Went here because I was craving some good Mexican food and it was exactly what I was looking for. The service is really great -- kind, polite, and professional. And the portion size was HUGE. Like, when I lifted up the super burrito I got, it had some serious weight on it. The quality was really good too, fresh ingredients and a yummy, flaky tortilla. I was hungry but I could only eat half myself, so it's good if you're looking for some leftovers!

    Super Burrito with Carne Asada

The carne asada is so tender and well seasoned. I got the super burrito and it is delicious. The staff was so nice. I'm glad I decided to try this place. My new spot :-)

In Hayward near where my brother lives. They have a red building that stands out in a good way while driving on Mission, I saw the good reviews and when in the mood for Mexican we decided to come. It's beloved on Yelp as a great place to eat in Hayward! Chicken Quesadilla: Kids loved this, tortilla was well cooked on both sides and the inside was a good amount of chicken and not just a ton of cheese. Super Tacos Asada: Carne Asada, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and salsa, wrapped in a corn tortilla, garnished with onions and cilantro. Wanted to really treat ourselves and this is a decadent treat that will drip all over your hands and make you want to take a nap. Tacos: Had the asada and al pastor and the unique thing is it comes with pico de gallo on top. Tasted good but I like it with just onion and cilantro to make the meat shine.

If you've read my reviews before, you know that if I like something, I'll go back again and again. This time, the food was so good my husband went back the very next day--mind you, he doesn't even like Mexican food like that. I've had Lalo's Taqueria bookmarked on Yelp for months! I live in Union City, so I don't always want to make the drive down Mission to Hayward. My husband was on his way home with his food, so I figured it was the perfect time to try them out. I ordered a super taco de carnitas--definitely a 9/10. It had a little too much avocado and sour cream, but it was GOOD. The carnitas were juicy, and all the flavors mixed really well. I also got a carne asada plate, 9/10 as well. The carne was seasoned sooooo well, but a little dry in some parts. The rice and beans were really good, and I love that it came with lots of salsa and a side of tortillas. My husband tried all my food, so he went back the next day and ordered: Super tacos de carnitas, but for some reason he got a quesadilla de carnitas. It was pretty good, so we didn't get upset, but I think there was a miscommunication when I ordered on the phone. It was the same price as a taco, so I didn't even care to check. He also ordered the super fries with carnitas, 7/10. They were drenched in the sour cream and avocado cream, which made them soggy. We still loved the flavors though, so 7/10 feels fair. Overall, we'll definitely be going back and trying more of their meats in our tacos.

Discover Lalos Taqueria just recently. Wanted to try something else other than La Victoria Taqueria. So far so good. On the pricey side $15+. We only tried the Super Burrito and regular Burritos. Lalos also so has an Orange sauce called Lalos Sauce. Its like LaVics orange sauce but not as good. I wouldn't say is bad. Is still good but we prefer LaVics orange sauce. My son wanted to try the New Flaming Hot Cheetos Burrito. I gave it 3/5 I thought it would be spicy but it was not. I didn't like that it had fries inside. I think that's what made it heavy. 2.5 pounds. It had good flavor. All the meats had good flavor. I tried the AL Pastor Burrito. The cashier asked me if I wanted pineapple in it. It also my first time hearing pineapple in an Al Pastor Burrito. Maybe it's their on special thing that they put in their AL Pastor.

Went here for dinner with a group, its like a small restaurant meant more for pickup orders but they did have 5-6 tables there. Cashier was really nice, and I decided to get the super burrito with chicken. Burrito tasted really good, and so did their classic orange sauce but I personally really loved the other mango sauce as it was like mango-y and spicy! This is a great option in the area, and I'd definitely come back.

Lalo's Taqueria is worth a visit if you're in the area! My husband and I had a craving for tacos while we were in the area and a quick Yelp search led us to Lalo's Taqueria. We were able to find parking easily on the street. We both opted for 3 tacos each and these are hefty tacos, people! I mean, I was shooked. The person who took our order was very friendly and personable. He gave us chips and all 3 salsas to eat with it and the Lalo's sauce was my favorite. Overall, they're definitely a great option if you're ever in the area or even not because I'd gladly travel over here just for the food.

