We stopped in today to get lunch. We were seated promptly and service was pretty good throughout. The food was hit and miss. The guacamole and fajitas were good. The entrees made with ground beef weren't very good, so my recommendation would be to stick with fajita meat. Don't bother with the queso. Ambiance was great. Salsa and chips were also great. I had Carnitas, best I've had in a long time. Although, I would have preferred the carnitas cut into smaller pieces before frying. My wife had the veggie fajitas, which she said were really tasty. Service was awesome. We'll be back for sure. read more

So this is my 3rd time ordering from here. Very disappointed in the cook or cooks who let this meat get dry and tough. Blech! Thank goodness I'm a tourist and won't ever have to come here again. For Mexican food this was maybe 1 notch above Taco Bell. All tasted old and processed. Service was very mediocre- not even a hello! To say I felt rushed by the staff is an understatement. They tried to take my plate when was half finished taking a drink of water. An annoying disappointment, this place was. Out with my husband and mother-in-law to one of their favorite restaurants, but on this particular evening, I found their food and customer care, in need of tweaking. My hubby and I have been craving queso dip and salsa for quite some time. Salsa and chips automatically arrived to our table. Their salsa was a mish mash of pureed tomato, lacking in heat, cilantro, lime, onion and everything that makes salsa, salsa. EP's queso was a liquidity cheesy concoction, with the slightest hint of heat. We created our own sauce, with the watery cheese sauce and the bland salsa. My tacos were supposed to come with steak and cheese; they did not. I informed our waiter, who came to our table with the menu item I asked for, but once again, without the steak and cheese. I asked for the management. I waited and waited, until frustration took over and walked from my seat, in search of a manager. After explaining the mishap, this item was removed from our bill. Parking can be a little tight, so time your arrival. Good salsa and chips. The mild sauce had a great taste of garlic and cilantro. Hot salsa is available. Mix it with the regular salsa for the perfect combination. We tried the Enchiladas Mesquite. It was a huge plate of three cheese enchiladas covered in an excellent tomatillo/cilantro sauce. The enchiladas were accompanied with black beans, rice, and were topped off with a nice slice of grilled steak. It was generous plate of delicious food. The other meal was my favorite Mexican meal, carne asada. On the plate were two nice sized, thin cut slices of char grilled steak. The plate came with the standard fare of rice beans salad and guacamole. It too was a tasty meal, but a side order of a chili toreado topped it off. The chili toreado came with grilled onions that went well with the steak. Our experience was very good. Very good food! Very good service! Quality control can be hit or miss. Generally satisfactory, last night I got the Carne Asada taco dinner and my wife got the Roadhouse tacos. In both cases, while the tortillas were fresh, they were undercooked. The tortillas had absolutely zero browning consequently they were falling apart while each of us ate the tacos.
