The food was so good I had to walk it off for two miles haha. I ordered for takeout - a carne asada super burrito and a horchata. Starting with the horchata, it was creamy, nutty from the toasty rice, and rich in cinnamon. Surprisingly more of a refreshing drink than a sugary sweet one. I was never really a fan of horchata (I've always preferred agua frescas) but this one may have converted me. Per the burrito, it was huge! The filling was well balanced with meat, beans, cheese etc., which made every bite have an even distribution of ingredients. I also never had a toasted tortilla on a burrito (maybe this was my first time noticing it), but it provided another level of slightly crunchy texture to what is already a heavily soft and pillowy texture. This was definitely a satisfying meal at the marina park!
Came here on a Friday night and loved the atmosphere. Porque No? is a part of Frank's Bar. You can sit in either section and grab a bite to eat, but for this particular night we decided to sit in the taqueria section. You go up to the counter and order, then find a seat. The servers were very friendly and had a welcoming and inviting demeanor. Everything we ate was delicious and just the right mix of flavors. The super taco is the way to go, but everything we ordered was on point. Love this friendly neighborhood establishment and will be back!
First time at Porqus no tacos and everything was great. From first walking in and being greeted, to receiving the food. Nice/ Clean ambiance. Quick walk up ordering. Plenty of dinning space. Food was hot and tasted fresh. The horchata here is 10/10. If you're looking for a taco spot with a versatile menu this is definitely the place!
My friend invited me out for tacos and so I wasn't aware that this place was in a sports bar. I'm not mad about it. It made for quite a fun ambience and a really mixed crowd. Some came for a beer and sports some came for tacos and some came for both. We came for tacos and we got super tacos. They were really tasty. Well prepared with very fresh ingredients. All the proteins were perfectly cooked with really delicious seasoning. I think my favorite was the shrimp taco just because of how they seasoned and cooked it and because the shrimp were so fresh. It was nice that they played it with radishes as well as limes, and I also appreciated the way that they wrapped them up to keep it a little bit less messy. Our food also came with salsa and chips and that was nice. I will definitely be back. It was really fun and tasty.

Finally tried this place out after see all the reviews on how good this place is, so I had to try it. Came here with a few high school friends as we do once a year to catch up. This is on Marina Blvd right next to the train tracks, you might feel a rubble or 2 when the train fly's by. They have a parking for about 30 cars in the back. Once you walked inside the restaurant is very clean and modern. They also share space with Frank's Sports Bar. There is no wait staff, you order at the counter and pay, they give you a # and bring the food when its ready. The gentleman we ordered the food from was very nice. We had ordered, Fried Zucchini, Fried Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Strips w/ Fries, PQN? Nachos, Steak & Chicken Quesadilla. Every blend and had NO flavor what so ever. The nacho cheese probably was water down. The steak was sitting in a warm too long, it's more like a pot roast texture then steak. Lemon Pepper & Buffalo Wings were good but it came out warm.
Ordered the steak quesadilla which was good...not quite as good as Super Taqueria but tasty nonetheless...cool that karaoke was available every weds so it's a fun place to gather, watch sports and relax...bathroom clean so YAY!
I happened to be in the area again and my boss offered to treat me to lunch, so I figured I'd give it another shot. I ordered the chilaquiles again since that's what they're known for and this time they were actually really good. Probably the best I've had in the Bay Area. Not quite on the level of what I've had in Mexico, but still super solid. You order up at the counter here, then they give you a little sign to take to your table and they'll bring the food out when it's ready. There's a water station you can use to grab your own water and they also have free Wi-Fi. The password is posted by the register which is a nice touch. Service this time was a lot quicker and the food came out without any issues. I also tried the lemon pepper wings and they were pretty tasty. Kind of like Wingstop style with no batter, just fried and seasoned well. They have their own parking lot which is convenient but it's pretty small. If it's busy you'll probably have better luck parking along the side street near the train tracks. Glad I gave this spot another chance. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the mood for Mexican food.

