Luckily, this small shop called "The Island" was still in operation and offers semi-good Puerto Rican food. After a long wait of one hour (there was another table with 12 people that needed to be served first) we got our food as:(1) Red Snapper with rice and beans (2) Ribs with fried Plantains (3) Mahi-Mahi fillet with baked potato (4) Chicken stew with fried plantain. Baked potato was rated good among all of us, but the chicken in my chicken stew had a strange raw taste that I barely ate any of them ... on the plus side, the view was gorgeous!

We got turned around, and ended up across from this restaurant, sowe decided to stop. $1 mojitos. Sold. Instantly made the day better. Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I could remember her name. She was helpful in choosing our meals, our drinks, etc.. We had 2 small children, that were bored and needed to run around. They allowed the girls to be in another area to run and eat so they would not bother other patrons. Food came, was good, the view fantastic. There was 90's, early 2000's music playing, at a volume appropriate for an outdoor bar. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

The food was absolutely incredible, without a doubt the most flavorful meal we had all week, and honestly one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Order the chicken... WOW! Every bite was packed with amazing flavor. The service was truly exceptional. One of our servers, Allen, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He took the time to talk with us & he didn't seem rushed. The teamwork among the staff was amazing to watch. There was a gentleman constantly walking through the dining room clearing plates the moment we were finished, keeping everything spotless without ever interrupting our meal. Everyone worked together so seamlessly, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they do. While we waited for our food--which actually came out super fast for PR--our daughters loved spending time down by the beach area. It was the perfect way to keep them entertained while we relaxed. And the view... photos simply don't do it justice. We had no idea just how breathtaking the setting and ambiance would be until we experienced it in person. If you're in Rincón, La Copa Llena is a must-visit!!

Unlike your typical Puerto Rican restaurants on this island, this restaurant is pretty white washed, so expect to be treated like it's mainland USA and they expect you to treat them the same. Water is not free. They'll bring you fancy water and charge you $5 for it. For food we got the Fish Curry ($32), Orecchiette Pasta ($28), and Tapa Poke ($20). The one dish not worth getting is the Tapa Poke as the portion is essentially bite size and you're paying $20. The others were pretty good, no complaints.
