Nice atmosphere, great service, and amazing food!! I didn't catch our servers name, but he was perfect! Everyone who helped at our table super helpful and had a big smile on their face. I got Hawaiian fajitas and it was BOMB!! Carter got the Steven's special, he crushed that. Great portions, fair prices, tastes PHENOMENAL! So flavorful, everything cooked to perfection, just perfect perfect perfect! I wish I had room for dessert, definitely have to come back! Best Mexican food around here. Highly, highly recommend!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Super yummy food! We stopped in to this place visiting family in Bella Vista. It was very tasty!

Great food and prices! Service was quick and the employees were nice. We got a lot of food and everything we had was great. Would definitely come here again

    30% alcohol tax?

This place charged a 30 percent alcohol tax on top of the regular food tax last night. Combine this scam with the mediocre food and we'll never be back! We have not seen this tax on any receipt from numerous restaurants and bars we frequent in Bella vista, bentonville, or rogers BEWARE

So this is my 3rd time ordering from here. Very disappointed in the cook or cooks who let this meat get dry and tough. This is also the 2nd time I've asked for no greens, guacamole or salad but extra rice and beans. AGAIN the cook/cooks remembered to leave all that out but AGAIN forgot my Extras. Now I saw my waitress write it all down but yet they do not Accommodate my request Even though I am $paying$ for it. Customer service is very good. But the kitchen needs to get it together!

Went here today and had a new thing. I got the walley special and it was crab, shrimp, and scallops in enchiladas with white sauce and rice and guacamole salad. The cheese sauce was a bit spicy but the dish over all was the best enchiladas I have ever had.

The food was excellent, the service was great! I enjoyed this little place on my birthday and it was a great treat! There is always time for Hispanic food! The restrooms and restaurant were very clean. It's got an older feel. The food was very fresh and right on time. The service was so friendly. We will definitely be back when in the area again!

Presentation is good and service was okay but the food is bland and highly salted. The salsa is basically water.

Went here for a team building work lunch. This was my first time dining here and I really liked…read morethe decor and overall ambiance, but it was really busy and fairly loud inside. There were 8 people in our group and they ended up seating us outside which wasn't a problem as it was warm and sunny. Once seated our server took our drink order quickly and followed up shortly with taking an order for appetizers. Which also came out fairly quickly. Our server then took our entree orders. He returned three or four times to replenish/refill drinks for the females in our group but ignored me and the other male in our group, until we asked for a refill. Our entree's took about 20 - 25 minutes to come out and there were several minutes between the first and last to make it to the table. In the business district of the town where most of their lunchtime weekday customers are workers on lunch break they need to be getting the food out the kitchen quicker. As for the food presentation was nice. Everyone's dishes looked really fresh and appetizing. Two of our team had the shrimp taco's and they was so much moisture in them they ended up eating them with a knife and fork. Another two on our team had the Quesabirria. They said it tasted good but had more cheese than Burria. As for my own dish, I had the poblanos with steak, which is three enchiladas covered in a poblano sauce with a side of rice. The portion was a reasonable size but the steak was chewy and while it wasn't bad the poblano sauce just didn't impress me. It was just plain in flavor, with not much poblano flavor. Like I mentioned earlier we were seated outside. I was about two thirds the way through my meal and found a small black hair in the sauce. Where we were sat was pretty breezy so I cannot say if the hair came with my meal or if it was blown onto my food, but it was not the best end to what I would call a lackluster meal.

Ordering skirt steak from any restaurant is hit or miss sometimes but let me tell you both of ours came out amazing! Both of our steaks were perfectly cooked no fat whatsoever on them and they were perfectly seasoned and tender. It was so good! We loved the onions on the side and the beans were very good too. What won our hearts over was the green sauce with avocado chunks in it, it was delicious and such a nice touch. The service was quick and our waiter was friendly. The restaurant was decorated modernly and very clean. We will definitely be returning!

The high ceilings and plenty of light along with comfortable seating helped create a welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive and personable. As for the food: we tried a carne asada burrito, avocado tacos, and al cilantro enchiladas which included freshly made rice and refried black beans and a fresh salad. Everything was delicious. All of the ingredients were fresh. The food was well seasoned and beautifully presented on the plate. We greatly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this restaurant.