What's also neat about this location is that it is right next to train tracks and you will see a train pass by every 30-40min. Porque so expensive? I like Porque No? Tacos, specifically for their super tacos (shrimp and al pastor are great), but it's really expensive. The first time I got takeout, I did not get complimentary chips and salsa, but I did the second time, so I'm not sure of their policy on that. Their super burrito is super expensive - basically a twenty after tax - but isn't worth it despite the extra griddled cheese, as I've had bigger and tastier, and it was kind of lukewarm. Just getting two super tacos is more worth it. The super tacos are fried hard shells loaded with the works - sour cream, guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo, fried cheese, and lots of meat. For being in the back of a sports bar, you wouldn't expect these exorbitant prices. The ingredients taste great and all, and the salsas are spicy and smooth, but I'd still rather go to my local cheaper taqueria. Also, I must stress again that the tacos are way better than the burrito.
Came here upon opening. Food is always good, had the chilaquiles with green sauce. The order arrived and they gave us the wrong quiles. The order taker claims we said the red but we clearly said green. The Order taker continued to just sit at the cashier and just be on his phone the whole time. No wonder why he got the order wrong. When you walk in, there's plenty of seating, and the ordering counter is right to the left. Once you place your order, you get a number and pick your seat. I went with the bar since I had my eye on a spicy margarita (which was solid, by the way). The setup feels like a serve-yourself kind of spot, so I appreciated that the waitress brought out the food and asked if we needed condiments or napkins--nice touch. We ordered the super nachos with grilled chicken and a super quesadilla with steak and shrimp. The nachos were fine--not bad, just kind of basic, like something I could've thrown together at home. The quesadilla was okay too. The shrimp were bigger than expected, but they were a bit too salty for my taste. The best thing was the guacamole--it was fresh and flavorful and made me wish I'd just gone with chips and guac. Overall, I'd definitely go back to Frank's for the drinks, and if I'm hungry while I'm there, I'd order from them again. But I'm not at home craving it or counting down the days until my next visit.

Not bad! Not bad at all. Food was decent and prices are reasonable. We ordered the super burrito, lemon pepper chicken, but our order of chicharron was to die for! While there is a small parking lot, finding a spot can be difficult during peak hours. It operates as a fast casual restaurant. You order and pay at the counter, and your food is brought to your table if you choose to dine in. Although it is a bit pricier than the average spot, the portions are larger. I really enjoy the food here, especially because the meat is well seasoned and not chewy. I usually order the nachos and one thing that stands out is the quality of the chips. They are thicker and more crisp than typical chips, so they do not get soggy as quickly. My sister especially loves the chips and salsa, which are served warm rather than chilled. I have tried the tacos, quesadillas, and nachos, and they have all been tasty, reliable choices with all the usual fixings. This is definitely a place I would go when I am craving Mexican food. Another successful eat! I am determined to try everything at least once. Yesterday we had the breakfast panini, the carne asada Super Taco, an order of Chicharrones, a fresh housemade horchata and a Michilada.... Taste buds blown! The pico for the chicharrones comes with a a side of Tapatio and a aide of a mixed-combo of their pico de gallo and their house salsa, I don't know why I have never thought of this; but I will be going back and getting these every time or even as a craving snack. Side note on the super taco, if you like your cheese shredded then make sure you ask for it that way. It comes with a melted shell of cheese. I am not a fan of my cheese this way, but if you are then you're in for a treat! Service as always is top notch. And the music from the connected bar was at a great level, enough for you to talk and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