Asada tacos... no seasoning on my asada (health reasons).
    Raider ..

Called in my order and it was smooth from jump. The young lady who helped me with my phone order was super sweet. I got two tacos (no salt), super nachos de asada and a regular burrito... and everything was fire. Portions were big, flavor was on point and the quality did not disappoint. The spot was clean, the staff was welcoming, and the salsas were straight bomb. (Green salsa was my fav). Definitely pull up and give Lalo's Taqueria a try it's my new go-to for me and the fam.

This place has been on my list since I moved to town last year, and I finally decided to give it try. So glad I did! Went on a Saturday afternoon and no one was there. One couple came in after us, but that was about it. I feel like this place is more of a delivery/pickup spot, but they do have plenty of seating inside if you choose to eat there. Inside is clean and well maintained. It's a taqueria what do you expect? Ordered the carne asada plate, carne asada regular taco and an horchata. All I could say was YUM. the carne asada plate was soooo good. The meat was tender, the beans and rice seasoned perfectly and the avocado was fresh. The caramelized onion and jalapeños were a nice touch too. I licked my plate clean. The carne asada taco was also bomb. They stuffed it full of carne and beans every bite had something. The guy was so nice he gave us extra salsas and sour cream for free. It's the little things. The horchata was hands down my favorite. I'm picky with my horchata and this was exactly how I like it. Sweet not watered down just delightful. Might be my new go to taqueria. I'll be back to try their burritos and other menu items soon!

I went in to lalo's today for a super shredded chicken burrito. I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Lalo. What a very sweet and humble man. It was a pleasure meeting you today Lalo! Your burritos are number 1 to me.

Quesabirria (comes in 3 per plate/order)
    Brenda C.

The food here is so bomb!! I always leave satisfied and happy. 10/10 my all time favorites are the super taco and the quesabirrias. The tortilla is not too soft nor too crunchy and the meat actually has flavor. The service is also amazing, Lalo and his wife Flori are very nice and attentive. They remember you and what you order, feels almost like family.

Super burrito and 3 different sauces from mild to hot
    Sheila E.

Their sauces were really good. The star was the orange sauce. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by their super al pastor burrito. I was really looking forward to the pineapple that I read from someone else's review and mine did not have it. Also, the al pastor was dry. The sauces really saved it for me. Maybe I'll come back for a different dish if I'm in the area. I was also disappointed that there's no public restroom. Come with clean hands and an empty bladder.

Anyway, I came here randomly for lunch because I really liked the one in Dublin. I ordered a quesadilla and 2 tacos with a drink. Honestly it was kinda steep, but that's just how the economy is now. While it is part of Southland Mall, it's not attached to the actual mall. It's near Panera and several doors down from Panda. Most tables were filled by the time I arrived on Sunday evening but with only 1 person in line to order. I ordered 3 burritos and 2 tacos to go, and it came to about $55, tip optional. To the left of the ordering area, there is a chips/salsa bar with containers for the salsa/lime, and bags and "boats" for the chips. I prepared chips, pico de gallo, and lime while waiting for my number to be called. Thirty minute commute later, I got home, and we took everything out. Chips were large pieces, very crunchy, and still warm (not sure if warm originally or because they were on top of my food). Tacos were grilled chicken and carne asada. There were 2 tortillas as usual and plenty of meat on top. Squeezed some lime on it, and it was yummy, but I should have poured some salsa on it so that it didn't taste as dry. User error, but I didn't want to be greedy with the salsa and didn't bring enough for the chips and meals. My daughter took the chicken taco home but said the pieces of chicken she picked at had very good flavor. She also took her chicken burrito home, so I can't comment on that. My carne asada burrito had ample amount of steak along w/beans and rice. The pico de gallo kept it from being dry, but I didn't like that it had bell peppers in it because to me, even though it's very little amount, it still overwhelms the taste of everything. The burrito was so large that I could only finish half of it. My husband ate the super fish burrito. While he liked it, he said it didn't have enough fish and possibly had too much sour cream and guacamole (which he's never said before!). Also, he felt the cheese also overwhelmed the taste. I'm thinking if there were more fish, it would have equalized everything though. Overall, if I were in the area, I would return but make sure I dine in to get a better feel of all the flavors and possibly order something else.
