I've eaten here a few times with different friends each time. And so far I find something good on my plate and something lacking of flavor for me. It's true, we eat with our eyes first. So plating in pictures needs to look appealing. And everything I have seen here does just that. Unfortunately, the pictures don't always match the flavor. In my surf and turf plate, the shrimp and chicken were good. But my steak lacked flavor and was tuff to cut and eat for such a thin piece of meat. This led me to believe that it lacked marinating and tenderizing. The ambience here is casual, but I do see people dressed up each time I was here. It does say "Modern Mexican grill" which also leads me to believe they played with the national drink of Cuba, "Mojito" for the title of this restaurant. For those of you who don't know, Mojito's history is traced to 16th-century Cuba. Which why it was a little confusing as a Mexican grill. Although 2 servers assured me that it was Mexican, not Cuban. Visiting from Texas, we were just hoping for some good margaritas and decent food. What we got was the best queso we have had in I don't know how long, delicious chipotle chicken and rice, and amazing service. We sat at the bar to watch a soccer game and Elmer and Ruben were so attentive. Jocelyn was a hustler and so pleasant to deal with! We met one of the partners, Deon, and he made great suggestions about what to order and was just so friendly and personable. I wish this restaurant was in Texas. It is fantastic! I have driven by this location for a few years but just now trying it out. It is a fairly large location with lots of indoor seating, some outdoor and a large bar area. The place was fairly full on a Sunday evening, those in the area seem to like it. We were greeted quickly and got drinks and chips/salsa/queso. They were good. We placed our orders and food came timely. I would not call their food authentic at all. With 8 at the table, reviews were mixed. I had the Pollo Loco, a marinated chicken breast and rice and beans. Nice cold Dos XX Amber on tap is a great way to start. Good chips, just slightly thicker than I prefer, but salsa makes up for it with very good flavor, but absent any trace of spicy heat. Mixed chicken and steak fajitas were a decent price, but steak was a little chewy and both chicken and steak needed a bit more flavor, although there was plenty to fill me up. The food has always been good. It's consistent. I don't always get the same thing but I know what to expect and it's never been a let down. We always get house margaritas, that are on the sting side, but good none the less. Lately we have been setting at the bar to watch games, but there are TVs throughout the restaurant. They turn the volume up for local interest games. It's really an underrated spot to watch a game in my opinion. I've been here several times and although I don't have anything to really point out as a problem, there's always something just a little off each time I come. Went here for lunch today at about 11:15 Only saw one other table of two people. They sat me close to them Chips and small bowl salsa came quick But I proceeded to sit there almost 15 minutes as servers passed by, and none ever stopped to ask what I wanted to drink or take my order. Or even say welcome. Finally I got up and left. Strange.... Crazy! We ordered takeout tonight over the phone. Easy pickup and food was packed well. The queso is BOMB! Perfectly melted and smooth, creamy white queso with chips! Everything else paled in comparison haha. My veggie fajitas were a little strange, they came with flour tortillas and had broccoli and carrots as the veggies... weird! Stopped in and started our night out with a Razorback BloodOrange margarita. My favorite. My husband had a traditional frozen margarita. We had cheese dip and chips which are really good. Their salsa is well blended and tasty. For dinner we shared chicken fajitas and charro beans. The fajitas come with rice, lettuce, guacamole, pico and sour cream. All were fabulous. We had such a Wonderful experience! Mojitos Rogers earned number one take out position as my go to take out! The customer service gets a 100% in my book! For the family meal we ordered, let's start with shrimp cocktail: best in the area and a must get item. The flavor profile is exquisite with plenty of shrimp for two to share. Next up, the flautas: they are excellent and perfect for sharing. They had a very homemade flavor to them, like what your mother or grandmother would make. Very comfort-food quality! Mouth watering fried tamales: again a must have! At first I was a bit reserved due to the name, but let me tell you that it is a decadent bite you will enjoy. Fajita burrito is my favorite. Needless to say I am a fan. Much like the flautas, the flavor and texture have a homemade quality to them. Finally, I wanted to say a big Thank you to all the mojitos crew for your stay-safe-with-a-smile attitude during this pandemic and for rising above all those places that have a "we don't care about our quality or service" restaurants. After this last meal, I won't be returning. The salsa was watered down, the cheese enchiladas had to be cut with a knife bc it was so hard. Even the WATER tasted disgusting !!!! I could only take two drinks out of it, even after squeezing two lemons into it. We immediately had to go by Walgreens afterwards to get a drink to get the awful taste out of our mouths. As I type this review, I am trying to keep my meal down. Frozen dinners have tasted better than this meal. Mojito's, What Happened???? How could the food quality go down so much??? First time here today 8/19/17 very friendly as soon as you walk in, we got seated at a table and immediately got chips and salsa the waitress was nice she took out drink order and promptly brought them. I ordered off the lunch menu I chose two items for $7, two chicken enchiladas, they had lots of chicken in them, the beans were not good very dry and the rice was a bit over cooked . I also ordered a peach margarita it didn't taste like peach at all, when I went to pay for it they charged $12 for the drink plus an addition $4 for the liquor I don't know what that was all about, but so so service and okay food. read more

I have visited Mojitos several times and ordered fajitas and margaritas and been satisfied; however, my last visit was a nightmare. I sat at the bar on a Saturday evening and ordered a margarita and the veggie quesadillas. The bar was busy and the service was not great but my biggest issue was with the quesadillas. The contents consisted of very large chunks of broccoli stems and whole baby carrots with a bit of cheese and possibly some other vegetables. I've posted a photo. Who puts large pieces of carrots and broccoli in a quesadilla? It was inedible. I mentioned these large chunks to the waiter who didn't acknowledge my issue or ask If I wanted something else. I finally flagged him down and just ordered queso so I would have something to eat. My meal was over $20 and I went away hungry and very unsatisfied. :( Not sure I will go back at this point. The view of the place caught my eye. my order: -app: beef tamales: OMG, havent had tamales since my great grandma.. that sauce that comes with the orded, 4 thumbs up, lol -speciall mojitos: has shrimp, beef & chicken, chorizo, bell peppers and onions.. comes with beans/rice, two thumbs up -there are two plates of rice eat in this world: mu wife and my daughter, so kuddos to this place, this rice is awesome, but not as awesome as my wifes, sorry gues, lol the selection on menu is great and very $$ price awesome bar area, plenty of TV's 10 at bar, 6 at sittings.. enough lighting in area.. 120% friendly staff, ready to serve and answer any questions. when i come back here to visit the customer, this is one place i can come twice. the bar has 12 beers on tap amd all the good latino liquor to make.. this place needs to open up in Texad, all i have to say. read more

Mojitos, No words, worst food I think I've ever eaten. Ordered a cheese enchilada and a spinach enchilada, they were cold, cheese not melted. They spinach was like cold, pickled and disgusting. Beef burrito was ground beef in a tortilla, over cooked and over season yesterday's leftovers, no cheese or anything, also cold. Rice wasn't good either. Dr. Pepper was good. I'd argue that 12 wouldn't be enough, but we got half of that. Tortillas are cheap and easy to throw in a bag. If they can't get that right, I can't trust them to get anything right. read more

Best Mexican food in rogers/bentonville area. Superb service, excellent chips and salsa (and everyone gets their own salsa, so no sharing at the table!!) And consistently great food. The chips and salsa were fresh and arrived promptly once seated. I had the enchiladas supreme which was a good portion at a fair price.