TLDR - don't go!…read more First sign this wasn't going to be a great restaurant... how many words do I need to look up to read the menu? One is too many and I'd say more like 5 here! Random words with no explanation- one word I never found a translation for. Here are examples you might want to look them up in advance LOL: Palatero: Cochinita Pibil: Campestre; Esquites Maybe you know these words. I did not. Maybe I could have asked but we were already being given attitude. The waitress started acting like we were a burden from the first interaction- a request for water with no ice (they bring ice water to the table on the first trip - I'm not sure how it's MY fault that I don't like ice - but the huff and rolled eyes were my clue to her annoyance). Confusion at ordering - one of my companions wanting clarification- even pointing to what they wanted and asking questions. The waitress was obviously already frustrated and instead of explaining and making sure everything was clear just walked away. Items came but didn't match what was ordered and the pushback included a huffy manager. Finally got what was ordered but.... Now to the food- cheese dip was ok but certainly not worthy of the price. Rice and beans were fine. But the Bland guacamole was an insult to the avocado. The chips are hard and too thick. Perhaps stale too? They do a dip sampler - emphasis on sampler as there might be 2 Tablespoons of each dip! The worst dish was the tortilla soup. Pros - lots of chicken. Cons - very bland! A little too much heat but no flavor, no seasoning. Most tortilla soups have some freshness - cilantro, maybe some pico de gallo or at least some diced tomato. Nope, chicken, cheese, chips and some crema drizzled over the top. Soooooo - staff that acted like they were doing us a favor. Food that was just better than edible, The highlight? The decor is nice. Ok - NW Arkansas does not have a lot of great Mexican places. Or Tex Mex. But this place is permanently off my list! Too pricey, bad food and rude staff!

Interestingly, they were…read moreplaying Cuban jazz and salsa--pleasant, but I found myself wishing for something like Selena y Los Dinos or Emmanuel Cortes to better match the vibe. The agave spirits selection is underwhelming, though that may be influenced by visiting the day after "Gringo de Mayo." The chips are comparable to standard "restaurant-style" options you'd find at a grocery store. The quesadilla is a bit unusual--there's no integrated mix of cheese and protein. Instead, the components are kept separate, which explains why the menu describes it as "baked." I initially thought that was odd, but it makes more sense now. The ranchero beans are overly salted, with little depth beyond that. While there appear to be other seasonings, they don't come through. The rice is plain and unremarkable.

When we arrived at the hotel late, we wanted to grab a quick dinner and I had eaten at an Abuelo's in Orlando many times. Felt like that was a solid choice for us since we knew it was not a gamble. Rick was our server and he was helpful and friendly. He brought out their trio of salsas with hot tortilla chips that felt like they were made minutes before. Not sure if they are, but they did taste fantastic! I love their queso here, and they had a Diablo one that I hadn't had before but we decided to get the dip trio- queso, Diablo queso, and guacamole. What an epic decision! They came with more tortilla chips but also chicharrones which was sturdier and could hold up to the thicker Diablo queso and guacamole. I couldn't stop eating the salsa and dips. I chose to get a combination plate, with an enchilada, taco, and tamale. Rick mentioned they had a mashed potato side that was tasty- not expected for a Mexican restaurant but I decided to take the recommendation. Rick came through, honestly I could've eaten just the dips and potatoes and had been super happy about it. I overate, which was a problem but in a good way because I fell asleep immediately after we got back to the hotel. We were doing a crazy travel week where we were in 5 states, two countries for meetings, so not a lot of rest. It's part of a chain but this one was clean, friendly, with great execution on the food. Rick was clutch with more salsa and chips which in the end was my undoing but I didn't care. Visit here and make sure you try their dips, and the mashed potato side which may have been one of the best things I had all week. Dead serious! The next time I go I'm going to ask for no rice and beans and just get these crazy mashed potatoes. Thank you Rick and Abuelo's for reminding me that every now and then, going to eat at a chain spot is still a good thing.
