If you're looking for TJ style tacos, look no further!!! Tortillas are made fresh right in front of you. Their al pastor is one of the best I've ever had. Carne asada is grilled over charcoal. Unlimited salsa bar. Reasonable prices. Wish they had an actual store front but sometimes the best food comes from a parking lot of a gas station.

The middle of the night Insta reel death spiral led me here to the Hayward location of El Asadero Poblano. Our favorite Tijuana style taqueria is Mi Reynita but we were thrilled to see this place open just a few minutes down the street from us so we decided to give it a try. Rating Breakdown: 1.5/2 Stars for Taste -- We tried the asada, cabeza, lengua, al pastor, and tripas. Our favorite is the cabeza, which was tender and just the right amount of fatty. I'm not usually a fan of asada because it tends to be too dry for me, but the asada here had a good smoky flavor that made it a surprising winner. The al pastor was juicy but I was sad it didn't come with any pineapple. The lengua was pretty standard, it didn't stand out much to us. I ordered the tripas in a corn quesadilla. The handmade tortilla itself was chewy and delicious, but the cheese inside wasn't melted all the way and it felt like they skimped a bit. They were generous with the tripas , but even though I asked for it extra crispy, it came out a bit soggy/chewy and offputtingly oily. There were three types of salsa. The green mild salsa was kind of bland. The super spicy orange one felt more like pain without flavor. We liked the medium red one, which had a nice balance of flavor and heat. The horchata was creamy and sweet, the way I like, but my husband prefers the more watered down version. 0.5/1 Stars for Value -- It's $3.50 per taco, which is pretty standard nowadays. The quesadilla was $13, which felt expensive for what I got. There is also a $2 upcharge per item for tripas and lengua, which I found a bit steep. This is why I ordered the tripas as a quesadilla since it's also $2 but you get a lot more protein. The aguas frescas are $5, which is cheaper than some other places. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- The server at the front was super nice and helpful. You order at the front and they give you a ticket to give the kitchen to start your order. The salsa and grilled jalapeno/onions are self-serve. The truck next to the gas station so parking is limited. You can pay with cash or Zelle. Bonus star because although it does not beat out Mi Reynita in our hearts, we would come by again for tacos if we are too lazy to drive all the way to San Leandro. We would skip the meats with surcharge and quesadilla. They didn't have the fresa con crema agua fresca this time, so I would come back to try that next time!

AMAZING service and quality of food. The meat was very savory and well made. We got a burrito, tacos and a mulita de asada. It was delicious omg the best burrito I've ever had as of now, very filling. The tacos are made with hand made tortillas, and to top it off the salsas are self served. I definitely give this place a 10/10 and will be coming back very soon. Please support these kind people they are doing an amazing job. The commute from San Francisco Airport is very close coming down the bridge.

Had a big ass burrito here . It costs $25 but fed me all day. Usually when you buy big burritos, they tend to lose the flavor because they are so big, but not this one. It was super delicious and flavorful. They also have some great sauces and a small vegetable bar to complement the burrito. This is a real review. I was not paid anything. This place is actually real good.

    Plain asada burrito

Very disappointed.. We were looking forward to really liking this spot for a new to go taco truck close to home. Asked for asada and pastor burrito, NO pastor. No sour cream. No cheese. No guac. No salsa.

Was craving tacos and saw this place on google and had to try it out, I have went to there oakland location but since they have one in hayward now its so much closer. BOMB TACOS I definitely recommend this place if you like homemade tortillas. The workers were very friendly and nice as well. If your in hayward try this place out

We were lucky to order and get seated right away, coz the line was soon out of the door! The service is friendly and courteous and the staff goes out of their way to ensure you're enjoying their food. These guys made the Michelin Bib Gourmand list in 2021 and 2025 and once you eat their food, you can see why. We got a steak burrito and a chorizo quesadilla which is more like a large taco. They have a bunch of dishes from Mexico City that you don't typically see in typical Mexican restaurants. The burrito was served with pickled vegetables and the quesadilla came with limes and cucumber slices on the side. They have two amazing salsas both of which are good. The salsa verde was my favorite - spicy, garlicky and on the money!! That itself should be bottled and sold! We will be back with friends!

I liked the amount of fattiness and juices the carnitas one had. It really melts away in your mouth. The pieces of lengua were much bigger than the ones I typically get at other taco places, didn't stand out too much for me. The carne asada one was pretty well seasoned! The other plate of tacos include lengua, carne asada, carnitas, chorizo, and cabeza For drinks, we both got the guavayaba agua frescas, quite refreshing and not artificial :) Lastly, we ordered a plate of churros for dessert. Piping hot!! Nicely coated with sugar and filled with a crème (forgot what it was exactly). It got a little bit too sweet near the end for me, but it was a good dessert!

Tacos Mi Reynita has officially ruined all other tacos for me nothing compares to their quesatacos!…read moreThe flavor, the quality, the crispiness... absolutely unreal every single time. You can tell everything is made with care and it shows in every bite. I also LOVE that they give you grilled onions and serrano peppers on the side. Un platillo mexicano nunca le puede faltar unos chilitos asados It just makes the whole experience that much better and more authentic. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It's hands down my favorite taco spot. My only complaint? I wish they opened earlier because I'm literally craving their tacos all day every day! If you haven't tried them yet, you're seriously missing out.

To make it worse, they didn't mention they were out of several major items--including beans--until after we had already ordered and paid full price. When we got home, the food was a huge letdown. My mom's quesadilla barely had any regular cheese and was instead filled with what looked like a pound of straight chopped carne asada, it was bizarre and poorly made. My chicken burrito was incredibly small and just okay, so we had to share it. On top of that, they skimped on the basics: no jalapeños or onions, just a couple of salsas, some cucumber slices, and lime wedges. We definitely did not get our money's worth and felt ripped off paying full price for this.

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

NOT WORTH MY $44 !…read more I got these food items: Asada tacos- 1/2 of the taco meat was just big oily chunks of fat, I spat it out immediately. Rest of it was tolerable to chew. Tortilla was dry and oily. Al Pastor tacos- bland meat with a lingering dry pepper aftertaste that makes the meat taste old. Took one bite and was immediately repulsed. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.
