    Horchata and duritos

AMAZING TACOS!!! I order one regular taco and one tijuana style taco of carne asada and an horchata. I also got complimentary duritos. The meat was soft and very flavorful definitely did not expect that. The tijuana style taco had guac and i decided to add their creamy habanero sauce too which just made it even better. Highly recommend coming to support this place. You wont be disappointed at all. The service was great too! Luis is such a friendly person and there was plenty of seating indoors and out.

This little shop has some pretty good Tacos! All of their meat was char-coal grilled, juicy, charred, and hot! Taco was made with fresh nutty tortillas! Their variety of sauce was amazing too! If you love friendly customer service, great presentation, supper spicy sauce and some amazing taco, this is the place for it! TACOS ($3.49 each) :: TORTILLA : Their tortilla was pretty good. It's not the store bought one, it's actually made fresh. This is what unique about this place because of their food quality; flavor and texture. The tortilla was nutty and soft. RATE : 5/5 ALL MEAT SELECTION : was charcoal-grilled so it has a nice burnt char on it. Everything was preheat on a flat top. All the juice from the meat is still there. Which makes everything even better. Hot, juicy, and tasty. Everything just melts together. RATE : 5/5 CONSOMMÉ : was nice and hot. The flavor was perfect and mellow. It goes well with the birria. It's not overly over powering all the flavoring. It's perfectly seasoned; rich and simple. RATE : 5/5 AL PASTOR : I ca not describe this flavor but it makes me feel like I'm in a tia/abulita home and enjoying her authentic food. The flavor was nicely seasoned with spices. The difference and uniqueness of the al pastor taco was a slice of pineapple. It gives a nice sweet flavor to it and it's not bad. It goes well with and without it. RATE : 5/5 ASADA : it's a basic slightly seasoned asada. It's not bad. It's actually pretty good and goes well with the tortilla. RATE : 5/5 BIRRIA : It's a little sad to say that they over cook the birria so the meat is a bit dry. It was well seasoned with the consommé. The flavoring is there but the meat is a bit dry. I'm glad that the soup actually help the taco a lot by rehydrating it a little bit. RATE : 4/5 TIJUANA STYLE TACO : comes with fresh choped onions and cilantro, and guacamole. Char-coal grilled meats. I believe this is the hardest way to cook taco meat! With all the stuffing condiments for this style is a plus too! RATE : 5/5 SAUCES :: ALERT! All sauce are spicy and hot! BLACK HABANERO : have the same spice level as the habanero but a lot more vinegary! RATE : 3/5 HABANERO : have the same spice level as the black habanero but a little less vinegary. It's a bit more eadilble than the black habanero; unless you like vinegar. I'm not a fan of vinegar stuff. RATE : 5/5 CREAMY HABANERO: this one reminds me of chipotle sauce from taco bell but its 10x more spicy and creamy. It's pretty good. This gives the taco taste more americanize taco stlye. RATE : 5/5 RED : The red and green sauce is not as spicy as the habanero sauces. The red sauce is a bit water down. It kind of give me the watery tomatillo tomatoey hot sauce. RATE : 3/5 GREEN : the green sauce was refreshing. I can taste the freshly grind up veggies. The crunch is there too! Fresh and spicy green sauce was amazing! RATE : 5/5 PRESENTATION : the way they present their food was amazing. They are generous on the portion. It's packed with meat and a lighlty sprinkled of fresh veggies. It feels like a 5 star taco shop! They nicely wraped the tacos and placed it down neatly on a board. The easy access of cone wrapped was ready for you to just grab and eat it. CONDIMENTS/COMPLIMENTARY :: GRILLED ONIONS : Nicely charred and grilled. Sweet and soft. A bit cold. JALAPEÑO : was sweet and soft. A bit cold. CHICHARRON/FLOUR CHIPS : we dine-In and they gave us some chips for complimentary. AMBIANCE :: The location of this shop is in a 1 way awkward corner so you have to loop around the driveway to get there. The exterrior looks a little beaten, small, and sketchy to me at first but it is a taco shop. The interrior gives me the vibe of a bar. Other than that, it's a cute warm and homey little Mexican shop. Interioir was clean and nicely decorated to make it feel spacious and cozy. They do have a patio for dinning too. The shop seems like a local family owned; papa cooking, mama taking order and two young lady assisting/serving. The lady that help us with our order was really sweet. She showed us their shop on the news and the menu. It was really quiet in there with some music on low volume.

