I had a burrito that had a hot garlic sauce on it and inside it had rice steak chicken and I think it was supposed to have bell pepper and onion but the chicken and rice were cutting such tiny pieces. They were almost nonexistent. The flavor was OK but the sauce had way too much garlic and it had no heat to it. And even the waitress said it was hot. The service was OK and the place was clean. And everybody was very friendly so not sure if I'll recommend it or not. Maybe if I tried something different It would be OK. read more

After two years of avoiding this place like the plague I got desperate and gave it another try. New paint and cleaned up so maybe better food also. Id love to see the place make it. There's always people there but the food is nasty. Not sure what the people in Gravette are used to eating. I'd consider myself a survivalist and could eat most anything. Idk what they do to the chicken. I can't decide if it's seasoning, spoiled or freezer burnt. Nothing has flavor, from the margarita to the salsa. I think mom and pop places in small towns work harder to make great food. The flour tortillas were fresh, soft and flavorful. The filling in the tacos had just the right amount of spice. The place was packed! Several tables of 8 or more but the staff remained friendly. Loved all the beautiful hand paintings of Mexican scenery, vibrant, colorful. I see why they have a great following. Owner will try to add more authentic dishes but has been disappointed that local tastebuds aren't more adventurous. I'm looking forward to it! read more

Service here is always great and I love the homemade salsa this place serves up. Stopped in here a while back and had the lunch special. It was 3 tacos hard shell ground beef and came with rice n beans and a endless supply of chips and salsa. Everything was really good. The meat inside the tacos were excellent. I had a glass of water and I got out of here for less than 10 bucks including tip!!! I will be back to try the sizzling fajitas that was coming out while I was there. Straight off the bat when we were walking up to the door the worker opened the second door and helped us in and that is by far the nicest thing to do, not only did they greet us but also provided us with whatever booth we wanted and were so nice about it. The food here is amazing and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Arkansas. The smell is great and the chips and their salsa. The surroundings are also a very nice sight with their paintings and beautiful cultured music. read more

My coworkers and I stop by at least once a week. We looooooove the homemade salsa. Our favorites lately have been Flautas, Tamales, or Quesadillas. Although, you'll be happy with just about everything on the menu. The customer service is always spectacular and they aren't shy with the chips and salsa, thankfully. Even after seeing them during the week my husband and I come some weekends because he loves it too! He gets the California Burrito which I HIGHLY recommend. Delicious. It is a large burrito though, so plan on a to go box. The prices are fair and the employees are kind. My husband is typically a stingy tipper(lol) but @ El Bo he always tips because they deserve it. To be honest, it's not my husband and I's preferred place to eat. It's super close to our house and it's annoying because we usually end up driving 15-20 away to get different Mexican food. That being said, it's not bad. It's just not what we are used to. We have a friend that loves this place. Every so often I get lazy and just do pick up here instead of driving further. It is a bummer that they charge extra for their chips and salsa if you do takeout. It is decent salsa. Not like the tomato paste that you get in some places. Found myself in downtown Gravette Saturday afternoon. Not many choices in Gravette, AR to eat but this mexican restaurant was fairly good. We shared chicken and beef fajitas. It was a lot of food. The meat was solid strips and not that little "squirrely" meat you find at some local mexican resaurants. Salsa was full of cilantro...which I love and the white cheese dtip was good. WoW - was not expecting to find great tex-mex like this in a little bitty town like Gravette!! The hot sauce is amazing!! The chips are served hot and are light and crispy. The service is good and it has a nice ambiance - with well done murals on the walls! Highly recommend this place! I am a regular at this fine establishment. The California Burrito, Burrito Asada, and Fajitas (Chorizo is my favorite) are each fantastic. Their salsa is good, and if you like hot salsa, ask for it! You won't be disappointed. Service here is usually somewhere between good and excellent. Prices are normal and the portion sizes are good. Our small group of ladies were in the area for a float trip and didn't plan for dinner for our second night so we decided to scout the area. Even though there are not a lot of options, we were referred to El Bohemio from a wonderful restaurant owner located in Gravette's neighboring town of Sulpher Springs. She suggested that we check out her friend's Mexican joint located 4 miles down the road and that we did! The staff here was so friendly and the food was delish! I suggest ordering a bowl of white queso, but the challenge will be not to stuff yourself before your main dish even arrives. I ordered the mini chimi with chicken and it was very filling and quite tasty. Worth checking out especially if you enjoy Mexican food! read more
