned well. I got a side of avocado with mine. Would definitely recommend. My girls had the everything bagel with lox. They barely put it down. Indoor and outdoor seating give plenty of options. Oh abs I ordered the frozen chai which was really good also. There is nothing like a good cup of coffee in the morning and the broadwalk has very limited places you can get good coffee. I ordered a small capuchino to my surprise he girl behind the counter asked me what type of coffee would I like. It seems you can choose diferent types of coffee beans like Colombian, Ethiopian, Brazilian etc. That's a nice alternative to other shop. I had Colombian a lighter brew. I liked it, good flavor, a nice densitive to it. This place also has pastries, wine, beer, desserts and smoothies. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant did not taste freshly baked to me but it wasn't bad. It did have a little flaky crust. A little thin on the ham I thought I barely tasted it. We ordered vanilla latte's. The drinks were watered down even though we added an espresso shot to them. There was no vanilla in it so we had to go back to the barista to add it. The photos on here are old and show latte art which ofcourse our drinks did not have! The egg, spinach and chicken sandwich was plain and not freshly made. The chicken empanada was tasteless and very very DRY. Considering these prices they have you would expect a lot better... (not to mention paying for parking to go here). In our experience the food was very good. I got the lox avocado toast and a mocha. I was very happy with both. The inside was very cute but not super clean. The one thing that bothered me was that the lady at the cash register was texting when I approached to order and waited about 20 seconds for her to finish whatever she was doing on her phone for her to acknowledge me.