This used to be the Lions Den which I never tried but I heard of this from a stranger who was talking about how he always stops here when he is in town. The place is really small but cozy. The staff is friendly, they have a salsa bar and they do offer beer on tap. I ordered 4 tacos 1Cabeza-head 1Lengua-tongue 1Camaron-shrimp 1Pescado-fish The best salsa goes to the Habanero and rating the tacos fish and shrimp are tied for first place, but if I really had to choose I'd give it to Shrimp. The reason for my 4 stars has to do with the fact that the Cabeza and Lengua were not great. They were dry and not cooked to softness. I like those meats to melt in my mouth and not have to chew so much, but the tortillas are fresh and are really good. I wish I would've ordered 2shrimp and 2fish because OMG THEY ARE HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN TOWN!!! I will return to have some more. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PECADO AND CAMARON RECIPE IT'S PERFECT!!!

Hole in the wall spot with good tacos! The meats were all very flavorful and well cooked. Tons of sauces and sides you can add on as well. They even brought out a basket of chips for us too right when we sat down.

They had their food truck at the Southwest Night Market. My friend said their tacos were good so we went for it! We each got the vampire tacos. Those things are HUGE! It's a cheese toastda shell filled with the meat and cheese topped with another shell with beans and cheese on top. Meat. Meat makes your tacos and food right. Yeah. They got the meat right. I had carne asada. Then I ordered the quesabirria taco. Omg. Favorite! The girl recommended it because it had the dipping sauce. Yup. Yum....I love that everything was filled. Didn't feel like I was missing out on any meat. Got my money worth! They give you radish, cucumber, lemon and salsas automatically. Didn't event have to ask. If the vampire thing isn't your thing, the quesobirria taco was AMAZING! Get that for sure.

We were in town for one day and we decided to check out this place . We had seen videos on tik tok so we were excited to see all the good food. So first we all ordered different plates . My daughter's torta was just ok not the 100% great . My tacos had no salt ! But the home made tortillas were soo delicious . , the kids cheeseburgers were ok not anything great about having a burger at a taco place . Fries were good . My husband's tacos were bland , he added lots of salt and salsa. I love their grilled jalapeno ! Delicious . There Micheladas has ice, I prefer no ice in my beer but it is how they make them . You pay first then get your meal , so there was no waiter anyone checking up on us . But that's how the restaurant runs . Place was empty we were the only ones there . They played good music in the back ground . I would say 3 1/2 starts . I wouldn't eat there again . The food was ok .... Just not great !!

Tacos azteca and tacos al estilo Tijuana and a Pacifico was my order. All the way from the ambiance, to the flavorful meat, homemade tortillas and excellent customer service I rate El Asadero Taco Grill a good five stars. I would post a pic, but I was hungry and just went straight for the taco-kill.

A 10, a TEN, A F***en 10!!! After eating I dozed off into space and an hour passed by (lol). The drinks came first. While we were sipping, sitting out back, table top w/ a mid day breeze, the sun was shining and my girl and I were at ease. The tacos came and we went straight for the breaded Shrimp tacos! One each and she couldnt get to the second stage. Two in for me and I was already hypnotized. Our drink nearly got us, Micheladas and we don't even want to leave. Hands down, I'm about to rent an RV just so we may camp for the day just to explore there entire menu. Definite Must Try. This was our of our way and we still plan to come back.

They load you up with meat that are all cleverly seasoned and prepared. Asada has smokey taste to it that I think some places lack. Pastor has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy . Buche is savory and doesn't feel like you're even eating offal. Everything is loaded up! The loaded potato has about a 1/2" lb of meat or more. The quesadillas are plump! Meat almost falls out. Sauces and other accompaniments are self serve and you can get as much as you want. Their chipotle salsa is spicy but damn is it good. They even have spicy onions that I never see. While you wait for your meal and watch the taquero at work, they have beans, tostadas, nopal, grilled onions and jalapenos all just sitting there FOR FREE. They also have some tiny potatoes soaking in the meat juices if you're lucky enough that they haven't run out (also for free!). The experience is just so customer forward and this is a gem that I hope expands even more. They have deals every week from buy one get one tortas, $1 tacos at a certain day at each location. It's often they have a line so consider yourself blessed if there isn't.

The place is pretty easy to find on the corner of 18th & R. There isn't a lot of seating for more than parties of 4. We were a party of 6 and we all smooshed into a horseshoe booth inside. There are only 2 of these booths available and they indicated they are not able to place additional seating at the booths. I imagine you might be able to put tables together outside for a larger party. We were greeted warmly, and while I felt overwhelmed by the amazing choices, the gal taking our order put me at ease by walking me through the menu board. We got amazing carnitas quesadillas and tacos and another dish that came on top of a mound of delicious fries. It's the kind of place where you order, then sit down and they bring you the food. We were well taken care of. Our drinks were refilled and they brought us 'to go' boxes. Their portions are generous and just tasty. And the iced tea was perfect! We ordered a full order of chips and salsa. That is extra. It was $6 for a full order ($5 for half) and these chips were well worth the cost. We will be back!