Alright, so I'm a lil' snobby when it comes to my breakfast burritos. And I have every right to be, if I do say so myself. I was raised on a flea market taco truck standard of a breakfast burrito -- that is, damn fine, damn fine indeed. So, when mi hermano told me we'd be swinging by Porque No? Tacos in San Leandro to swoop up a breakfast burrito for mi sobrino pequeño, I was slightly iffy. I hadn't heard of the spot during our BB travels, it didn't sound especially truck-y, and when he said they used hashbrowns instead of breakfast potatoes, I had my opinions, okay? But when I saw that Porque No? was (convenientl enough for those late-night patrons, I'm sure) attached to a lil' bar by the name of Frank's, my interest was instantly piqued. I trust a business that much more when it's attached to a hole-in-the-wall-but-still-pleasantly-reputable situation, which Porque? seemed to be. My brother got me to test the waters in the way he usually does: offering to pay. He and my precious nephew split a bulking bacon breakfast burrito, and I got a veggie version. I'll be honest, it was mostly egg. I was also put off by the mixture of cheddar and jack cheeses... They just weren't harmonizing for me. But I did take a special liking to their salsa verde, and I do feel like they have good flavor -- nothing was especially off, I was just wondering where my papas were at. I'll probably be back to try something else off the menu sometime soon. read more
Located inside of Frank's Sports Bar and Grill is PN?T Order at the counter and get a number to bring to a table or the bar. I came by with a group of 5 friends and everyone ordered tacos and a burrito. The street tacos are $4 each but not good. I got the pastor, pollo, asada and prawn tacos. Everything but the prawns were dry and not flavorful. No salsa is given so they might have been helped with some or a lot of added salsa. The order took about 20 minutes to come out at around 5:50 pm. I looked around and it wasn't overly busy. I came after my friends ordered and I still got my order faster than another. They said their orders took about 30 minutes. Good spot for people drinking at the bar. Plenty of seating and TVs playing sports. Small parking lot in the back. read more

Came here at the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area. Boyfriend and I were craving Mexican food and wanted to try something new. Porque No is located inside of a sports bar that offers a considerable amount of space, both booth and bar seating, and high energy vibe. There's a lot, so getting parking is fine. Staff for Porque No operate along the side inside the bar. We ordered the following to go: - Super tacos: pretty tasty, reminiscent of street tacos and honestly these were pretty big too. - Shrimp burrito: solid stuff; filling was quality and clean. I asked for no rice in my order but they forgot, so I ended up with a lot of carbs in it. I just removed it on my own when I got to eating it. Decent spot with some good food. We definitely thing the food is quality but a lot more expensive than other places with just as good quality or better. We'd probably only have it again if someone else was paying to be honest. read more

Quick evening dinner of Carne asada nachos ... I love my nachos with cheese sauce... and a lengua taco. It was all delicious and the service was quick. Salsa could have been spicier ... Ambience was fine. I'm glad it has separate seating from the bar. read more
My friend found this place on yelp. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the grilled chicken super tacos, guacamole/salsa and chips and the fruit punch jarritos. The tacos were amaaaazing. We liked that the tortilla was slightly fried, and it held together perfectly. The salsa and guacamole were fantastic. Very authentic and flavorful. There was plenty of indoor seating and the service was friendly and quick. We will be back for sure. read more
I freaking love this place- lunch was absolutely delicious & very fairly priced, and service was excellent as well, friendly & checking in on us often. Offering boxes, water, helping to move 2 tables together all without us even asking. Super taco & chicarrones were amazing, our vegetarian friend loved her veggie burrito , the 2 flans were excellent ( churro y Fresa, horchata was delicious- basically everything totally on point. Parking was easy, restrooms were super clean. Best to pay w cash if you can. Looking forward to return & try breakfast next time. read more
Decent Mexican restaurant in an unassuming bar, with ample seating that popped up in my Yelp search for breakfast burritos. I ordered my friends their chilaquiles and breakfast burritos, which they said were solid. My veggie burrito would've been great had it not had a ton of random pieces of wilted lettuce, so I had to spend half my meal picking those pieces out (the burrito lists the ingredients, and lettuce isn't one of them). If they took my name and order so I didn't have to repeat it upon pickup, and my food was ready at the stated pick up time, I would've given this place 4 stars for the food. Soooooo delish! You go to the register, order, they give you a number, you pick a table and they bring the food to you. Easy breezy! The water is also self serve. The bar area is separated from the dining with a chest level partition. The place is clean and the ambiance is cool. Great hidden gem. read more

I went here with my coworkers during our lunch break, it was our first time. It was a bit difficult to find, more of a hole in the wall spot. It is attached to another restaurant and once entering it's in the corner. You order at the front with a cashier and they give you a number to have on the table. I got the carnitas and steak super taco. The taco shell is corn and it is fried, they give a good amount of meat and aren't skimpy with the toppings. The cashier also gave us free chips and salsa for our first time dining experience! There is also a bar attached. Loved the tacos, even though I only got two I was stuffed. Come here if you want authentic and cheap tacos! read more

It's mainly metered street parking in the area. I was able to park across the street around 1:30pm on a weekday.
